Today is 1 week since the bean popped the top of the dirt. She shot up fast, has beautiful green color. No issues. Water as needed. Organic grow using Fox Farm Ocean Forest and Kind Hot soil. Nothing added except for the Mykos. Using ONLY reverse osmosis (RO) water. My lighting consists of MarsHydro LED and 2 "drop lights" that contain 60w WalMart Soft White LED Bulbs.
Stay tuned...
Shes grown very well this week, shes up to 5cm! That's 5cm in 14 days since germination! Havent watered her too much, getting a feeling from her on how much she needs... past week was 2 decent heavy watering and 2 light ones... Not wanting soil to dry out too much, trying to water on outside ring to promote root growth. Probably will start gentle LST in next day or 2..
So, sorry a smidge late on this weekly update. MA#3 is growing beautifully. Started LST being gentle. Watered as needed w ih th only RO water. Looking forward to seeing this beauty grow and produce
OK.. wow! This week explosive thick tall growth,
Water as she needed it as before.
Increased LST a bit, being gentle (probably too gentle), very minor trimming of leaves earlier in week to allow more light to (PRE) flower sites.
Noticing at times a slight "Ganja" smell, which is very nice combined with the aromas of Oregano, Basil, & Lavender, but I'm sure that is from MA#1 & MA#2 since they are definitelyinto "flower".
Her (to be)flower sites are very pretty abundant, Beautiful plant all around..
Would love any suggestions or recommendations for her continued beautiful growth....
So.... another week has come and gone, all the while this medicine keeps growing...
Mexican Airlines #3 is a week plus a few days behind the other 2, because I sprouted another liberty bean to fill the tent. MA#3 "seems" to be a "different pheno" than #1 & 2. My reason for this observation is that MA#3 color is just slightly different than 1 & 2!.. Her green for #3 is not as deep a green, but very healthy and vibrant! I wonder how she'll play out... I have very high hopes and expectations for all 3 of these.
This week I continued with the LST as well as gentle trimming of fan leaves to allow light to the bud sites.. I probably be more aggressive than I am in this. Also attempting the "bend & hide" of the fan leaves. Really trying not to stress this sativa too much...
Still getting that beautiful Ganja smell mixed with the flower and herbal smells from my companion plants.... it's very nice...
Mexican Airlines #3 is not showing any trichomes yet, no worries it's only her 1st true week of flowering. MA#1 has the most so far (which is expected) as she has always seemed a faster grower.. MA#2 has them but its still minor.. no worries the babies are growing
I still havent added any extra "nutes"!... As I am using FoxFarm Ocean Forest as well as "KIND Hot Soil" (look this up! Wow!). The soil is jammed packed with organic goodness! I cant say enough how great the plants grow in this and how simple it is....
Still watering as needed, using only RO H2O, alternating between "light" and "heavy" waterings..
I love reading your comments and tips, so please post them.. Please follow my diaries as well as me in general...
Thanks,
BigHickory357
Ok... wow! Another great week of growth! Plants are healthy and vibrant... the smells are wonderful...
So what's new with MA#3? Well her many bud sites are now becoming more fragrant and sticky.. She is a happy plant!
I've continued with the LST and light trimming. Really did minimal addition this week hoping giving her a slight break will be good for her. I'm still trying bending and hiding of the fan leaves with some success..
I added 1/2 the dose/ concentration of "Big Buds ORGANIC" 1 feeding (GD does not have the ORGANIC version listed, so I listed the normal one)just for a slight kick. Seems to have responded nicely to it. Not anything "drastic" or "phenomenal" but "nicely". My watering as still as before, a cpl light waterings followed by a heavy.
So, you'll notice the pics of the JUG.. ok, so I was curious about adding CO². I've read a bit on it, and the "theory" is sound I guess, so I did my own Redneck-ification.. I used a 1 gal jug, put in 3 cups of sugar, 2tsp yeast, water, and covered the opening with a balloon that I poked a few holes in... yeast fermentation creates CO²... extremely cheap and easy to do... (as a side note, I found out fungus/ mushrooms create CO²! Looking at adding mushroom grow inside my tent... think about it... look it up!
I dont know if having "companion plants" like I do in the current setup is actually effective or not, but its pretty... and it doesnt hurt anything. But it does appear that my Basil and Oregano are not fans of my grow light (tho the Pot and apparently the Lavender do), seems like it's too much for them..
Overall in my opinion a successful week of good growing...
Please view, like, and "subscribe".. thank you
So, this week has been another success... shes growing very well... very sticky with resin, the smells coming of the buds is insane... no signa of issues, color is beautiful, plant is healthy and vibrant...
So MA#3 is just a bit closer to that glorious harvesting.. very long white pistils coming from the bud sites, plenty of trichomes on the buds and sugar leaves... doing light trimming leaves your fingers sticky and gooey... I'm impressed...
Just another overall great week...
Tgis week she grew very nicely, she is definitely a different phenomenon compared to MA1 & MA2, her buds are not as fat as the other 2, tho they are covered in organic THC Cananbnoid crystal goodness!
Still watering as needed, I think I've been watering on the lite side so to speak, cause I've notices that when I "water more" my plants are fine and healthy... so, I'm gonna water more... more nutrients from now on as well...
Checking her trichomes, almost all are completely clear, a few cloudy but by far clear... super sticky icky gooey to a level I almost contemplate touching myself 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 jk, well maybe. . Anyway...
She is a beautiful grow...
Hey there,
Thanks so much for running a diary of our genetics 🙌
Let us know if you need any assistance, we’re more than happy to help.
Happy Growing !!! 🌱☘️🌴🍀🌿🌳
Week 1!
All organic grow, using Foxfarm ocean forest soil with "KIND Hot Soil". Use of added organic nutrients are at a minimum due to the soil being pre loaded with cannabis pleasing nutrients.
