The plants were selected today and a thorough soaking of the pot has been given. I am also running a six-shooter which will be joining them for a while, about 14 days ahead of these two. She's really taking off. I selected the Memphisto 'Man Bear Alien Pig' and Critical Mass Collective's 'Sour Melon Mass'. Both these plants seem really interesting and I'm really looking forward to seeing what they have to offer. All plants will be grown in an 8 litre auto-pot system using 100% organic Biotabs nutrients under LED lights. They will be given plain water continuously unless I have stated otherwise. All plants were soaked with boom boom spray today, and the fan was turned on.. I will post pictures either tomorrow or the day after when they have all recovered from their initial soaking. They're looking a bit confused right now which I knew would happen. I'm pony-tailing the older Six Shooter which I'll take pictures of tomorrow as well, just until the canopy is relatively even. Then I'll probably do some intense LST. I plan to top and main-line the two this diary is documenting, as well as defoliation whenever its needed. I want to keep them quite neat and also keep humidity down when possible. Planning to run the bio-tabs startup pack and PK tea .Will probably get the PK booster too, because why not. Thanks for looking guys! :)

Here we are, the younger girls on day 11 today. I had a horrible incident with the MBAP, I dropped the pot and she came out, all the dirt, everywhere. I've managed to do what I can, and sprayed the hell out of her with boom boom spray - hopefully she will live. I'm quietly confident. Six Shooter is coming along nicely, nothing by way of explosive growth yet but I feel we are a few days away from that. I think she's around day 20. I'm going to put her in the Autopot system early next week, when I finish my harvest of the Critical Kush. Gave all the plants the recommended soaking of bactrex and orgatrex and stuck the biotabs in all - a bit late perhaps for the six shooter and a tad early for the younger girls but it really doesn't matter too much at all. They all seem pretty content in their homes at the minute. I'm going to give the younger girls another week then put them in the system too, probably around day 17.

Been super busy so missed out last week. The pots have been placed in the Autopot system and turned on. Growth has exploded in the last couple of days. I had a few days of 18c temperatures while I was away - I left the window open by mistake. I then snapped one of the main tops of the topped Sour Melon, but she seems like she's not bothered at all. They've all had a feeding of Orgatrex & Baxtrex, and I'll be giving the Six Shooter her first dose of PK tea at the weekend as she gears up for the flowering stage.. I've also stopped doing anymore LST to the Six Shooter as she now has quite a few tops and to be honest I've ran out of room even with heavy defoliation to train her. I always seem to over-train and end up with quite 'short' buds so perhaps this will mitigate that issue. Overall pretty happy with the growth of them all so far, and each of them have taken some big mistakes (the MBAP got completely unearthed about 10 days ago) but they have all soldiered on. The MBAP got a lovely open structure about her which I really like, haven't seen a plant this open before. The Sour Melon isn't meant for topping, she's not too sure how to feel about it, but I'll still end up with about 12 solid tops on her before she starts flowering I reckon. They have all been heavily defoliated, I've tried to take a fan leaf from every growth tip on each plant. Not showing much slowing down really. Definitely worth doing to keep things from getting out of control. Wlil do my best to keep updating every weekend, will try and post this Sunday and thereonafter. Cheers!

They are now a month old! They have had a pretty heavy start to their lives, the MBAP was unearthed about 10-12 days ago and you wouldn't even know it, and my rough hands have snapped quite a few branches of the Sour Melon, and she's cracking on without complaining too! Will give these both the dignity of another run with a more careful hand when training. I think mainlining is the way to go with my autos in this particular cabinet. I could fit 3 in here if I kept it tight. Not much to report, been defoliating then spraying with Boom Boom. The Six Shooter is turning into flower mode now as she enters week 7 - will be feeding her a nice and strong PK boost tea tomorrow or Wednesday evening, and give the others their strong 'week 5' feeding with Orgatrex & Bactrex. No marks on the plants of note, some of the new SS growth is twisted. Will have to find out why that is. The SS flowering could be a bit more further forward but that's probably because she's in a 15l pot and so taking a bit longer to properly fill it out. I expect the flowers to start developing properly after this PK boost. I would expect some smell to start following shortly, there's not too much so far. UPDATE 6/1: The younger girls loved their feeding and have proceeded to explode in growth, both vegetative and flower wise. The MBAP seems to have slowed down, so I imagine she will be entering her last few days of vegetation. I'm trying to get the canopy as even as possible in these last few days. The Sour Melon is a bit further behind bud development wise, but she has taken the mainlining in her stride and looks like I'll have a few nice neat tops on her. The Six Shooter has entered flower mode now, I have her a PK tea a few days ago so hopefully we'll see the flowers starting to fill out soon as they don't look particularly developed at the minute considering her age. The MBAPs flowers are further along and she's about 2 weeks younger. Maybe it's the smaller pot size? Going to give them all a final defoliation session this weekend and then leave them to it.

Girls are looking good. The MBAP is going really quickly, she's flowering at an extortionate rate. I'm unsure if this is because she wasn't topped & Mainlined or if that's just her genetics, as the Sour Melon appears to be quite far behind budding wise. The MBAP really is a budding machine, I'm going to get my gf to take proper pics of them next week for everyone to see. Not much to report, most of the training has finished now on all plants, will do one more defoliation session on the Six Shooter, and 1-2 more on the younger 2, and possibly a bit of tying and tidying up on the younger ones too. Gave all 3 girls a good dose of PK tea the other day and my Bio-PK booster has just arrived from Biotabs, so I'll be adding this in with my weekly PK boost watering. Apart from that, they will be on strictly plain water all the way through to harvest. As you can see, we've got a baby Green Crack, Masszar Haze CBD & Sour Melon on the way as 1 day old babies as well, I'll be doing a separate diary for them. 12/1 update: nothing much more to report, did a defoliation on all plants, the Six Shooter for the final time, and didn't spray them with any recovery spray. The 2 younger girls are drinking several lirres of water a day. The MBAP's flowers really smells absolutely incredible. I'm disappointed by how far behind the Sour Melon is. Worryingly, there isnt much frost on the Six Shooter, who is probably about 2-3 weeks away from harvest. I'll be giving her a strong PK tea this weekend, her second-to-last one. I like to give the final one about 10 days before I harvest, as I harvest the tops and then leave the bottom half to develop for a further 3-5 days. The new girls are about 3 days old. I have started a separate diary for them.

FIRST WEEK OF FLOWERING, 16/1: Six Shooter was given another PK tea combined with some Biotabs Bio-PK. I anticipate her harvest to be about 2 weeks away. I'll probably feed her another heavy tea next week and then take it from there as to if she can fit one more sneaky one in. I would ideally like to give her a week of nothing in between, before harvest, even though we're completely organic and could go right up to the chop. The younger girls - well, the MBAP is stacking on the flowers now, she's in full steam ahead mode, very very hairy, very very frosty and smells absolutely off the chain incredible. Like a sweet, sweet haze. Which is weird because of the genetics, but I'm not complaining. The Sour Melon is much further behind development wise but I'm putting this down to genetics. She was very resilient in vegetating, but flower-wise is where the true genetics really shine and I feel she leaves a bit to be desired. However, much could change - she could be a late bloomer. I'll reserve judgement. Overall, pretty happy with how things are going. I've put all 3 girls in the same cabinet now to make room for the new little girls coming through, which there is a separate diary for. NB: the pictures make the leaves look yellow when the flash is on. They are all actually a lush green. 21/1 update: Gave them all another haircut a couple of days ago as things were getting very busy and bushy once again. Fed them another PK tea today before leaving them for a few days. I forgot to take some updated pics of the MBAP but she's getting VERY frosty. I'll have some new pics of her in next week's update. It seems the topping on the Sour Melon was a good shout - She's got loads of decent sized colas starting to come through now. Maybe that's what I'll do from now on!

24/1 - Week 8 now, about day 51. Everything chugging along well. Given them all PK teas with bio PK added in. Figured the earlier I could get in the good bacteria's the better for bud and terpene development! Going to dose the Six Shooter with one more and then that's her done, and going to leave the younger 2 girls for a week or so before giving them their next one. Their leaves tell me I went a tad overboard. The MBAP has a ridiculous smell to her, and she's swelling up nicely . I would describe it as a sweet haziness early on but as it develops it gains a funky edge - going to do more detail on the smell a bit later on during the week. You can see which buds, even if it's a case of inches, are more developed than others on the MBAP - some .are a bit more hairy than others. I'm going to give her another defoliation tomorrow. She's frostier than the Six Shooter and 2 weeks behind. The Sour Melon has astounded me with how well she's come on - proving me wrong with my earlier predictions - the topping I feel has really been beneficial, as well as the defoliation - her bud sites are swelling and it looks as though I'll have some nice, long, dense colas. Touch wood. Not so much aroma yet, and only a touch of frost developing. She's gorgeous, though. And a real trooper. The Six Shooter has been defoliated and I'm considering one more but I feel it's too late. Perhaps just 5-6 of the worst culprits and do a hell of a lot of leaf tucking and gentle LST to open her up slightly to allow more airflow. Some nice aromas coming from her when rubbed, a strong, sweet, fresh, 'dank' pine-like incense aroma. Very nice. Will do more on that later. Buds aren't huge, nor chunky, but look rather dense and frosty. I feel I did too much LST, especially on the secondary branches. I should have just aimed for 8-12 heads and let her grow up. Experiences for next time! The random small ladies are some seeds I popped in there. Just seeing how long I can keep them alive for using plain water and an occasional top-dressing watering-in of Ecothrive Charge & some Biotabs bits!

1/2 - approaching day 60. All 3 well into flowering now. The Six Shooter has about 10 days to go, fed her a nice PK boost about 3 days ago. Going for plain water from now until harvest. Her pistils are starting to turn red and shrink back, so I am anticipating a final swelling and then the chop. I gave all 3 of them a nice haircut to reduce humidity a bit and just allow for some room as all 3 are now in the same closet to make way for 2 new babies - a Blue Dream x Tangie by Fastbuds and a CBD Crack by fastbuds. The Sour Melon is the furthest behind (about 3-4 weeks to go) but is really surprising me with her neat, tight structure and her response to the topping and mainlining she went through (well, sort of anyway). She's not throwing out the resin but she is looking nice. The Man Bear Alien Pig is about 2-3 weeks away, absolutely covered in frost, I have never seen such frost on a plant I have grown before. The smells are incredible, too. More funk now, less lemon/sweet. She's not as dense as I had hoped so I've put her next to the fan for now to try and get some wind through her.

10/02 - I was going to harvest the SS this weekend but due to a lack of amber trichomes I'm going to let her run a final week. She's also doing some last minute swelling which is great. I should have fed her some PK in retrospect last week but it's too late now. No worries though. The MBAP will also be harvested next weekend. I'm nto sure why she's not dense - every grow i"ve seen of her has seemed very dense and she started out so promising. Her smell has also changed, died down a little - its more funk and chemical now than sweet and sugary. Still frosty as hell, though. The Sour Melon is coming along nicely although as pictured there are yellow tips to all the leaves which makes me think I might have overdone the PK with her, or she's particularly sensitive. I've also raised the light a few inches in case that was causing her stress. All in all, pretty pleased thus far.
