First time grower here. Germinated seed in paper towel with seaweed extra water for about 24hrs, Seed popped and planted into medium. Soaked medium in seaweed extract before planting. Once seedling popped out of the ground, positioned the pot under light. Kept the pot moist with seaweed extract twice a day.

Day 14: Growth has slowed down for some reason. I cant figure out what’s causing the slow growth. She looks healthy, no signs of any trouble. Does anyone see anything wrong here? Day 20: Added organic calmag this week. The Ph runoff was off from the beginning I guess that is the reason for the slow growth. I’ve rectified it and since then she started to grow again.

Day 28: woke up to the plant all droopy. Not sure why definitely not over or under water. Everything seems healthy. Few hours later: she’s back up perky as if nothing has happened. What a tease! Day 33: growing healthy without any signs of trouble. She’s loving the feed i gave and wants more.

She’s branching out really good. I noticed some pistils have developed ok tiny bud sites which just popped out. Might change to flower soon when side branching is well developed. She is loving everything provided for her, no complaints no deficiencies all healthy and happy.

Day 40: New week new haircut. Did some little defoliation to let more light penetration to bud sites below as she was getting really bushy. Her feeding frequency has increased now as she’s getting bigger. Day 44: Only been 4 days since defoliation and already getting bushier again. Growing strong, healthy and fast. Pistils are popping out everywhere now. End of week 7 now. She exploded in growth this week and still growing coming into week 8. Branches have grew nicely with bud sites. Pistils are everywhere now. Waiting for her to start blooming. Cant wait once she does. Will reduce calmag to 1ml in week 8 and start using PK booster 30-20.

See how dark green is the foliage? That is nitrogen overdose. Also, 1 ml per liter of cal mag is enough. Keep in mind that as long as there are no deficiencies, there is no need to up the feeding.

New week and she’s still growing strong. In just 1 week plus she tripled her size. Im surprised how big she grew considering the sized pot i put her in really didn’t expect that, a good surprise definitely. Now just waiting for the flowering to kick off, bud sites are starting to open up. I had to tuck some fan leaves under to give way of some bud branches. She is really bushy though but i dont dare to defoliate anymore. Started using PK booster this week. End of week 8 and still growing slowly.

Pre flower are developing nicely. She is still growing i hope she stops growing soon cause im running out of height space. Its a real shocker she grew as big as a plant in a big pot, I guess if you really take care of a plant she will yeild big for you. Im really curious how her roots look like in the small pot shes in. Increassd PK booster by to 2ml, thats the max i will go. Day 63: Defoliated some tiny lower buds that were not getting enough light also to let the plant focus more on the upper developed buds.

There are 2 situations when I use calmag. Whenever I use ro water, I use botanicare calmag+ at 5ml per gallon. The other time is after I have ensure my ph is correct and ec in range, I will add calmag+ if the plants are telling me they need it. If your source water is tap with a ppm over 150, you should be ok ditching the calmag. I do not use calmag in my tap water grows. My tap water is 300ppm alone.

Could someone point out what these brown spots & edges are? Im hoping its age as she’s coming into week 10. Ive read that it could be cal def but it cant be since im giving calmag since veg. Its only on first set leaves on bottom other leaves are fine no signs of it.

It's not CALMAG. Since the leave is very dark green, I'd suspect it's an overall nutrient burn. You should cut all N at this point. Good luck mate!

Start of week 10, she’s finally stop stretching..i think. More into bud development now and is coming along nicely. Reduced water frequency as ive read plants at this stage take up less water but still sufficient is required (correct me if im wrong). I’ve cut back on calmag cos it contains 3% nitrogen and nitrogen is not needed anymore at this stage, also she doesn’t require calmag anymore. Updates as the week goes. Let me know what you think of her so far.

Start of week 11, Vertical growth has finally stopped at 75cm. As she was very bushy lights were not getting through to the lower part of the plant. Lower bud sites are not as big as middle sites so I decided to defoliate unnecessary leaves that were blocking and couldn’t be tucked. Now light can penetrate through better hopefully lower sites will progress. Also reduced nute dosage since there’s less foliage to store any.

Leaves has strated to die and fall off. Some are still yellowing and will fall off anytime. She has a strong skunky smell overpowers the smell of the Blackberry. Took off a sample bud to dry off and test the smoke out. I think another week before harvest so im going to flush soon. Day 93: Did flushing today. Leaves are dying off nearing end of life.

This is the longest flowering auto that i ever know, though its a fun strain to grow. Not much complaints from this plant as long as you provide her needs. I grew this strain in a 16oz pot so yield is not impressive also its my first grow. Im happy with the results, buds are semi airy but potency is there. Quality over quantity. Has a skunky smell in last weeks of flower but when touched has a fruity smell. Although this is a sativa dominant strain it has indica traits. Cbd is good and strong in this strain, kicks in as a secondary high. Good to smoke anytime of the day. Overall a good strain to smoke and grow. Maybe not so for first grow due to the lengthy timeframe.

@hoesay has a good answer ! just reduce the nutrients , only feed every third watering with NPK, that means once every ten days minimum . Hope this helps ! 🚀
Chilipadi
Chilipadicommented5 years ago
@JuicyBuds__BLM, yea bro coco needs daily feed cos coco is inert it doesn’t have anything in it. I water to runoff everytime. I chk runoff ph once a week only adjusted once.
JuicyBuds__BLM
JuicyBuds__BLMcommented5 years ago
@Chilipadi, daily? Im also in coco and do every other day. But i feed on every watering since i use RO water. I may be wrong, but i recommend giving more water at once instead of little day by day. I usually have about 20% runoff after giving my girls half a gallon in 3 gal airpots and coco. Runoff is crucial, i recommend checking the PH and PPM of said runoff on every watering too. Helps with monitoring PH and how much your girls are eating. Happy growing!!

@CRiSPrGrow @hoesay , im in coco not soil so i need to feed daily. Ive reduced dosage a while ago now. Thing is its only the bottom 2 fan leaves nowhere else. If it is really nute burn it shd be more leaves affected so im still unsure. Many has said age too.

It is crazy from week 5 where she was 14 cm started flowering her height is 75 cm now. It means she steched more than 4 x bigger. I experienced similar. Very nice she is a monster genetics I love the way she does stretching a lot :) 5th week of flowering expect to be finished around week 9 or 10 :) I cant wait to see soon :) Healthy!

Hey bro I really suggest you check the trichomes on it for the harvest. If a lot of them turn amber she is gonna lose the THC. It will have crazy couch lock effects then. About 20% amber and other cloudy would be an amazing time to harvest.

Chilipadi

@BlogMArley, what do u suggest to give to sustain the flowers?
Chilipadi

@BlogMArley, thanks. She received the defoliation well not much stress on her. Just have to do it at right time and pace. Yea has nutrient excess in early weeks but I reduced the dosage a while ago. Her stem is small and thin because she is growing in a small pot not big.

@BlogMArley, yes 25.c at day and about 20.c nights. The purple stem comes and goes as temp changes day and night i guess. Humidity is definitely not high at 40-50%. That's some root porn bud <3 let me know how she smoke/vape/digest whatever you're planning to do with her. Myself I was confused because somewhere around week 7 she smelled like orange soda/sherbet but it was for brief period of maybe 5 days, then she just smelled like any other plant. Today I got some sticky fingers when working in tent, I've rubbed them together and damn it's some proper Citrus punch, can't wait to harvest. I've been loosing 10-15 leaves everyday for past 4-5 days so she's cloooose.
Chilipadi
Chilipadicommented5 years ago
@Elek007, yea roots are rootbound for sure just surprised how she still manage to grow how she did. The smoke on this is good imo. More on the lazy side due to the strong cbd content. Has a good sativa high with nice mellowed cbd kicking in not long after. Same here citrus smell when touched but skunky smell overall. Pretty dank. I would grow this strain again enjoyed it and the high.

looking good so far! word of advise, you will need a support for this tall beauty! for the main and for the secondary branches. She will be heavy in few weeks and the risk of breaking will be huge, especially if you like to move them around . For the next projects, you will need to look into mainlining and scrog, you will be surprised how much easier, nicer and structurally stable is, not mentioning the yield is much better.
Chilipadi
Chilipadicommented5 years ago
@@occultgreen420, i was thinking about that to support the branches. Only problem is shes in a small pot
