I got four seats from True North seed bank. Canucks seeds. One white widow, 2 King tut and 1 Obi-Wan Kush. All of them female and photosensitive. I soaked them in a glass of water for a day and a half. All of them just cracked open. I put them in Rock wool blocks all of them sprouted 3 to 5 days later. When they sprouted I watered the box with very diluted nutrients, 1/8 to 1/4 strength.

I put them in the pots exactly 2 weeks after they were put into the cup of water. I ran a hose that would drip water over the wool blocks. They seem to like that I did it for two weeks

They did well the first week in the bucket. Rude started appearing after three days and these pictures were taken one week after being put in the parts. I changed the nutrients to 1/2 strength I kept the light about 18 inches over the tops of the plants

This week went well, the weather got cooler and I put some frozen soda bottles in the reservoir. I Try to keep the water temperature under 70° I added a little vinegar to get the pH down to 6.0. A little of that goes along way. I topped the 2 King tuts.

The beginning of this week I topped, FIM, high stress and low stress training. Generally just beat them up. They sprung back very quickly. There’s a couple pictures of my FIM cuts I’m not sure what’s going to happen there, we will see I’m starting to wonder wheN I should put these in the flower. I have a SCROG grId already made I have included a video of my set up

This is halfway through this week. I put the screen down on a Saturday. I took pictures three days later on Tuesday. You can see the growth. I am thinking that I will let them vegging for another three days and then flower them. I did my first trimming of the undercarriage, I did not go to heavy but I did get a couple handfuls of leaves.

I have a problem this week. This is my last week to veg the girls. I must’ve been heavy handed with the fertilizer. At one point my water concentration and up to 1844 ppm. It is always been around that 8 to 1200 ppm range. The tips of the leaves turn brown. I put a photo in my diary. I would be very interested in any comments.Outside of that the plan screw wonderfully. I started to put them in flower today. I’m hoping to eight weeks, but we’ll see how it goes. Now the fun starts

This is the first full week in bloom. Our back the nutrient concentration down to about 750 ppm everything seems to be recovering fine. The leaves that were burnt on the edges are green and firm, but the brown edges is not going away. I don’t think it will. The new growth does not have the brown edges. I also noticed the first female hair after four days of 12/12. The 2 king Tutts are growing and stretching very quickly. The white widow is not stretching much. The OB wan Kush is not stretching a whole lot but more than the white widow.

Another good week. Knock on wood. The plants responded very well to drop in the nutrient level. This is the first and second week of the flower cycle. And starting to get some white hairs. They are girls! I decided they needed a haircut and did some major defoliation today. There’s some pictures before and after.

A week ago today I did some major defoliation. Somebody had looked at my pictures and said it look like a pile of leaves. She was right. I decided to open things up to let light on more bud sites. I went kind of nuts. But one week later and I think the plants look much better. Light gets down much deeper now. I have two King tuts one white widow and one Obi-Wan Kush. The 2 king Tutts are taking over my room. The white widow is 1/ third less the size. And the Obi-Wan Kush is turning into a runt. It’s hard to keep the king Tutts from shadowing out the other two smaller plants. I’ve tied some branches back with string to open things up some more. I’m starting to get impatient. I know I’ve got five or six weeks left. But I am sitting around the house, with the quarantine in effect. I grossly missjudged my weed consumption And I’m dry and looking at these plants. Come on May 15! That’s my potential target date.

Well this week went by slowly. However the plants look fine. They are starting to bud nicely. I am still having problems with the Obi-Wan Kush. It is a much smaller plant than my two king Tutts an even smaller than the white widow. I think my lesson here is to grow all four of the same type. I like variety but in this case my Obi-Wan Kush is just taking a beating and it’s going to be a little plant. If I was growing just the white widow or just the Obi-Wan push I probably would’ve let it veg another week or maybe even two I’m certain that the defoliation helped a lot. Light is getting down into the first 12-18 inches of the plant canopy. Before, the light was cut off right at the top And the light was Not getting into the plant. There are lots of nice bud sites going on now. Are usually check on the plants twice a day. And now I just pull a few leaves off every day If needed to make sure that light goes where I want to go. Nutrient levels seem to be working fine. They don’t seem to be needing a whole lot of nutrients. I’m a little bit gun shy of over fertilizing again. I keep the nutrients at about 800 ppm. All in all I’m happy with where things are.

The week was gone very well until yesterday. I happen to check on the girls when the lights came on I noticed one of my two lamps were out. A bulb burnt. It is only two months old. I bought it online and delivery on everything from this company is out over two weeks. They are closed for the pandemic. Surprisingly, a local hydroponic store where I bought my fans and air scrubbers from was open. The guy cut me a solid and $85 later I am back in business. The girls just had one night with one light. I don’t think one cloudy day will hurt them They’re budding nicely, I just pick a few leaves every now and then to get some light to specific buds.

another good week went by. No catastrophes. The new lightbulb I bought is a 3000 K to replace a 3100 K that went out a week ago. I’ll be honest, the Bulb that went out was an inexpensive Bulb that came with my lights. The light I replaced it with is a Philips brand. I don’t know if it’s the difference between 3000 and 3100, or the difference in the quality of the bulb. But the Phillips is noticeably whiter and brighter I will replace the other original Bulb before the next crop. Had a little issue with nutrients. The king Tutts tad bit of burning on the leaves. I immediately watered down my solution. The white widow and the Obi-Wan Kush showed no sign of burning. Another reason to grow the same strain at once instead of several strains under the same system. By the way, I don’t think I’m gonna grow crops this summer because it’s just too hot in the south . I would have to air condition my room separately from the house. It has been expensive. So I’ll start a new crop in the fall. I’ve always used Canuck seeds and been very happy with them. I would be open to something new. I would be very curious as to suggestions as what’s a good strain for this falls crop that is good quality and good yield. Nothing big just the magic seeds we are all looking for. 😊😊 I think I am at least two weeks out. We’ll see. It’s a slow train coming......

Generally this was a good week. The new Phillips bulb that I put in two weeks ago definitely is more powerful than the old Knock off bulb. It started to burn some of the leaves nearest the bulb early in the week. I raised the bulb about 6 inches and I don’t seem to have that problem now. I also got my power bill for last month. $125! That’s great for me in a house. Last crop cost me an extra $150 a month to run an air conditioner in the summer. I don’t think I’ll do that this year. The other issue I had was with my total dissolved solids meter. I noticed that the numbers seem to be very low this week. I replaced the battery and my numbers went up by 50%! That was a big difference. This could explain why I burned my plants a couple weeks ago. Live and learn. Outside of those small setback things are going very well I’m hoping to have this thing done in about a week or week and a half. The smell of the crop is nice but not overpowering. In my last two grows I had to cut it short because of smell issues in my neighborhood. Last time my neighbor from across the street came over and asked if we had a skunk under the house. I had to yank everything that day. This time I invested $750 in two huge carbon scrubbers. They are working great i’m going to let these babies go as long as I need to. I’ve got my microscope ready!

Hi ho! I am getting close to harvest. Probably a week away or so. On each plant there are about three or four Spears that will mature first. Do any of you harvest those who first and then wait for the lower buds to mature for an extra few days or a week?

Hey :-) Look with a microscope 👌If the trichome heads are about 70% milky and 30% clear, you can start with the flush. If the trichomes are about 70% milky and 30% amber, it is a very good time to harvest 👍🙏🏻 but do not pay attention to the leaves of the trichomes on the buds 👍

hey there, yeah for sure, with so few plants you really just want the most out of it, and this way is the only way to really assure that.... cure and dry everything except the fan leafs then make sure you have what you need to make hash, even the smallest trim can be used, and it's a great thing to get your own bubble hash really. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Hi there, for me it depends on how much they are behind and how big they are, whether i first top the bigger colas or not. If they don't seem to be far behind, or aren't very big, then i just cut the whole plant, but if they're rather substantial in size, and still need a week, then the main ones will come off first. happy growing.. or in this case harvesting! :)

OK, we’re getting pretty damn close. I definitely toasted a couple of the taller spears with a new lightbulb. The damage seems to be to the fan leaves and some of the sugar leaves, the buds seem to be spared of any damage. I reduce the nutrients to zero to flush yesterday. I’m hoping they’ll be ready to harvest in a couple three days. The tricombs are still Mostly white and clear, very little if any brown yet. I figure I’ll wack them at 50-50 brown Here is a question for some more experienced growers that might read this. I have read that when buds are light stressed they will make a bud on a bud. I’ll put a couple pictures of this here. Is this what they are talking about? Peace,Take care of each other, and give me the patience to last another week.

OK, here we are on week 18 since I put the seeds in a glass of water. This grow is taking a week or two longer than I thought it would. In hindsight, I could’ve vegged them a week less But still, it’s taking forever for these buds to mature. The tricombs on the tops of the taller Spears are about 50% brown as of this morning. I’m thinking of harvesting them this evening. But all the lower buds are still either all white or white and clear. They’ve definitely gotten heavier this week. The Spears in the far back of my room that I can’t reach have fallen over. Nothing I can do but just sit and watch and wait on those. I put my two fans running on them to make sure that they get plenty of air circulation through the canopy. Next time I’m going to use two sets of nets one above the other to keep the top from falling down I’ve been running clear water for the last six days. I might’ve started a bit early on that. I did that intentionally because I had overfertilized a month or so ago. Last week I learned about fox tailing from another member I have noticed moderate fox tailing in several of the top spears. I think the damage is pretty much aesthetics only. I don’t think I have damaged the actual buds. I might have evaporated off some of the lighter Turpines though. Today is Friday, I’ll probably clip a couple of the taller beers tonight and then do the majority of the harvesting on Sunday night. We’ll see how they look then. How come the future takes such a long long time? See you next week! Stay safe!

OK, well tostart with was disappointed in my quantity. I got only 6 ounces off of the big Spears. I got another ounce of popcorn bags. And I got a bunch of shake for cooking. Very disappointing. However, the quality is extraordinary. You can zoom in on the last picture and see the crystals. The king tut is a great strain. It grows big puts out nice buds. The white widow was overshadowed by the two big plants and did not produce anywhere near as potential. However the weed is very good. The buds are rock hard. Ryobi one Kush was the smallest of the four plants. It was just way over shaded. However, it could be the stoniest of the three strains. Well I’m gonna start again in the fall to plan for a Christmas harvest. I’ll post my next program. Thanks for following! Stay safe
