She popped after 3 days which is a few days quicker than it normally takes. (about 5-7 days). I sat the bowl on top of my Aerogarden light for warmth so it's possible that could have moved the process along a little.
Well I placed the fan a little too close to her and found it flat against the hydroton bed. Propped her up with a cocktail spear and it looks to be making a recovery. I may wait another week or so before placing in pointing fan on it again.
Slowly getting a breeze back on her. She’s showing some decent vertical growth so far and looks happy and healthy. Also lowered the grow light about 6". I likely will be topping in the next few days. Until next week,

now of you train the two that come out to go towards the pot edge , the other nodes can catch up and form even more mains. ideally you should remove node 1 and 2 as well to create a 4-way quad. each arm will form their own tip which can also be held down or topped to create more mains. lots of options. nice start and dont be afraid to try stuff out. they will love you for it. silky smooth has some great examples too. I use this method a lot

-Topping off reservoir with PH'd water and changing res. weekly.
-Day 23 she has bounced back and newly exposed nodes are showing growth.
- Day 27 New nodes have made their way through ScrOG screen.
-Added ScrOG screen as well and starting light stress training.
Day 29: She had reached her way through the ScrOG screen. Showing rapid growth. Continuing with LST and looking to increase air circulation with a new fan.
-Ended week 5 with some light defoliation beneath the canopy. Fingers crossed and hoping to fill most of the grid by the end of week 6.
- Day 36: Reservoir Change
- day 38: trimmed largest fan leaves and defoliated some leaves that were blocking nodes.
Day 43: The day has arrived to throw her into flower! Upping nutes and continuing to LST
Day 46: Some more LST and trimmed a few leaves.
Day 48: Continuing with more LST. Trimmed more leaves in an attempt to get a few more cola sites up to the grid before the end of week 8.
Starting off week 8 with some light LST and clipping some large fan leaves here and there. Keeping nutrients the same for this week and then cutting the FloraGro in half.
Training: I ended flower week 2 with some significant defoliation. It will likely be the last time I touch the plant other than the occasional fan leaf.
Nutes: Cut the amount of FloraGro in half.
Day 63: All final trimming and LST are complete. More or less on cruise control from here on.
Day 64: Raised light up a few inches to accommodate for the last stretch.
Day 67: About to hit the home stretch before harvest
Nutes: Lowered Floragrow / Upped Florabloom
Budlets are starting to noticeably fatten up. I’ve been experimenting with a few different ways to lower the reservoir temperature a few degrees.
New ventilation system is in the mail so hopefully that will help.
Day 74: New ventilation system has been installed.
Last 2-3 weeks before harvest! She is becoming pungent and aromatic to the touch. Attempting to control the reservoir temperature a little better during this last push.
Week 7 Flower has begun. Dialing back slightly on the nutes and will start trichome monitoring next week. I’m going to take some advice and let her flower an extra week or 2.

Day 94: New Quantum Board!
Well I think this may be the final week before flushing but who knows. She keeps developing more white hairs which also means THCa is still being produced. Monitoring trichomes daily and hopefully initiating a flush and 48hrs darkness by the end of this week.

Buds are very dense and falling over under their own weight. Very pungent and sticky as well. I will begin 3 day flush tomorrow (day 107) with 48 hour dark period for the last 2 days.
I sampled a bowl while trimming today. Earthy taste on the inhale and a very distinct floral taste that lingers on the exhale which is surprising with no cure. This could turn out to be a very tasty harvest. Very floral smell too.
Update: Deep stoney high. Starts in the head and works its way down through your limbs. I felt a slight tingle in my scalp and toes. Sudden couch-lock after an hour or so. I will be sure to update more after a few weeks of curing. Over all Afghani #1 from Sensi Seeds was a very easy strain to grow. Flowering time was estimated at +/-45 days. However, I would recommend going an extra 10-15 days as she did seem to pack on a good portion of her weight in that time span. Great strain for beginners. ✌️ 🌱🌲🌳🔥💨
