'Tis The Season! The kind guys over at Royal Queen Seeds liked my first diary that I made last year and asked if I would like some more seeds. Well duh! They sent me quite the care package with some dry nutes in them as well. So I thought the first 2 grows this season I will try a little RQS experiment. I have 2 diaries involving this strain running at the moment. One is using the dry nutes that RQS gave me which will be about 40-45g of their Easy Boost which is mixed in the substrate and should last around 11-12 weeks. I also received some tabs to dissolve in water which I will probably use to add some extra during blooming The other is going to be running liquid nutes. Both started off in the same 11L cloth pot (again thx RQS) with plagron lightmix and a plagron seedmix in the middle so I don't have to transplant this time. They both have received root boost. They are currently sitting under 2x36watt tube CFL and window solar power until the outdoor temps are ok for them to survive. Dry germed first but Liquid gained up on him. Second set of leaves are showing and both seem happy as they are 'praying to the sun' I won't name the pics by days this time. CBA. they are in chronological order

Dry nute plant is going strong. You can almost see it grow. Added some silic cause it aint cheating! For the time being I am pretty enthousiastic about the dry nutes if it keeps going this way I will definitely do another cycle with them. Sunlight is finally there and the plants seem to like it. Had to create a shield from chicken fence so the house tigers do not eat the plant and another shield from tin foil so the sun does not boil the roots. Other than that no complaints. Might start up LST next week or the week after.

Very good week. She grew double in size. Still doing CFL + sunlight combo to get the needed hours. Outside is still too cold. Cat struck again though. Chomped down on 5 leaves even with the friggin net around it. Added some more netting which is cumbersome but don't want anymore leaves to be chomped on. Think she got a bit stressed by it because growth today was quite less Started LST. Much heavier than last time I did this and really trying to go for the verticallity. So height of the plant is actually how long vertical it is. Already noticed 2-4 hairs. lezgo!

Good week again. Added the growth booster from RQS but it is still on GD with the previous brand name(i think). Took a while to completely dissolve in the water. Water turned dark brown but no distinct smell. Still have about a liter left which I plan to give her over the next week. Might be last veg feed, not sure yet. Growth is slowing down a bit but its going into the branches more it seems so keeping an eye on it. Lst is a bitch to control. will look into scrog next time. Cat is a fucking ass. Still managed to chomp some leaves. Changed chicken wire to new one and made it so it shouldn't happen again (again).

Most of the stretch is gone so for me that means officially into flower. Gave her the rest of the grow booster tablet solution and switched to the bloom booster tablets. Had some purple stems on the fan leaves and the most lower fan leaves were showing some ugle green color and shriveling at the tip. Think I let her dry out too much. This soil is quite different than the one I had last year. Doesn't retain water that well. Wether thats good or bad I can't say. Been moving them outside during the day and in the evening back inside under the CFL. Sun is having way more impact then the CFL at this moment but a light is better than no light? I could leave them out at night but the temp is still not ideal. So I just keep moving them inside. Loads of time these days anyway... Continued LST and Leaf Tucking. Freed up some fan leaves now that bud sites are above them. Hoping 'the fattening' will be starting soon, already saw the faintest of trichomes forming and the cheese smell is starting to get there. Big diff between the 2 plants on how they look to be honest. Weird.

Steady as she goes. Growth is clearly in flowering phase. Trichs were visible in the beginning of the week and now omnipresent. No LST this week accept some tugging. Branches are getting pretty stiff. Lots of sun this week. Just had to keep her on the window sill for 2 days + cfl because of cold and rain. runoff and EC ok. The plant is about half the size of the liquid fed one and I don't know what the cause of this is. Is it purely pheno related? I don't really mind the size difference but since I am comparing the 2 feeding ways I am genuinely wondering why this is. Really curious if I will taste the difference.

Buds swelling up nicely. Lots of frost. lots of stickyness. Lots of smell lowered ph a bit. Trying to get the nighttime temperature down cause I read somehwere it enhanced trich/terpene production. pulled out the new usb microscope straight outta China. Worth every penny imo (was 10 bucks). don't use the added led light because it will light up your trich making them look all milky while they aren't Still pretty new on checking trichs. For me some are looking milky but the majority is still translucent. Any input on this will be appreciated As it looks i will be doing 1 more week of feed for sure, then check trichs again and maybe start up 2 weeks of flushing. Wonder if I should still add molasses during flushing?

Would you say her trichs are cloudy or clear based on pics in week7 of my diary? Still trying to gauge this. online examples don't give me a definitive answer. To me they are 'getting there'. I am planning on 1 more week feed. Check again. start flushing 2 weeks, chop. Cheers!

Mostly cloudy with a chance of clearing... Yeah most are cloudy and a few clear you are on the right path. Helps to just look at the heads if you can get the angle on them, looking with the leaf behind can be misleading. Not enough to really hurt but you know. 👍

Shitty weather wooooooop, too cold and too rainy. they have been sitting inside mostly near the window with the CFL as support. Not ideal but I'd rather have less bud than rotten bud. That being said they are fattening up nicely. Trich show more milk and the occasional amber (only saw 2 to be honest). Lower nodes are still pretty clear and still have lots of white pistils. I am thinking 1 more week of feed then start the 2 weeks of flushing. Having a hard time watering them evenly with all the LST straps. Expecting a tiny watering can one of these days to get that even watering job.

not much to say. buds are still ripening i think about 60 procent of trichs are milky. some are still cleara and i am having the ocassional amber. I am going to start cutting nutes. Next week only molasses to get the rest out of the soil after that just water.

weather please, what are you doing. Cold and overcast so no outside no sunshine nothing. its turning again and next week i am chopping for sure. Flushing her. First watering was still with molasses now just water Lower leaves are turning light green already. Also, aphids! fuck them. I have pretty extensive garden and although I was aware of a tiny infestation on the roses a week ago I was like 'I'll spray next weekend' Boy oh boy did they multiply alright. The fight against the aphids on the roses was won but not before the airborn aphid troops infiltrated the the growing area. Luckily I nipped it in the bud (hehehehehe) and didn't have to resort to any pesticides or whatever. I am monitoring them closely. Mostly removing leaves and shock treatment with garlic concentrate. Anyway, i clipped a nug that I was eyeballing for the past 3 weeks. It just stood up like a rose/lollypop. I trimmed it and it is drying as I type this. I'm sure there won't be as much weed on her compared to my plants last year but it's going to be of better quality. no microshots this week. I forgetti. but trichs are 25% amber 65% milk 10% clear

The only downside from this grow was the size of the plant. Everything else from sprout 'till harvest was smooth sailing.
