Borderliner xtreme grow (AMS)

This is a 5 week old from clone borderliner extreme. My personal favorite to grow and smoke. It gets huge sticky bugs, finishes in 7 to 8 weeks from flip, and gets you super stoned. You can even let it go to 9 weeks if you want a smoke that leaves you in the couch for the rest of the night. If you've never tried a properly grown borderliner extreme from AMS, you're missing out.

Another week of her getting taller. She has one really long bottom stem that almost makes her like a topped plant at this point, I'll take 2 donkey dicks instead of one, sure :)

Just waiting for her time in the flower tent. Shes up next! Looking awesome too. Long arms, all stacked heavy and ready to produce some super sticky coffee killas!

time for this girl to shine. I've had borderliner from 2 different shops. One in Colorado, and one in Vegas. I don't know where they got their stuff from, but it sure wasn't the borderliner xtreme that I grow and love. Bought these seeds from AMS back in 2013. The story goes that Daan Brinkers gifted this strain to the breeders on his death bed. It being his personal smoke for decades. They crossed that borderliner with their Xtreme breeding stock (I think its some sort of widow Male they use on most of their high-end stuff) After stabilizing the strain they released it to the public. Now I'm pretty sure I bought seeds from that original batch, maybe they have made more that aren't as stable or something since, though that's not the way AMS operates. Maybe I just care more. This is a kickass strain. It flowers in just 7 to 9 weeks, and gives you huge sticky, stinky nugs. She's a pleasure to grow and even more fun to smoke. Chop at 7 weeks and you have an uplifting high that you can function on if you take it easy and just take a puff here and there. Let it go to 9 weeks and it will get the guy sitting next to you high just from contact. One of my favorites, I always have some of this on hand. Also I used bud ignitor for the first time ever. Supposed to cut that initial stretch time before hard-core flowering starts after the flip to.just a few days. And give more bud sites. See what it can do!

Looks like the bud ignitor did something for sure. Took 7 days for it to look like its into full flower already. That's much faster than the 10 days it usually takes. All node points look much closer together as well. Also didn't cause any sort of nute burn or anything. The liner can be a bit sensitive so thats good to see as well. Day 5- she's stretching a bit still at night, but putting on heavy flower during the day. She's always been a quick start, but she's really going for it already. A true joy to watch. Another week or two and her heavy coffee aroma will start taking over. Everything will smell like folgers for the next 6 weeks.

its been a week since I started counting for flower. I can see that the bud ignitor has indeed gotten more budding sites, with heavier flower at the one week point. 😀 She's looking pretty hairy already, should start putting on trichomes in this next week, she likes to put those out early, and then keep putting out more in waves. Day 15- the liner is starting to work her magic, putting on a bunch of new pistils and starting her first glaze of trichomes. She's looking really pretty and starting to get a bit of a coffee smell. Delicious. Day 17- love her thick hairs, and they're so white! Makes the skunk and grape krush on either side of her look like their hairs are more golden hued. Looks like shes gonna start her second round push of calyxes. She goes in spurts of calyx production and then trichome production. Does this 5 or 6 times depending on if you cut her at 7 weeks or 9. Love this bitch so much. If I had to pick my spirit animal, it would be my borderliner xtreme.

Some of her hairs are staring to orange up, they aren't drying quite yet, but they are changing colors! Just that much closer to having some liner to smoke again! Starting to really stink now too. Once week 5 rolls around you need a carbon filter for sure, or everyone on the block will know there's a plant somewhere near-by

Start of week 5 today and the "liner" is chugging along nicely all her top colas are pretty heavy and her branches are starting to fill in really nicely. Some of her fans are getting their late period purple as well. She's a fast flowerer, and will only be getting water after day 40. One more feed is all this girls gonna get probably , then on to harvest! Hope y'all are safe and healthy, til next time!

Just basic root nutes then only water from here on out for the liner. She is always a joy to grow and smoke. Finishes super quick too, in 47 to 50 days normally

shes in her final push for sure now. Gonna let her run a bit longer and get some more amber trichomes before I chop her down.... though I will admit its hard to wait even another week to chop her. Love this smoke so much, and I miss her. Been a couole months since shes graced my bowls. Couple months too long.
