Hi,
This is OccultGreen420 botanist enthusiast and photographer.
Finally I get to start the journey in documenting my projects and the path from seed to trichomes photography which I enjoy very much doing. It is something that brought me to have a much deeper understanding for this beautiful plant, cannabis.
Glimpses of my trichomes photography can be seen on instagram @occultgreen420 , make sure to check it out and tell me what you think.
I recently got few incredible presents from Dutch Passion Seed Company, established in Amsterdam in 1987 and from the legendary old school genetics, Super Sativa Club established 1985. Thank you both kindly for the wonderful strains.
In this journal, I'll do my best to document my style of growing and finally the trichome photography at the end.
So, the seeds are:
Dutch Passion - Banana Blaze
"Treat this lady with love and she'll be real good back to you. Be conservative with nutrients, she doesn't need strong feeds to reach her full XL potential. When grown well, Banana Blaze will yield heavy harvests of tasty buds thanks to the numerous side branches.
She often finishes in a Xmas tree shape with long blooms. She can reach 1.50m tall and flowers for about 8 weeks. You can smell a distinctive banana aroma around harvest time and this can also be tasted, especially on the exhale when smoked. This indica dominant variety gives a great, relaxing body stone.
The special genetics came from an awesome 1990’s Dutch Passion gene bank banana indica. We had stored this “old-school” Banana Indica for a special breeding program just like this. The team were very impressed with the vigour and amazing terpene profile coming from this banana indica."
is what the breeder is saying on the website and I couldn't be more excited! I am a sucker for flavorful cannabis strains and Dutch Passion have an abundance to choose from. As it is the next plant:
Dutch Passion Meringue - feminized seeds, and this is what they say about the strain:
" Unique USA genetics
Very sweet aroma and fruity flavors
Compact buds with one of the highest THC levels
Quality of the flowers is top-notch with an amazing bag appeal
Meringue has a very sweet aroma and fruity flavour
Meringue is a hybrid indica/sativa strain with a complex fruity aroma that leans to the tangy side of the spectrum but a bit sweeter. It smells like oranges, mango and honey with some earthy, sour hints. Her aroma profile is also very pungent.
Meringue is a connoisseur’s delight
Meringue is a high-quality strain. She might not be the biggest overall yielder but the level of quality is definitely a reason to keep growing her again and again. Expect solid yields of stunning looking buds. Although the flowers can be a bit smaller, they are rock-hard and thus will still put down some weight on the scale. When handled well she will deliver you some of the most beautiful looking nuggets on the planet. The dark hues in the flowers and leaves makes the white layer of resin really pop out for an eye-catching bag appeal."
How can I not be excited to have the chance to develop and photograph and enjoy (hopefully) such a plant!
Dutch Passion - Mokum's Tulip is a 1st Prize Best Indica, Clouds in the City Cup 2019 and this is the presentation from the website:
"Dutch Passion's Head of Genetics came across a very special pheno of Gelato on one of his travels. The plant had an amazing candy smell and some beautiful blue tones in the leaves. The sparkling buds were rock hard, the Head of Genetics was amazed by the rich taste which was exactly the same as the deliciously sweet and appealing aroma of the buds on the plant. He knew that this exceptional individual would be outstanding base material for another elite Dutch Passion cross.
This Gelato pheno arrived in “Mokum” (the old Hebrew/Yiddish word for Amsterdam) and was crossed with a vigorous Sherbet individual that also leans to the sweet side of the Cookie family. The Sherbet had a terpene-rich aroma, heavy yields and a particularly powerful effect.
Amsterdam became famous for tulips back in the day and the smell of this new creation reminded us of a very sweet smelling red tulip. The name “Mokum's Tulip” quickly came to mind. This XXL yielding strain is a must for your empty cookie jar"
Really interesting presentation and I am most curious to observe how it develops. It was the 1st one to sprout and was one of the biggest seeds I have ever germinated :)
Next on the list is Auto Durban Poison from Dutch Passion:
"Auto Durban Poison®️ is the automatic version of our legendary original Durban Poison photoperiod variety. This Sativa dominant autoflower can be harvested 10-11 weeks after germination and she will grow fast and tall, with plenty of side growth, just like the original. Auto Durban Poison®️ also shares the same luxuriously pleasant and uplifting experience as the original. This is a top quality feminized automatic which delivers a connoisseur quality vape/smoking experience with good yields. Auto Durban Poison®️ tends to take longer during vegetative growth than other autoflowers, which can allow her to grow a little taller. The buds grow large and resinous with that special, celebrated, Durban aroma. This variety will perform well outdoors too, she is a high-performance new automatic using some of our best genetics. Ideal for anyone seeking a top quality auto which delivers a strong and refreshing feel-good experience.
Seed to harvest is 10-11weeks, heights are typically 80-100cm, and occasionally she can get taller. Yields for the average grower are 75-100g, depending on the location and growing conditions. Experienced auto growers will easily exceed 100g+ per plant."
And last but not least (as they say) from the legendary Super Sativa Seed Club, Auto Creeper
"About Auto Creeper cannabis seedsIn the 80’s the SSSC worked with an indica strain called Williams Wonder. It was an interesting and occasionally freaky strain for research. Sometimes it showed autoflowering characteristics. This was unusual, auto genetics were far from understood in those days.Autoflower seed varieties need careful research, there are still plenty of underperforming low potency dwarfs from the lesser seed companies. However there have been some truly exceptional autoflower genetics created recently as well. These sometimes came via selectively inbreeding autoflowers with the best genetics over many generations. When done well, this preserves the autoflower gene as well as the THC-rich characteristics and taste/aroma from the photoperiod parent genetics. After studying autoflower breeding we worked on Auto Creeper. In our opinion this brings a whole new approach to autos. When the SSSC was re-established we knew that a good autoflower variety was required for the modern seed collection. But it had to be of superior quality to the typical ‘mid-quality’ auto strains which dominate much of todays market.Auto Creeper was made from scratch using THC rich genetics from our photoperiod Creeper sativa. We still had the autoflowering version of the original Williams Wonder in our seed archive. This was used to give the autoflowering characteristics to the genetics.More than 3 years of effort and lots of back crossing to the original Creeper was required until the team were satisfied with the quality. Auto Creeper is usually around a metre high with extensive side branching. She takes around 11 weeks to grow from seed to harvest, occasionally a couple of weeks longer for the heaviest yielding phenotypes. The buds look like real sativa flowers, long and stretchy. You may notice some broad indica-shaped leaves from the Williams Wonder indica heritage. But the smell and powerful effects are genuine sativa. You can expect generous yields, especially under intense light conditions."
Thank you both Dutch Passion Seed Company and Super Sativa Seed Club for the seeds.
Seeds were started on the 27th of February in Root Riot cubes, constant 20-21 temps, humidity as much as possible, kept in dark until today.
Today transferred in a 1m2 grow tent, with a carbon filter and extractor under a small Budmaster HPS-2 led light.
More info about the light:
Budmaster HPS-2
∙ LED's: 38 x Osram SSL80 Horticultural Family
∙ Coverage: 40 x 80cm
∙ PPF (Total): 96 µmol
∙ Energy used: 80w
∙ Input Voltage: 100 - 240v
∙ Frequency: 50 - 60 hz
∙ Voltage: 70v
∙ Amps: 0.36 Amps
I have used Budmaster led lights for many years now and they are amazing. Thanks Paul and Budmaster for all the support over the years! Plants are loving it. They have a sweet spot and you have to trail and error until you tune it just right, but when you get it...it's amazing to see how fast the plants respond to it.
Very small energy consumption, incredible powerful lights with most amazing yields. It was the perfect led light for self sufficient growers. The reason I am using past tense saying "it was the perfect light" is now Budmaster has developed a new range of incredibly superior horticultural lights, Cropmaster.
For more info check out their websites for more technical information https://www.cropmaster-led.co.uk/
Will keep you updated on how things will reveal with, hopefully, weekly photo updates.
I will reveal the type of medium , nutrients, growing techniques as we go along, I will not spoil the fan just yet.
Usually my main plan is to start with few Autos, for this project will have the 2x Auto Creeper and 2x Auto Durban Poison, which have a life circle of around 10-11 weeks.
They will be kept initially under 24h light and from week 2 or so, will decrease the light to 20h with 4h darkness.
In this way I will keep the feminized strains (Meringue, Mokum's tulip, Banana Blaze and another one which only now I mention and come back later, Purple#1 from Dutch passion) in a long vegetation of around 10 weeks.
All will unfold with time. Stay tuned and will see together how this seedlings will turn into monsters :)
If you have questions or suggestions, do ask and I'll do my best to answer.
Day 2:
All going well. Temp is constant at around 25 C, Humidity 45.
Today gave a bit of a water sprinkle (ph of water 6.5) no nutrients.
Dome still covering the seedlings.
No sign from Banana Blaze and 2nd Auto Creeper. Rest are doing great.
I always find the germination process and 1st week a very important and delicate period. If only this seedlings would know what is up for them in the next period...
Day 3
Seedlings are stretching and this is wonderful, at least for Auto Durban Poison, Auto Creeper, Meringue and Mokum's Tulip. Still no sign of the 2nd Auto Creeper and Banana Blaze.
Since the seedlings were stretched out, I've decided to build up on their root system as well. While they are nice and tall, I bury them as much as possible in a cup filled with soil. So the buried stem becomes root.
The soil that I use and used for many many years, is Plagron Royal Mix, easy to use, self explanatory, most important organic and is prefertilized for 6 weeks.
This plant develop very fast both outside of the soil and inside and roots have to be trained as much as the rest of the plant for the best results.
Plants were sprayed with clear water after transplant. No nutrients added.
Day 4
All good, seedlings are setting in. Gave a sip of water.
Day 5
All is well in the garden. Seedlings are enjoying the conditions. No watering today, just a light clear water spray over them.
Great news, Banana Blaze from Dutch Passion finally showing up, 5 days later than the rest of them. Delighted with this! Temps are 23 C and humidity 40%.
Week 2 vegetation :
Lights were changed to Budmaster G.O.D. x2 the spec as follows:
LED's: 50 x Osram SSL80 Horticultural Family
Coverage: 40 x 80cm
Energy Used: 90w
Input Voltage: 100 - 240v
Frequency: 50 - 60 hz
Current: 600ma
Voltage: 70v
Amps: 0.36 Amps
Dimensions: 19 x 32 x 6cm
Energy Used in 1 Year (5145hrs): 174.3 kWh/(a * m2)
I have been using the Budmaster light for a while now, with really good results. Plants are responding very well to it and the energy consumption is very small.
Starting from this week the plants will receive Plagron Power Root mixed with their water and also Plagron Vita Race mixed with the water for spraying.
The soil, Royal mix is pre-fertilized for 6 weeks, no need for any other nutrients at the moment.
The neodynium rings are finally here, so the 2nd week starts magnetic.
For more on the subject, have a look in here https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4154392/
End of 2nd week of vegetation:
Few modifications.
Moved the setup in a 1.5m2 tent.
The two autos have been transplanted in final pot. I believe ruderales plants do not like much transplanting and root manipulation.
20L Airpots, really good for root pruning.
Plagron Royal Mix was mixed with Diatomaceous earth to enrich mineral content and as a natural gnat larvae barrier.
Rest of the feminized were transplanted as well in 6L pots with same mix of Plagron Royal Mix with Diatomaceous Earth. This will be their vegetation pots. From now, at least 5-6 weeks they will vegetate in this pots and undertake occult stress techniques when time comes
Same amount of light, the 2 small Budmaster G.O.D. and the Budmaster HPS.
Monkey fan added for air circulation and stem strengthening.
Temps are 24C Humidity 45%. After transplant, plants were watered lightly with water mixed with power roots.
End of week 3 of vegetation:
Watering every 2nd day with around 200 mls of water with power root and spraying every day with mix water with vita race.
All going well so far.
I prefer leaving them get bigger before starting working on them, it is easier this way to keep branches down and easier to create a good flux of auxins. It's all ahead of us...hopefully.
Stay safe!
Week 4 of vegetation
Plants are doing well, starting to stretch and show some side branches.
The most vigorous plant so far is Auto Creeper from Super Sativa Seed Club. She got minor defoliation and LST done day 25 from seed just to stimulate side branches and growth.
Day 28 comes with the topping.
Meringue, Mokum's Tulip and Banana Blaze got their tops snipped today.
Will be left to recover for 5 days.
Week 5: and day 33 is an important one in the occult life of this plants.
Auto Durban Poison - doing well. She has this pattern on her leaves, might be a virus (?) Started showing pistils and early flowering. Minor defoliation done to fan leaves.
Auto Creeper is a tough pheno and strain. Did some bending to the main, some defoliation.
Both autos are getting water ph 6 mixed with Algae Bloom from Plagron.
Meringue and Mokum's Tulip will be done classically, main lining technique, ending up with 8 mains, 4 each side
Purple #1 (described in detail in different diary) and Banana Blaze are done in a different technique that previously yield more than the classic main lining one.
Tying down with gardening cable or stings attached to the edge of the pot is not a good idea. I see here on growdiaries so many breaking their stems because of this. My method never results in breaks and molds the plants much more natural and permits continuation of photosynthesis from the leaves caught under.
At the moment plants are under Budmaster Led G.O.D. x2 (90w), Budmaster Led HPS x2 (80w) and Budmaster COB x4 (200w) total of 370w in a 1.5m/1.5m tent.
Next few weeks will continue with the occult LST and manifolding. The idea is to keep at level all the shoots for an even distribution of auxins (growing hormone).
What you see outside is less important, but more important is what is inside the pot. The plants (apart from the 2x Autos) are in 6L pots and are week 5 of vegetation. Will try to keep them here as much as possible to develop a strong knotty root system, even to let them turn around in the pot to tend to root bound just a little bit. After they will be transferred in the final home, the 33L Airpots where plants will just explode in growth and size.
Most important is not to overwater and leave the wonderful Plagron soil and nutrients do what they do. Keep temps around 20 and that is it!
Stay safe!
Week 6:
Day 38 - all going well. Now it's just a waiting game. As the branches grow, every second knot will represent and anchoring point. Will wait 4 knots before topping again. Until then, micro occult LST.
Day 41 - Continued with the main lining on the Meringue and Mokum's Tulip. Banana Blaze underwent defoliation and 2nd topping. Will be aiming for 16 main colas for this one.
Introducing Alga Grow, started with 2 mls per 1 L.
Day 43 - did the last topping for Mokum's Tulip and Meringue. Classic main lining, aiming for 8x colas each.
From now on, no stress for another while. Depending on how they'll recover, next major thing will be re-potting in a week or so.
Week 7:
Day 43:
Instead of pictures, today a small video on how the plants are doing with some Summoning on the background (go check them out and listen to their music)
The 2 autos in the back are now fed 1L of water+ 4 mls Alga Bloom each every 24h.
Right back is the Auto Creeper from Super Sativa Seeds Club and Left back is Auto Durban Poison from Dutch Passion
The feminized ones every 2nd day they get 500 mls of water with Power Roots.
Light schedule is 20/4
Have them under Budmaster led lights - 2xGOD, 2xHPS, 4xCOB
Day 43:
Took some close up shoots at Auto Durban Poison whom I am suspecting of having a viral infection (Tobacco Mosaic Virus) I have seen it since after germination, but usually if the plant is growing fine, there is no need to distress. Or it might be a mutant abnormality?! I wouldn't do any defoliation or cuttings on her as the chance of spreading the virus (if it is one) to the others will be there. More on the subject:
https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/tobacco-mosaic-virus-tmv
Day 46:
All going well. No new things. In 3 days will change the pot to for the feminezed ones in the final pot.
Week 8:
Day 51 - Happy 420!!! go check out my instagram @occultgreen420 for some trichome close ups
Today was a big change for the plants. Repotted in 38L air pots, soil - plagron royal mix preferitized for 6 weeks, so back to water with power root.
Some LST done as well and minor lollipolping.
The two autos are doing well as well. Soon as they'll finish, lights will switch to 12/12. It'll be another 4-5 weeks until then.
Day 55 - they are 5 days in the new 38L air pot. Accommodating well. Defoliation and lollipoping done for Banana Blaze and Purple #1 (see the other diary for details) and some more LST.
Week 9:
Day 59
Name of the game is defoliation and LST at this stage. The newly formed mains need vertical grow now.
Plants are really responding very well to the whole process.
Still watering with only water and Plagron Power Roots for the moment. This is the 2nd week since the re-potting in the 38L pots. Yesterday was the 1st real watering of the plants with 4 L
The 2 autos are doing well. Asking for more water every day, now on 2 L of water with Alga Bloom 4 mls/L and started giving them Green Sensation 1 ml/L.
Day 60
Decided to move the 2 autos (Auto Durban Poison from Dutch Passion and Auto Creeper from Super Sativa Seed Club) into a separate 1m2 tent. It's for the best as they need space to flower. They are under Budmaster COB x4 (200w) and Budmaster G.O.D. x2 (90w) schedule 20/4
check out the full data sheet: https://www.plantasia.co.uk/images/productdata/COB4_Datasheet.pdf
The 4 fem plants (Meringue, Banana Blaze, Mokum's Tulip and Purple#1 will be continuing vegetating under Budmaster led G.O.D. x4 and Budmaster led HPSx2 schedule 18/6
End of week 9:
Plants are doing well, happy out.
Finished the water treatment tool. Just a funnel with 3 powerful neodymium magnets arranged to repeal each other. They are axial magnets. Very very strong, like the ones attached to the plants.
I had been experimenting with magnets and magnetic plant grow in the past. It is something else. Plants were getting extremely big with rapid growth. Let's see if I can replicate this now. Will start giving treated magnetic water to the plants from week 10.
By passing the water through the funnel's magnetic fields created with the 3 neodymium magnets arranged to repeat each other, the water molecules will get rearranged and magnetically charged. Have in mind plants are hydrophilic and between 90-95% water.
I promise, one of my next documented diaries will be with 4 same strain plants, 2 will be treated with regular water and two with magnetic water, just to have a proper documentation. So stay tuned, things are going magnetic!
If there's other growers with experience in this subject, let's chat around! let's push it to the next level!
Week 10:
Day 65: All is going well so far! The 4 feminized plants - Meringue, Mokum's Tulip, Banana Blaze and Purple #1 have now 1.5m2 all for themselves 18/6 and the 2 Autos, Auto Durban Poison and Auto Creeper are now in a 1m2 tent 20/4. It is all under Budmaster Led light.
Day 67 - thought of the day: By exposing the water to magnets, the salt ions change and dissolve, creating purer water that is more easily taken up by the plant. Studies on how magnets affect plant growth also show that magnetic treatment of seeds enhances germination by speeding up the formation of protein in the cells.
Day 69 - hope for next week to get some ORMUS for the plants. There is so much evidence and research around it, have no idea why the big fertilizing companies are not producing it or more growers are not into it. In all fairness, for ORMUS to be potent, you need a good shaman or alchemist. ORMUS elements that have been recorded are Cobalt, Nickel, Copper, Ruthenium, Rhodium, Palladium, Silver, Osmium, Iridium, Platinum, and Gold...and not only.
If you are not familiar with ORMUS or what exactly is it, have a look at https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/ORMUS
Follow this diary and will see where it takes and how big the trichomes will show 😍
Day 70 - end of week 10
To sum up, so far the 2 autos (Durban Poison and Auto Creeper) and the 4 photoperiod feminized plants (Mokum's Tulip, Meringue, Banana Blaze and Purple#1 - described separately) have gone through 400L of water.
The 2 autos are in a 1m2 tent with 20/4h lights, the 4 feminized are in a 1.5m2 tent with 18/6h lights.
The Auto plants are drinking 3L magnetically treated water with Alga Bloom and Green Sensation each, Durban Poison is more advanced so she is getting Sugar Royal in the mix as well.
I am really amazed by Auto Creeper's genetics. I did not expect this from an auto plant. Very nice aspect with multiple shoots at level. This would have been very nice under a Scrog and much more defoliation. Now it's too late. I'll just leave it as is at this stage, she's too well advanced in flowering and if defoliated, will retard her. Auto Durban Poison, as it stands, has another week, maybe week and a half to go, after Auto Creeper will be able to relax more in the space. Has still lots to swell up.
Week 11:
Started feeding ORMUS, a formula used by the pharaohs in ancient Egypt, The Essene brotherhood, King Solomon and alchemists throughout history.
ORMUS elements that have been recorded are Cobalt, Nickel, Copper, Ruthenium, Rhodium, Palladium, Silver, Osmium, Iridium, Platinum, and Gold.
100% Natural extract of Platinum group elements, including gold in mono-atomic form.
Alchemised under significant astrological events, charged with high vibration crystals throughout the process. 😵
Auto Durban Poison from @DutchPassion_Official is in her last week of flowering. Got water with ORMUS in the last 2 days and from tomorrow only water. Smells so wonderful! very sweet!
Finally, the reason @occultgreen420 grows, macro photos (the rests is only a bonus), will share some shoots here with the @GrowDiaries community, if you like and want to see more, check out the instagram page @occultgreen420 , like and follow there
Auto Creeper from @SuperSativaSeedClub is doing very well. Really, I was not expecting such an auto plant. Looking foreword in leaving her alone in the 1m2 tent after Durban Poison will be harvested. Drinks around 3L of water per day, started feeding ORMUS as well. As it looks, might have another 2-2.5 weeks until done. This one would have been great for topping, LST, ScrOG. It's one strain I would want to grow again, but to be aggressive with 😊
Mokum's Tulip from @DutchPassion_Official is looking obscene, spreading out the 8 mains and some secondaries I want to develop for the final canopy. I have seen some great growers like @Nebula420 and others around who did this strain and got some interesting blue shades I'd love to be able to capture that. Has another 2-3 weeks to go in vegi.
Meringue from @DutchPassion_Official stretching out like a cute sativa, but the leaves are more hybrid like. Also is going for 8 mains and some other smaller secondaries. Small knotting going around, will see where it takes. Never a dull moment in vegetation.
Banana Blaze from@DutchPassion_Official looking really nice, this plant will be massive, aiming for 16 mains and some secondaries. Will try as much to even the canopy for the next 2-3 weeks.
All the water this plants are getting is magnetically treated.
Was harvested day 80 from seed. Grew very well, typical ruderalis aspect seen on the leaves with 3 blades especially. The buds swelled up pretty nice in the end, with moderate trichome production and a fantastic sweet smell and aroma. What a treat of a smell! Branches felt heavy and had dense large buds on them.
Plant was done under Budmaster Led Lights G.O.D. x2, 90w, dry bud on scale - 78g.
The smoke is relaxing, euphoric, creative, energetic, uplifting but clear mind with increased attention to detail. So if you have work to do, this is one strain for you. Only down is that I grew only one ;) but, have some left over seeds and for sure will grow it again!
Kind thanks to Tony from @DutchPassion_Official and all the team for their incredible genetics! Thank you Paul @cropmasterled , thanks Plagron @Steven_Plagron for an always reliable 100% organic grow and thanks everybody here on @GrowDiaries for stopping by and watching the diaries.
Week 12:
Auto Creeper is now alone in the 1m2 tent having all the light she needs to swell up. It is an impressive plant. Did not expect an auto plant as big and robust as this one. I think the Neodymium magnet has something to do with it. The bottom branches, at the base, they look like they are dripping towards the magnet. During flowering the flux of water passing through the stem is very high. Drinks 3L of magnetically treated water, nutrients and ORMUS every day.
Meringue and Mokum's Tulips are stretching out as well and Banana Blaze got some occult stress technique done to keep her down.
Week 13:
Auto Creeper is swelling up, has at least another 2-3 weeks to go. It's a massive and impressive plant, has lots to swell up and put on the buds. Now drinking 3L of magnetically treated water, ph down naturally with Plagron Lemon Kick, ORMUS, Plagron Alga Bloom and Plagron Green Sensation.
Hope to start some macro photo sessions on this one end of week 14, so stay close or go check out and follow the instagram @occultgreen420 for more macro shoots.
Mokum's Tulip, Meringue the two plants that were mainlined in the classic style - aiming for 8 mains with secondaries around - are doing well, getting 5L of magnetically treated water mixed with ORMUS, Plagron Power Roots, Plagron Alga Grow and ph adjusted with Lemon Kick from Plagron, every 3-4 days.
Banana Blaze was mainlined for 4 mains and topped only twice, aiming for 16 mains with multiple secondaries. It's doing really well, I am keep postponing the defoliation and clearing and the plant is transforming into a huge bush. Next will will try to clear some of the lower growth and fan leaves. Is getting the same water mix as Meringue and Mokum's Tulip, but gets 5L every 2-3 days
Will continue the same until Auto Creeper will be harvested.
There is High Stress Training and then there is Occult Stress Training.
Week 14:
Day 92 from seed:
Auto Creeper is swelling up, doing absolute fantastic, drinking constant 2.5L magnetically treated water mixed with ORMUS, Alga Bloom, Green Sensation and started adding Sugar Royal in the hope that this will speed the flowering process. I'd give it another 2-2.5 weeks. For sure, Auto Creeper from Super Sativa Club is a particular strain, not your usual Auto flower. Beautiful aroma comes out of the buds.
Mokum's Tulip - undergoing some occult stress torturing technique, the mid branches were getting taller so now occult knitting is happening. Defoliation and lolipoping is done gradual. Gets 5L of magnetically treated water mixed with ORMUS, Alga Grow, Power Roots, Lemon Kick to adjust the ph, every 2-3 day.
Meringue - stretching out well. got some occult high stress technique done, same watering schedule and mix as Mokum's Tulip.
Banana Blaze - the biggest of the 3 feminized plants, the one that had a different topping and main lining done to it and clearly this can be seen in the size of the plant. Did lots of defoliation and lolipoping today. Still, the plant looks happy and green. Gets same water mix as the rest but drinks as expected, a bit more water than the rest.
Week 15:
Auto Creeper is still going with the flowering. It's a might plant, looks like it has more to go. Possible another 10-14 days. Buds are swelling, plant is looking great. Would be great to finish it soon as the other 3 feminized (Meringue, Mokum's Tulip and especially Banana Blaze, are getting very large.
Did some defoliation to the 3 feminized plants and...waiting for the Auto Creeper to finish to start flowering.
Day 103 - Cropmaster PRO 1000 LED Grow Light is here !! very exciting day for the plants! this is next level horticultural light! Go check them out on https://www.cropmaster-led.co.uk/
By the end of week 15, plants have gone through 1000L (1T!!!) of water.
Week 16, 1st week of flowering
After full 15 weeks of vegetation it's finally time for flowering. This means the mighty Auto Creeper from @SuperSativaSeed_Club it's on her last 48h, now fasting before will put her down.
Every journey needs a bit of drama... Banana Blaze decided to split on me...will remediate as soon as Auto Creeper will be out of the picture
Macro shoot for tease 😊
Will come later in the week with more photos on the rest.
One thing is for sure... I am amazed by the Cropmaster, plants are very quick to respond
Day 110 - Auto Creeper was harvested and Mokum's Tulip, Merngue and Banana Blaze got defoliated and ScrOG.
Auto Creeper from Super sativa Seed Club was harvested day 110 from seed.
It was a true journey with this plant. I did not expect such a big one out of an Auto. Multiple tall, dense colas, sticky and resinous, the plant was very strong to grow from start to finish. Possible was the magnets and the ORMUS contraption and most likely the great genetics @SuperSativaSeed_Club but this plant was enormous and gave lots back! Got 180g dry bud out of it, which is pretty sweet!
Auto Creeper was ready from seed to harvest in 110 days. Was very sturdy and strong to grow. Did not show any deficit throughout the grow and was really impressive to see how large she got with multiple side branches and typical sativa characteristics. I might have not made her justice, as she would have developed even more larger if defoliation would have been more aggressive and a ScrOG would have been added to the mix, but still, I am really impressed to get 180g dry bud out of an Auro strain done in soil in 110 days. Plant had the 550w only for the last week, previous she developed under 220w of Budmaster Led lights (now Budmaster have reformed in an even more superior way - Cropmaster Led lights, go check them out!!) I always grow in organic soil and use only organic nutrients (Plagron rules! thanks @Steven_Plagron ) for taste and this also was spectacular and unique. Tastes of flower fragrance, sweet and gentile. Aftertaste gets even better.
The effects are pure uplifting sativa. Focused, energetic and positive. This auto strain exceeded my expectation at every level, now being in my all times Top 2 strains.
I couldn't be more thankful to @SuperSativaSeed_Club @supersativaseedclub for what they do in the field of cannabis genetics! Really a strain that I would recommend to everyone! very impressive!
Week 17 from seed and 2nd week of flowering for Banana Blaze (back) Mokum's Tulip (left) and Meringue (right)
All 3 are growing well and responding fantastic to the environment. There is clearly a visible difference in size between the three of them and this is mostly due to the different mainlining techniques used.
Plants are being constantly adjusted to the ScrOG and they really respond very well (especially Banana Blaze) Very large leaves growing very fast.
From now on the effects of the neodymium magnets and ORMUS will be much more clearly noticed as the flux of water is increasing through the stem.
Will add more photos with lights closed later in the week.
So far Cropmaster is absolutely incredible. The plants are just pulling up the ScroG to go after it 😊

Day 120 from seed:
Beginning of week 3 of flowering for Mokum's Tulip, Banana Blaze and Meringue , all three strains from @DutchPassion_Official
Plants are really doing incredible under the created conditions, growing fast and healthy. Currently they are in a 1.5m2 tent, 38L air pots each, 35w Secret garden monkey fan(...I really hate it and...FFS, there are not many fan options out there, the industry has to improve!! there is a general lack of proper oscillating fans for the indoor growers), Red Scorpion extractor fan with carbon filter, Cropmaster pro 1000 led 550w on top.
All going well so far. Banana Blaze in the back, is the most advanced in flowering, followed by Meringue (right front) and Mokum's Tulip (left front)
Added some more photos day 123 from seed. All 3 got 7L of magnetically treated water mixed with ORMUS and Alga Bloom each. 21L of water entered and runoff back 3L
Day 125 from seed, they got another 7L with the same treatment. Plants are growing very rapid and healthy so far.
Week 18, 4th week of flowering
1.5m2 tent, 3 plants from @DutchPassion_Official Mokum's Tulip left front, Meringue right front and Banana Blaze back. Growing in 38L Airpots filled with Plagron Royal Mix, now getting 7L magnetically treated water mixed with Alga Bloom and once per week ORMUS.
Plants are growing through neodymium magnets oriented N pole facing up towards the 550w Cropmaster PRO 1000 led light, leaves are healthy, green and strong enjoying the environment. For more info on the lights, go check out https://www.cropmaster-led.co.uk
Finally I got my Method Seven Cultivator Led Glasses and truly, I have been missing lots until now! What an incredible difference it makes! the glasses are absolute fantastic to protect the eye (which is most important) and feels like stepping in a different world! Very comfortable! Would recommend to growers using very powerful led lights, it's a game changer! They are not cheep but worth it!! go check it out https://methodseven.com/
Will put more qualitative pictures soon! So stay tuned!👽
Week 20 from seed and 5th of flowering
The 3 Dutch Passion flowers ( Mokum's Tulip, Meringue and Banana Blaze) are growing in a 1.5m2 tent, each in 38L Airpots filled with organic soil from Plagron mixed with Diatomaceous Earth to prevent unwanted pests (so far so good, no gnats, no other demons) and developing through a neodymium magnet oriented North pole up. Plants are being fed every 2nd day with 10L magnetically treated water mixed with Alga Bloom, Green Sensation and ORMUS each.
Flowering is done under the incredible Cropmaster Pro 1000 Led 550w and I am amazed how well the plants are doing and looking - this is the 1st grow ever documented on www.growdiaries.com done under this incredible horticultural led light.
There is no single deficit or issue with the plants so far, (occult) green throughout.
Week 21 from seed and 6th of flowering:
Banana Blaze (back of the tent), Mokum's Tulip (front left) and Meringue (front right) all from @DutchPassion_Official who needs no introduction when it comes to amazing genetics, are entering week 6 of flowering. Each are grown in a 38L air pot developing through a neodymium magnet oriented North up. Every 2nd day they are each receiving 10L of magnetically treated water mixed with Plagron Alga Bloom, Green Sensation and ORMUS. Plants are growing under the incredible Cropmaster Pro 1000 550w.
This is the 1st ever documented diary on @GrowDiaries under the Cropmaster Led lights, so stay put to see what this horticultural grade lights can do! The science and the technology behind this is second to none! Go check them out https://www.cropmaster-led.co.uk/
Amazing magnetic grow so far! All 3 wonderful plants are thriving. Large trichome production already, especially on Meringue who is also the tallest.
Week 22 from seed and 7 of flowering in the Occult Magnetic Garden.
Three plants in 1.5m2 tent, growing in 38L airpots filled with Royal Mix from the Plagron; Plants are growing through neodymium magnets oriented North pole up and are fed magnetically treated water mixed with Plagron nutrients, all under Cropmaster Pro 1000 , the 550w unit.
No signs of any issues with the plants, leaves are lushes green and healthy. Each plant has a very distinctive smell and all have in common an abundance of trichomes! smell is overall sweet and pleasant. Buds are really dense and covered in trichomes spreading all the way to the fan leaves.
As it looks, plants might have another week and a half - two until harvest.
Week 23 and 8th of flowering.
Occult Magnetic Garden update - 3 plants ( Meringue [right front] Mokum's Tulip [left front] and Banana Blaze [back] all from the might Dutch Passion Seeds @DutchPassion_Official ; plants are in 38L Airpots, growing through a neodymium magnet oriented North pole facing up towards the 550w Cropmaster horticultural led light. Plants are being fed every 2nd day 7L of magnetically treated water mixed with Plagron nutrients and ORMUS.
Plants are doing absolutely fantastic. Swelling up and thriving in the created conditions. The aroma is out of this world. The carbon filter mounted on the extractor fan is doing the job while the tent is closed, but once opened, there is a sweet flavorful aroma from all three plants. Absolutely delighted with how all is going so far!
As it stands, they have another ~7 days to go, from next time, they will be fed only water.
Soon macro pictures!!
The final week for this wonderful plants. They grew well, very pleased with them.
Now plants in complete darkness with no water. All juices are building up in the flowers and in the trichoms and in my lenses 😍 this is the best part of the whole grow, indulging in trichome photography, the rest...well, the rest is only a bonus if you ask me.
Will leave you for now only with this video, better watched with sound on and next post is harvest with lots of macro shoots worth clicking on and wait to load and viewing in detail 😉
Added some more photos to the last week, next entry will be the harvest with some nice macro shoots!
Meringue from Dutch Passion was a wonderful project to observe and take care of. It was part of a three strain (Meringue, Mokum’s Tulip, Banana Blaze) - six months experiment where the plants underwent a series of different mainlining techniques and were grown through neodymium magnets oriented north pole up to assess and better understand the effects of magnetic fields on plants.
All three plants were grown in 38L air pots filled with Plagron Royal Mix and received magnetically treated water (process explained throughout the diary) mixed with Plagron organic nutrients and ORMUS.
This project of 3 plants was done in a 1.5m2 Lighthouse LITE tent under Cropmaster PRO 1000 Led 550w (absolute impressed with this horticultural LED lights, highly recommended!)
Meringue had a 15 weeks vegetative period followed by 8.5 flowering. Throughout the duration of the grow the plant never showed any deficit and was sturdy and robust. Undertook the occult toppings and bondage sessions with lots of stretching and fast recovery. The mainlining technic was aiming for 8 main colas. She was the tallest of the three plants.
The buds were dense and full of trichomes spreading even on the large fan leaves with beautiful looking nuggets with some dark hues in the leaves. Very pungent sweet fruity aroma and heavy branches, a true hybrid plant in its aspect. Was a real treat to have my lenses on her trichomes!
Gave 261g dense dry organic and sweet fragrant bud after 2 weeks of drying...now sit back, relax, light one up and enjoy some closeup photos! If you like what you see, show some appreciation and hitting the like button and checking the rest of the journal!
Mokum’s Tulip from Dutch Passion was a wonderful project to observe and take care of. Mokum’s Tulip had a 15 weeks vegetative period followed by 8.5 weeks of flowering. Throughout the duration of the grow the plant never showed any deficit and was sturdy and robust. Undertook the occult toppings and bondage sessions with medium stretching and very fast recovery. The mainlining technic was aiming for 8 main colas. She was the smallest and the bushiest of the 3 plants.
The buds were very heavy and dense, packed with lots of resinous leaves. Close to the end the buds started having darker hues and a very sweet pungent aroma. No blue shades on this one but for sure will be growing it again!
The effect is powerful yet balanced, a true hybrid with a magnificent sweet aroma and very pleasant aspect in the jar as well! would recommend!
Dry bud on scale 2g shy from 200g
Banana Blaze from Dutch Passion was a wonderful project to observe and take care of. It was part of a three strain (Meringue, Mokum’s Tulip, Banana Blaze) - six months experiment where the plants underwent a series of different mainlining techniques and were grown through neodymium magnets oriented north pole up to assess and better understand the effects of magnetic fields on plants.

Undertook the occult toppings and bondage sessions with lots of stretching and fast recovery. The mainlining technic was aiming for 16 main colas. She was the widest of the three plants and spread over the most space in the back of the tent.
Absolute unique fragrance! must have in the garden!
This project of 3 plants was done in a 1.5m2 Lighthouse LITE tent under Cropmaster PRO 1000 Led 550w (absolute impressed with this horticultural LED lights, highly recommended!)
Dry bud on the scale from Banana Blaze 259g.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
So to recap, Banana Blaze – 259g, Mokum’s Tulip 198g and Meringue 261g, a total of 718g of organically grown dry bud done in 1,5m2 tent under Cropmaster Pro 1000 Led 550w in 8.5 weeks of flowering and 15 weeks of vegetative growth.
But the Occult Magnetic Garden started with 2 more plants (if you look back in the diary), there was Auto Creeper from Super Sativa Seeds – 180g and Auto Durban Poison from Dutch Passion – 78g, which brings the total weight of the project to 976g of dry organic and fully flavored bud in 6 months. I think it is pretty sweet to have had the opportunity to look after this plants and get the chance to take some cool photos and to share this here, with the GD community! the rest is only bonus!
Anybody can do it !
Have you any doubt that the magnets oriented North side up through which the plants have been growing had no implication? You might, as through this project there was no control plants. Check my other occult diaries where you’ll better be able to see the different ways magnets can affect the plants growth cycle.
Finally finished, the 6 months Occult Magnetic Garden is done. If you have the curiosity and want to check some cool macro shoots as well, take a pick and let me know what you think! 😊
