Hey, buddy! 👋
On average, a simple carbon filter lasts about 2 months of active odor control. Usually, the size of the carbon filter and its inlet diameter correspond to the power of the exhaust fan, and the filter specifications indicate what fan power is needed and for what room volume it is suitable. After 2 months of active use and battling strong odors, the filter needs a replacement of the filler (replacement of carbon pellets). Of course, it can work for 3 or even 5 months, but the outgoing air may already have a slight foreign smell, meaning the filter is no longer 100% effective. You can service your filter yourself by buying granulated activated carbon, opening the filter, pouring out the old filler, adding new carbon, closing the filter, and DONE! - Like new! 👌
2 months of active battle against strong odors. I recommend using it during flowering, as strong odors accompany the plant in the second half of its life - during the flowering stage! 👆
Good luck, bro! ✊😇
