This will be my 3rd attempt at growing Mephisto Genetics Auto Flowering seeds. I put 1 Mephisto Genetics Beary White seed,1 Mephisto Genetics Skylar White seed and 1 Mephisto Genetics Skystomper seed in separate damp paper towels and kept them between 2 plates for 36 hours. All 3 seeds popped within 24 hours. Then, I put them in 3-gallon pots with 3/4 Fox Farm Happy Frog soil and 1/4 Fox Farm Light Warrior seedling soil at the top. I'll be using Advanced Nutrients on this garden and that feeding schedule will begin around week 2.
I went ahead and filled the soil to the top of the pots with FoxFarm Happy Frog and I also began uncovering the seedlings from underneath their clear plastic humidity dome cups.
Next week, they all go into the Grow tent!
Keeping the humidity up and giving them more H2O every 2 days. It going to be so nice to know that I have these strains growing again in my tent. I can't say enough about Beary White and Skystomper, such a quality effect.
These little ladies are doing great and I've started low-stress training this week. They seem to drink up their water very fast now so I have to make sure to keep them feed. I can't complain about anything right now and it's been a real joy to grow them. Mephisto Genetics really are amazing strains and I'm so lucky to be able to grow them!
This week was about training these plants to have an even canopy and increase their overall yield potential. I've seen a few small bugs that could either be aphids or fungus gnats. I've added some ladybugs into the grow space to get rid of them. These plants are doing well and I'm hoping they'll veg for a few more weeks before going into pre-flower.
This week I had to redo the LST tie-down setups on each plant so that they could readjust where the top colas were located. These plants are doing just fine with this type of training. I'll have a much heavier yield than ever before, and it only took me 3 attempts to make these Auto bloom out to their full potential. I still think that Skystomper is a great strain, but it's pretty hard to get it to branch out just like I want it to. I think this is because the stalk is super thick and resists the training I put it through.
I can't wait to see this harvest. All the plants are doing great and smell so awesome! I have had a little trouble trying to make sure that these plants are getting enough food because they all seem to take in a lot more water while in these smaller pots. I've discovered that I'm really needing another grow light and I might have to search my area for a used 400-600 HPS light to finish them off for the next couple of week of their flowering stage. I really think the light has a lot to do with bud development and bulking them up so I think I may have too many plants for just the one used King Plus 1000watt LED light. No worries though, because they are growing and I'll have ample high-quality top-shelf marijuana for the next 4-6 months.
Skystomper by Mephisto Genetics is a fantastic strain! Luckily for me that Skystomper is resilient and easy to grow. I would recommend growing Skystomper because the aroma is to die for and the THC production is out of control. The density of these buds after curing is 9/10. They are rock hard and break open like you're splitting a pecan nut. A nicely packed bowl in a water bong will provide at least 2 hours of energy and introspective joy to your day.
I love this strain and I'm so happy to be able to grow it. I've already put another seed in some good Fox Farm Light Warrior soil and I'm ready to make this next grow outstanding!
Skystomper looks to be coming along fantastically buddy! Some seriously nice work going on here. I can't wait to see her develop further in the coming weeks. Happy growing buddy :D
Hi mate. Your plants are looking so great, well done. I want to ask you something, believibg on your experiences. I'm growing plants for the first time. My plants are at 4th week of flowering. But I'm feeling that the buds are so small. Is that normal or do they have to grow up more. I will be so thankfull if you look at my diary and leave me a coment. Have a good harvest.
@hiciste, I think the size of your buds is reflective of the strain's genetics. Your Pure Power Plant diary looks on par for size compared to @suthrngrwr 's growdiaries.com/diaries/3768-flowering-three-strains-in-a-ggt22-tent/week/18041 | You can also compare the lights used for flowering, since you've indicated that you run a 400watt LED, and @suthrngrwr uses something like a 400-600 HID light.
Your Pure Power Plant looks just fine to me and they should bulk up a bit more with time. You should expect to see them pack on a lot of weight around week 7 of the flowering stage.
