Update: Saturday: Day 8 The first of the seedlings has shown above the soil this morning, it’s great to see Zkittlez is The fastest of the Fastbuds. (A second strain has now shown it’s first girl, Original Sour Diesel) a good day Wednesday: Day 4 The remaining 3 strains (9 seeds) all showed their taps today and were immediately sewn in their pots outside. Tuesday: Day 3 15 out of 24 seeds have now shown their tails, these 15 were sewn directly into their forever pots and covered with home made cloches Monday: Day 2 Seeds were transferred from the distilled water to soaked kitchen paper and placed in their individual zip bags to germinate. About 25% of the seeds germinated in the water during their 24hr soak, I placed them all in wet paper for another 24hrs to allow the slower ones to catch up and give me time to get their forever pots ready. Sunday: Day 1 24 seeds, 3 each of 8 strain were dropped into distilled water at 1pm. Triple marked so no mistakes are made, each seed pack was given its own indelibly written cup and labeled zip bag. The bags serve a double purpose, firstly as small lightweight plastic propagation lids and later they will be the bag in which the seeds will germinate in moist paper. For now we wait for the seeds to sink (and possibly sprout, but that’s unlikely in 18 hrs) and around 8am tomorrow they will be moved into the paper towels.
