Check back in a few days for a “harvest” update! (note: I won't put any weight or anything on the harvest since I didn't grow it myself, I just wanted to post this for educational purposes)
Unfortunately this was an impromptu decision so I forgot to take pics of the buds beforehand. But I bought an ounce worth of THC Biomed Sativa (they obscure the strain but I think it’s Durban Poison).
It was extremely dried out so that it would crumble between my finger tips just from handling it a little rough. It had a weird smell to it and it would feel like it was cutting my throat apart when I’d smoke it! Now to be clear I’ve bought this THC Biomed strain many times and this is the first batch I’ve had problems with.
Anyway, after the awesome success of my GSC water cure (will be posting those harvest results tomorrow) I decided to see what would happen with these buds since I can’t smoke them in the condition they came in anyway!
I ran the shake through the kief screen and got a little bit of kief that i smoked pretty much right away, within a few hours. It was also harsh. Way harsher than kief should be.
After only 12 hours of water curing, I did the first water change. And it was diarrhea fucking brown. Water curing my home grown stuff was nothing like that, it was just slightly cloudy water with a brownish tinge to it. And whatever was leeching out / off these buds smelled kinda like doodoo. Seriously. Not sure if they used a bunch of insecticides or sprayed them with cow shit for fertilizer or what?!
I kept changing the water every 12 hours and for the first 3 days it came out diarrhea coloured every time.
Today I changed the water for day 6 and it looked more like day 1 of water curing my home grown stuff.
I’ll either start drying tomorrow or change the water for a couple more days depending on what the water looks like tomorrow morning.

@CroMagEh, yup! Check out the GSC I just harvested, I water cured one of those plants too. GreenMachine got me started on this method :) Just be gentle when you handle the buds / bag of buds as you change the water and all.
