Bubbas Gift Autopots

Today I received a few clones from a buddy GD @Farmer2k / IG @familytrees19 Bubba's Gift Doing things alittle different this time and I'm trying out the 4x Autopot 15L pots System with Airdomes Indoor 4x4 Gorilla Tent 2x Mars Hydro TS1000 (Added 2x Mars Hydro TS600 for flowering) Medium: 50/50 FoxFarms coco/ Liapor Clay granulate Light 20/4 Temp Day 76 Night 70 Nutrients: Advanced nutrients ph perfect M/G/B for veg The Autopot system is super easy to and took no time to setup . If your not familiar with the autopots, its basically a self watering system. Its my 1st time using it so I'm super excited to see how good and reliable this system is . Day 2 after transplanting the clones into the autopots and the little ladies are loving their new home . Keeping the system off and watering manually for the first 2weeks to allow the roots to develop and reach the bottom of the pots before turning on the system .. Stay tuned

Week 2 and these ladies are growing like weeds These beauties just blow up over the last week.. Today we topped and defoliate the plants. Time will tell how long we will veg for .. I'll flip the switch when I'm happy with the canopy. I kept the autopot system off and only water manually. I did turn on the air pump to the airdome after the 1st week.. Today I will turn on the system . I mixed a resivor with 38L of water. Like I mentioned earlier it's my 1st time running the autopots so I dont know how much water and nutrients I will go through, but I will keep notes and be sure to post them as the week go on ...

So far the autopots are doing their job. Havent manually watered the plants over a week and they are just blowing up with growth... Been keeping track of how much water the system has been using .. and just over a week they used about 4gallons of water .. My nutrients are still the same , nothing changes in the veg state ..Topped last week and Started LTS this week and plants are looking great .. I might veg for 1 or 2 more weeks

So I'm really loving the autopots so far.. Havent manually watered the plants in the last 2 weeks ... I also started training the plants since late week 2 ..I defolitated the babies 3 time already . I'm using Advanced nutrients m/g/b and using a 3rd of recommended dosage... I used about 30L of water in 2 weeks for 4 pots The ladies are blowing up with new growth and lots of bud sites ... I really happy with the canopy at this point and will switch into flowering in week 5 .. I also received 2 new ts600 marshydro lights Figured I will off set the light so 1 ts1000 1 ts600 over the 2 left plants and same for the 2 left plants .. Hoping of getting denser nugs then previous grows .. so I will set these up for the flower stage

Really happy with canopy at this point and time to switch to flower .. I'm excited!! Completed 36hrs of darkness before the switch to 12/12 I added 2 Mars Hydro ts600 hoping for more dense nugs ... End of week 5 (1st of flower) noticed leaves on the plant getting alittle brown around the edges looking like nut burn .. so like I mentioned before it's my 1st time using the autopots ... I noticed in the resivor when the level was low , I have a small pump circulating the water .. its was really bubbling . Almost looked like water and soap ... never seen this happen before, maybe to much power on the pump?? Also I'm using advanced nutrients ph perfect When I 1st check the ph which I hardly never do with advanced nutrients it was 6.8, when I noticed the issue the ph spiked to 8 in the resivor... when I looked in the autopots the water solution was very clumpy and nasty ... Let's just says the plants are not happy at all.. They went from beautiful to shriveled up in 12hrs while lights were off .. if anyone ever had this issues I would love some feed back... I might also shoot advanced nutrients an email see what's up So my chilling saturday became some work .. (im not complaining 🤣) Emptied the resivor gave it a wash , mixed up 21L with 35ml of advanced nutrients flawless finish.The ph after only using flawless was at 7.5, I brought it down to 5.8 with white vinegar Disconnected the autopots and emptied /washed the trays and floats. Placed the pots in a Home dep bucket and manually flushed until runoff filled half HD bucket ... Will run only water with flawless ph @ 6 until plants bounce back .. fingers crossed I'm using almost every advance nutrients product and flowing the chart but using 3/4of recommended dose .my TDS was 1000-1100. will cut that back to to 40% ..

Plants bounced back nicely after A flush with flawless finish and then I flushed With advanced nutrients cal mag Some tip of leaves are burnt but I can live with that .. Mixing less water in my resivor so I can keep an eye on it and so I dont end up wasting nutes Buds are starting to form Lower my ph to 6 since it keeps climbing up for some reason Using 3ml /l of my base nutes and 2ml for everything else...ppm 1200 Other then that looks like were back on track

Plants are doing and looking beautiful. Plants look like they fully recovered from the previous weeks mishaps.. Buds are developing nicely at this point And every day I notice them slightly bigger .. I'm noticing the smell get stronger day by day as well Keeping temp at 76-78 and humidity at 45% At the end of week 3 I will run 7L of pure r20 ph@6 through the autopot system , to let any accumulated salts from the hoses and roots flush out . The plants should use up 7L in about 2 days and then I will continue with my regular feedings probably on day 3 of week 4 Also the weather has been getting warmer the last few days and after adding the 2 new lights the temps are getting higher in my tent .. Added 8inch Vortex inline fan to bring fresh air from outside on a controller that shuts on or off depending on temp

Plants are looks great .. 2 of the plants have huge colas already and getting bigger and fatter everyday.. I'm hoping the other 2 catch up ..lol Been having some issues while mixing my nutrients in my resivor.. Got alot of great info from other growers on GD network and was able to resolve my issues... Turns out the rhino skin was causing all the issues ... Since getting some help I havent had any issue with the nutrients mixture.. I also cut down on how much additives I add each feed.. Also notice my stems are purple... from what I remember they were always purple since I got the clones ... maybe genetics or sulfur deficiency or something ... anyways to far into the week to be worried about that , although this maybe why 2 of the plants have slower bud production..

Everything still looking good .. Buds are getting bigger everyday .. Not two sure what's going with 2 of the plants .. After the issues from week1 of flower these 2 never seemed to bouch back 100% and the buds are half the size ...

So time to flush has come .. tricones are cloudy and on one of the plants i noticed some amber ... tops flush about 6gs of flawless finish 2ml/l Ph to 6 . Then mixed enought in a resivor to bottom flush the roots .. 3 of the plants came out amazing With super dense colas .. One of the plants , well lets just say no comment... guess im making butter with that one ... going to flush for 1 week then im done with this strain .. The smell his very strong citrus smell.. which im not the biggest fan of .. time will tell

Some time has come to harvest these beauties Posted these weeks kinda last and this is day 7 of week 11 so tomorrow would be start of week 12 but im chopping them down today ! These were one of the fastest flowering strains i have grown so far .. week 6 noticed about 80% tricones cloudy buy week 7 noticed about 5-10% amber I finish a week of bottom flushing the plants with the autopot , and flushed with 6gs of water per plant the previous week .. I completed a wet trim on 2 of the plants .. I didn't realize how sticky these buds where .. And how many coals i had on each plant due to my LTS training.. i cut down the other 2 plants as well but will complete the trim tomorrow.. 3 plants coals are super dense and sticky and smell amazing . The 4th the buds are really small , still looking good tho.. not sure what happen with this one, possibly the nutrients issue i had the 1st week of flower, she just never fully bounced back . Lights are off and keeping the temp around 65f and 50% humidity and will check on them daily

So I had my up and downs with this grow Bubba's gift , clones i received from a friend and a fellow grower @farmer2k I had issues with my advanced nutrients And mostly rhino skin (silica based ) Advanced does not tell you how to properly mix these .. I would have my resivor with nutrient water ph spike through the roof and and the liquid would get all goowie, had to explain .. Pretty much cause my plants to lock them self out .. with so advise and lots of flushing i was able to recover .. As always i am very impressed with the ts mars hydro lights . I used 2 ts1000 and added 2more ts600 in the flowering cycle .. Let me tell you how impressed i am with these nugs.. They came out so dense , the size of the buds where not the biggest but over all i got 8.5 oz of dry herbs out of 4 plants .. This stain flowers pretty quick as well . 7 weeks and i had to chop the ladies down I started flushing with flawless finish at 5 1/2 weeks I harvested buy chopping the plants at the stem And hung them in the tent .. Room temp was kept at 73 and humidity at 60% for the 1st 3days.. on days 3 i did the wet trim . And lowered humidity to 50% .. I find if i keep the leaves on for a few days it dosent dry the bud as fast .. the leaves are still pretty wet at this time so trimming is no more difficult then if i trimmed them the 1st day .. Day 5 i lower humidity to 40%. Day 7 buds feel dry and stems want to snap but they don't .. i don't like to over dry before the cure , the buds also got a closer manicure .. Jared and sealed placed in fridge set to 20 Celsius After 24hrs humidity in jars at 71% Burbed jars twice a day for 10min for 2 weeks . After 2 weeks the taste finally started to kick in but was not quite there yet ... After 2 weeks i Burbed once a day for about 5 min or more .. Week 4 of cure and jar humidity is at 59-60% Of course i started to smoke at this point and the taste and aroma is wonderfully.. I continued to cure and burb jars once a day for about 2min , or everytime i came to take a nug out for 8 weeks .. Wow let me tell you the cure came out amazing , well worth the wait ... I got 8.5oz on the scales out of 4 plants . Taste smokes amazing ... super white even ash, nice continues burn .. Has a super citrus/ gas/spicy taste Super calming and relaxing although it sometimes puts me to sleeps .. Autopots system i was not disappointed nor impressed with it , i might have been turned down by it because of the issues i had with advanced nutrients rino skin, so i will be giving this system another shot.. I found out how much water my plants used in 2 days and tried to only fill that much water in the resivor.. i had no clogging/leak issues and plants used up the water as they needed .. system is super easy to set up as well .. I'm super happy with the overall outcome of this beautiful product as was everyone thats tried it so far!! Strawberry banana next !! Stay Tuned!!
