LSD White Auto Feminised NOOB

My 15 litre container can only use about 8 litres in the reservoir so the nutrients were 4ml each of Micro, Grow, Bloom & CalMag (all from Advanced) I have ayyempted about 6 grows now & had all sorts of troubles due to my inexperience. Plants too high, root rot, too close to LEDs etc. I nearly gave up but hopefully this one will make it all worthwhile

Same nutrients as first week - 0.5ml/Litre of Advanced Micro, Grow, Bloom & CalMag. I religiously change water every 7 days. So far all water has been runoff from my portable A/C. Not much to see here...Luckily as my 'dinosaur' laptop did number twos & I lost a chunk of the hard drive which just happened to be my personal diary. I think the pics are back from day 17.

Seemed top go well & increase its size somewhat. I doubled all the nutrients this week to 1ml per Litre(I changed the water at start of wk 3(day 15). Last day of this week(day 21) I noticed the first white pistils had appeared & decided this can be the start of my bloom cycle. So up until this week there has been no requirements to replenish the reservoir water. The PPM readings seem to range between 560 & 660 & PH is often perfect at 5.8 Started LST about beginning of this week with pipe-cleaners

So 12ml each of Micro, Gr😂w, Bl😜😐m & CalMag. Started LST from around day 21 or just beginning week 4. Used cheap 30 cm colored pipecleaners from Officeworks & these were a ver useful length. I tied the stems down to the little holes in the mesh-pot lid (but did not thread them through the matching holes in the pot itself. This way the plant moves autonomously with the lid giving much more freedom to add water/nutes etc. Using this I managed to keep this plant down to ~16" where the stem length may have been 24"

Going well. Height of plant is about 12" (approximately 6" taken off with LST)

All nutes are at full strength now or 2ml per litre(16ml per 8 litres on water change) excepte CalMag which I left at 1ml per Litre or 8ml total (this is apparently fairly essential if using LEDs to grow. Vertical growth should halt here. 14" is closest part of canopy to the light. Most is at ~15". Added 'Big Butt' at 2ml per litre cos I want some massive butt...l..with me it's about budget....I would have a regimen of 10 different nutrients(including the ones I have e.g. b-52, overdrive, Bud Candy etc. My minimal funds tend to dictate the amount of nutrients I could add as they seem to pay for themselves from what I have read - They seem expensive but if used properly they cover a few plants Anyway I have never made it this far before & am so excited that this might be the one 🙏. I might just finish this up & go rub one out right now. Bye

I ended up changing the fairly minimally sized reservoir at day 49(technically week 7). Added the usual 2ml per litre of Micro, Grow & Bloom(PH Perfect) with addition of 2ml per litre of Big Butt. Also about 1.5ml per litre CalMag,. I have left the halo sprinkler on a timer & it gos for about 15 mins every hour though I assume this is not necessary as I have an air stone & bubbler going 24/7. Lots of white pistils now & pretty flowers all over. Under a microscope there are lots of clear trichomes on the leaves, Nearly a disaster as my leaves seemed to be getting 'rust spots' everywhere & it seemed to be spreading quickly. Research led me to the conclusion that I had two problems - Calcium deficiency & Nutrient Burn as the tips of my leaves were browning & curling upwards. I halved all Nutrients to 1 ml per litre but doubled the CalMag to 2ml per litre(was only using 1.5ml per litre before). My PPM was 1500 so I tried topping up with plain water at first but I think I had what they call nutrient lock out & this didn't seem to be slowing the spread of babyshit brown. I then flushed my reservoir with tap water & refilled it with half of the Nutrient strength. Fingers crossed as it looks better now & the PPM has been steady over 12 hours or so at 800. See pic of sick leaves above. Also I would not recommend Hanna PH meters - I have had two, one of them was new & they are shit considering their price. I have ordered a different 'cheapy' & will keep u posted. Strips till then

I finally solved my 'rust spots' problem. My PH meter was fucked & gave me a reading of 5 so I added heaps of PH up & locked out calcium for one but maybe others. I have borrowed a good PH meter until I get one & thank God or whoever. Much happier now. Would have lost some but nothing worse than having no idea why. I guess that is why they call it PH Perfect.....duh! It is all part of the education I suppose. I assumed my fairly new Hanna PH meter wouldn't shit itself for the expense....Now I rely on a $5 job & feel much more secure about it.. So we are back on track almost. Any yield would be fantastic at nonent. She's picking up rhough...well judt have to see won't we. It;;s so exciting I think. I think I will go rub one out Changed to plain water on day 60 (PHed to ~6) then decided that it was still filling out & added nutrients to it...Glad I did as there are still quite a few white pistils still & the bud is starting to look rather good. I have included a picture which shows a bud at day 62 & day 63 to try & demonstrate how much it swelled over about 12 hours. You can see some of the pistils have shrivelled & the bud has become plumper.

Got sick of waiting for 'Flawless Finish' to arrive in the mail but noticed that trichomes were very gradually changing to amber on some colas. Very small percentage, maybe 1-2 %. Apparently this is a good time to harvest so I decided to change out the water (all 7.5 litres of it). I replaced it with water that was runoff from my portable ac & PHed it to 6.0. All seems well at day 65 & I now have a PPM of ~150 & the PH seems pretty steady at 6.2 Harvested right on the 70 day or 10 week mark. I have dried the bud & am curing it now but at the end of drying I had close to 60g (say 2ounces). I may have sampled a little but only minimally for quality control purposes. I currently have 40g of head that has been curing for about a week. I think it looks as if it would smoke pretty clean (the 'Flawless Finish' arrived at the last minute so I used it (2ml per Litre for a few hours prior to harvest). It does taste clean already & it is potent as expected. It stinks....Nice! I grew it in a 0.6m X 0.6m X 1.4m tent with a 300w LED. This means my grow area is 0.6 X 0.6 metres squared or 0.36 square meters. The breeder says 300-400 grams per square meter & I have a touch over a third of a meter so 100-133g is the expected yield & I got about half this. I realise this is a smallish yield but considering my PH problems (not to mention my 'brown' thumb - everything I touch turns to shit) I am just happy getting something. My first positive result, I'm a happy man.😃
