23/3/2020-day 11 Veg has started for all plants. Bertha(#1) - 3cm Juanita(#2) - 2cm Megan(#3) - 2cm 24/3/2020 - day 12 Status Update So my original plan of using Biotabs wont work as the package wont arrive due to corona I think. So I am gonna substitute it with using a Mycorrhizal fungi for the root and a Nitrate booster for the veg. And maybe for the flowering add a P-K booster. If biotabs do arrive, I'll flush the system and then apply the Biotabs. Bertha seems to have slowed down a wee bit on the growth rate as compared to the Juanita and Megan. Or maybe M and J just sped up their growth rate haha. 26/3/2020- day 14 Transplanted plants from a cup into pots. Watered with some fish amino acid and added myco to the soil. Soil was a bit dry forw two plants as i left the bag open for quiet a long time. Added a co2 bag. 29/3/2020-day 17 started lst on both Bertha and Juanita. Megan is a weeee bit behind. Gonna get her upto speed with some nitrogen booster water Week 2 of veg 1/4/2020-day 19 Found out that the ph of of my soil was slightly acidic(6.0) from the beginning and adding my nitrogen nutrition made the soil a little bit too acidic(5.3ish). Ran some ph 6.5 water thru the soil and collected the run off. Runoff was at 5.91, so I ph balanced the water with some BS and watered with a ph water of 7 and some more nitrogen nutrient. Hopefully will bring my soil ph back to normal. Lst is going good on both Bertha and Juanita. Megan's a little bit behind so I guess I'll do the lst in a day or two depending on how much progress she makes. 2/4/2020- Day 20 Watered with the rest of the ph balanced nutrient water. 3/4/2020 - Day 21 Redid the lst on all plants. Was low Stressing them a bit wrong. Did it properly now. Juanita was completely bent with regards to her stalk. Undid her lst. Gonna let her grow a bit straight for a few days and then gonna re do her lst. Crapchulla'd her today. Hope it doesn't stress her too much :( 5/4/2020 Day 22 Properly did the lst with some bamboo sticks. Saw a few of the leaves have some white stuff on it. Dont know if its the trichomes or what. Watered with ph 7 water and fish nutrient with molasses and some myco. Prepping them for the auto pot. Will turn it on in a few days.

Hi, When you doing LST it's very important to Hold some how bottom of the main steam with some stive component, (i'm usuing electric cable 3 x 2,5 and i take wires from inside), bacouse when plant is growing it's can brake the main branch and you can lose all plant. 9/4/2020- day 26 3rd week of veg Tried to turn on the auto pot today but didn't work. Pipes leaked. Will turn them on tomorrow. Bumped up the light output from 600ppfd to 1000ppfd. Will keep an eye out for temp rise and light stress on plants. Currently pumping out 3.6moles of light/hr on a 18hr schedule. Works out to 64.8 moles with a bag of co2 hanging. Will introduce more co2 bags this week to handle all this light. Light increase was given at the 9.5hr mark for today. Plants will recieve a DLI of (2.52 x 9.5hr) + (3.5.6 x 8.5hr) = 54.54moles. If they dont show any signs of light saturation today, I'll bump the ppfd down to 850 to keep the dli at 54.54 and later increase it to said 64.8 when I get the co2 bags. 10/4/2020 - day 27 No light stress. Keeping ppfd at 900. Will bump it to 1200 next week. Might bring my light a bit closer. The heat off my lights arnt a lot so hopefully will not get the heat stress either. Turned on the autopot. Plants seem to take it alright. Smell from my réservoir is absolutely horrendous 😂 shouldn't have added the fish amino acid there. Will drain the autopot tomorrow and manually feed the nutrient lol. This shit is annoying af hahahahaha

Start of week 4 11/4/2020 Day 28 So I turned off the autopot to clean the reservoir of the stinky FAA. Ill manually add the FAA now two more times before she goes into flowering. I'll add 2ml per ltr so basically increase the dosage given per time. Added a bit of bloom booster to Megan and Juanita to see if it makes any difference in their growth rate. If it does, I'll add some to megan next. Also watered all plants. 12/4/2020 - Day 29 Autopot still off. Been giving them way too much ppfd for veg time. Lowered it a bit to allow them to stretch a bit. Juanita is showing a little bit of light burn. No feeding today. Will give them no feed for the next 4 days. 13/4/2020- Day 30 All plants showing signs of pre flowering. Bertha by far is the biggest plant i have till now. Must be a strong pheno. Gave them all a heathy dose of kelp spray. Will be adding them into the small aquavalve reservoir till they are done flowering. Will shut off autopot again soon to give them all a flower booster by the end of the week. Hopefully around 16th/17th depending on how big they all get. 15/4/2020 - Day 32 Turned off auto pot to give all the girls some flower booster. Juanita showed signs of minor tip burn. Probably from all the nitrogen I gave was a lot and due to her coming upto flowering, she got nitrogen burn.

Another one related to my lst. So i got the hang of doing lst. I started off really early with all on the lst. The plant is fairly close to the ground. Can I undo the lst and let them grow a bit tall and then re do the lst later? Or leave it as it is and let them grow as is?

Hi @xHSxMonki you can do it in the 2 ways, but if you undo, the stems will probably want to stretch it more up side and lose the shape you want to give him with LSt. I would let it grow as it is. good luck mate 👍

-----Start of week 1 flower---- 17/4/2020 Day 34 They are a bit shorter than I'd like, probably because of the heavy LST being done to them. Added 1.5gs of flower fuel NPK 1-32-34 along side some bloom booster to Bertha and Juanita. Autopot still off. Will turn on when this feed goes down. 22/4/2020 Day 39 Added 1.5gs of flower fuel NPK 1-32-34 and some myco to all. Autopot was off for the feed for a day. Turned on again after feeding. 23/4/2020 day 40 Nothing much to report. -----End of week 1 flower----

I use autopots which bottom feed my plants. I am starting to feed them flower Fuel NPK 1-34-32. Its recommended to be top fed 1.5gs per 3ltrs of water. So my question is, can I add 1.5g to the small reservoir which is located where my aquavalve is instead of top feeding them?

I'd say yourself some money and nutrients and start smaller see how it goes then build up... So like try 0.5 Grams in the Aquavalve see what happens. And by the third week you'll using the 1.5 grams and then start tapering off again at fifth. so seventh week you are no longer feeding the extra p-k. based on a 8 week flower type situation of course.

-----Start of week 2 flower---- 28/4/2020 Day 45 Did some lst work to even out the canopy. They seem to be growing pretty nicely. Seems like they are ready to get bigger and start fruuuiiiitttinnnn 😊 😊 😊 😊 Also gave all 3 plants roughly 0.5g of flower fuel mixed with 15ml of water using a syringe to the top of the soil. It's getting harder to feed them as they are filling out the pot. Dunno how I'll be giving them flower Fuel next time around. Will give them all a healthy bloom booster and water the top next week i guess when they all stretch a bit more and i get more space to feed them in the bottom. 3/4/2020 Day 50 All the babies doing really good. Tons of bud sites. Hopefully they stretch up a bit now and get fat fat 😊 Nutrient feed is i dunno atm 😂 can't top feed my nutrients anymore because of the canopy being so thick 😂 will "try" to give them a dose of flower fuel again soon. Lets see whats up ✌️

------Start of Week 3----- 5/5/2020 Day 52 So all the plants are showing signs of nutrient deficiency. Last feed of nutrients was on day 39. I think I have a calcium deficiency too. Fed all plants 3 out of 5ltr of water which was mixed with 4gs of Flower Fuel. To each ltr I then added a bit more flower fuel. Then added half a liter of water divided amongst all 3 into their small reservoir. Added bloom booster to the top too. Autopot turned off. Will be top feeding water from now on for the next few days due to the bloom booster being added to the soil. This round the pot lst is good but very crappy as it basically renders my top feeding useless. I think the round the pot lst I did was a bit too excessive. 8/5/2020 day 55 (day 4) Gave all three girls a biiig dose of calmag due to their calmag deficiency. Doseage was about 5ml/L and was fed about 1.3ltrs each. Hopefully this will clear any future calmag issue. Will be feeding them calmag with nutrients again next week on day 2. They were heavily fed with nutrients yesterday due to any nutrients not being recieved. Bertha showed classic sign of calmag deficiency the most. Hopefully any new growth will not show any more signs of deficiencies. Autopot reservoir was ph'd and had about 20ml of calmag added to the tank (tank at 60ltrs) The smell in the tent is strong. The buds themselves smell fucking amazeballs. Its taking all my self control to not stop this grow and just straight up eat em. The smell is sooooooo good. Megan being the smallest of them all is now super bushy and i am a bit worried about her budsites. They are kinda deep inside this canopy. She is a bit further behind Bertha by about 4 or 5 days in size. Probably she'll catch up with the budsites stretching a bit more. On top of all this, shout out to BIOTABS for being an absolute G. They tried shipping my nutrients 3 times during this pandemic and for some reason it never could leave the country. They never gave up sending me the nutrients and finally they were successful. Thank you biotabs for being an absolutely angel during these times. My next grow will go out to you guys and part of the proceeds will be donated to you. 9/5/2020 - Day 56( day 5) Did some defoliating today. Bud sites were well hidden under the canopy. Been reading a lot about not defoliating autos. But i believe in my girls ✊🏽 they are strong 💪 plus the benefits outweigh the cons in my head atm. The canopy seems a lot better. Light penetration looks on fucking point right now 11/5/2020 day 58 (day 7) End of week

12/5/2020 Day - 59 (day 1) Well its safe to say that my calmag deficiency is gone. Now I have a calcium toxicity on Bertha and slight toxicity on Juanita. Fml. Cant seem to catch a break. I got so freaked out that I fucking overfed the calmag and gave Bertha a massive calcium toxicity. 13/5/2020 Day 60 (day 2) I did a small flush with tap water for Bertha hoping that she doesn't have any more toxicity. I blocked her autopot so that she doesn't get any more calcium from the réservoir. The réservoir has quiet a bit of calmag mixed in it. I topped the réservoir off today with tap water again hoping to dilute the calmag inside it. 15/5/2020 Day 62 (day 4) Fed Bertha and Megan 1.5g flower fuel and gave megan a light cal mag dose. Bertha seems to be getting worse with the calcium toxicity 😔

19/5/2020-day 66(day 1) Still nutrient deficient 21/5/2020- day 68(day3) Gave them all RO water mixed with roughly 4.5gs to a 5ltr bottle and each plant was fed roughly 1.6 ltrs each. Hoping the nutrient deficiency goes down. Will be feeding them again on day 7 22/5/2020- Day 69(day 4) So I contacted ELEMENT NUTRIENTS and they said that my nutrient is a hydroponics grade nutrient and that I can add it to my réservoir. Also I did a bit of research and found out my autpot is designed to handle mineral nutrients 🤦‍♂️ So I added about 6gs of flower fuel to the tank and ECd them to 1200mS and also ppmed them to 800 reservoir mark is at about 65ltrs atm. Hopefully my nutrient problem will dissapear now. Hope for the best 😊 I will be flowering them till june 10 and then chop them off 😊

It might be a potassium deficiency and I believe it was so as i was running out of nutrients and i had to lower the nutrient dose i was giving by hand. On the 22nd, i added the nutrients to my AutoPot reservoir so that i no longer had to hand water them and it still has this. SOS

New growth looks green, but you are talking about a mobile nutrient. it's getting worse because the entirity is in a steady decline for weeks. if what you are adding hasn't been working, it likely is not the cause. I may be symptoms of a mg or ca deficiency, but it could have been caused by pH or a p and/or k toxicity too. just a high EC/tds also. Back off on ferts for a few irrigations. you are in soil. it'll be okay. let it runoff, though. You are five weeks in, so i wouldn't flush for long, and don't over do it... just want to dilute what is in your soil a good bit... then resume with a low concentration of a well-balanced feed. if you need to add things "this week" or "that week" it's a bad feeding schedule / system. at worst, you should dial a few things up or down out of a very minimal number of products that you put into your soil/soilless or reservoir - equally apply to all.

What do I do with the leaves that are dieing or has partial necrosis? Do I just cut off the whole leaf of wait for it to completely turn brown and then cut it off? Or do i just cut off the affected parts(the brown bits)

if they easily pull off, it's dead anyway... i let it stay until that point or they fall off. let the plant suck them dry or nearly dry. unless it in some way increases light penetration or other green bits, i wouldn't bother removing necrotic portions... if 2.3rds of the leave is dead, maybe snipping that off is worth the effort due to light it allows to hit below.. but not small bits. only cut into dead part and you can't damage living tissue.

The yellowing of plant leaves is simply due to a nitrogen (N) shortage which is a perfectly natural phenomenon as the plants nears the end of its life cycle. You are in the eighth week of flower, so you are likely close to harvest time depending on your strain. Most of today’s commercial strains flower for about eight or nine weeks. During the latter weeks of flower, the plants have a physiological shift that requires less nitrogen (which is more important at the start of flowering) and more phosphorous (P) and potassium (K). Many nutrient lines adjust their programs to account for this change, and as less nitrogen is present in the feedings the plant’s leaves begin to turn from green to yellow. However, sometimes the nutrient program is a little too deficient in N and it sounds like you may have a bit of this issue here as the tiny leaves of your buds should generally not be turning yellow. One or two here and there is OK, but if the yellowing is rampant on your buds a boost of N could help. However, if you are just days away from harvest, then you should be in your flushing stage (feeding with pure water only) and I would not recommend adding anything further. If anything, you may want to expedite your harvest and cut down a few days early if you think the buds are really suffering. In general, around week six or seven (or two weeks before harvest to be more precise), most growers begin flushing their gardens. Flushing is another way of saying watering or feeding with only pure, distilled water. No nutrients are added during this time. This helps the plant rid itself of excess nutrients and additives that build up over time. It also helps to create a cleaner, healthier smoke for you after harvest. Well-flushed buds will dry and cure easier and burn to a clean, white ash when smoked, making all your hard work that much more enjoyable in the end!

3/6/2020 day 81(day 2) Plants have been given a healthy dose of calmag. Also have been given nutrients. They arnt ready to be harvested yet. But should be soon in the next 11 days. I think 92 days is a lot for an auto 6/6/2020 such a dumbass. I didnt feed any nutrients. I fed my plants fucking myco! I was mixing myco into my reservoir. My myco can and my nutrient can both look the same. I accidentally replaced the wrong lid and fed myco to my plants for so long. Ffs. What other ways can I fuck up my grow?

Bertha grew up to be a weird one tbh. Shes covered in tiny ball like buds, Juanita grew up fat but a bit too hairy for my taste. Megan blew me away with her buds. She was the tiniest plant I had but she seems to be the best out of the lot. Tbh their genetics were all over the place. Maybe it was me. But the northern light i grew came out absolutely intese. Best of the lot. Will update with dry weight soon. They all smell absolutely amazing tho.
