Day 126: just picture Day 127: no pictures. Soil still moist. Upper part of the tent seems a little hot. Really need another fan in the tent. Increased exhaust speed but worried that will hurt humidity. Day 128: soil still damp from day 125. I feel like we are close to harvest. I know many feel I should be flushing at this point but I’m going to use nutes to then end. Day 129: now she looks thirsty. Will add 1 gallon with nutes today. Soil looks a little behind hydro so a separate drying space is in my near future. Debating a second tent versus a wardrobe box. Figuring out how to use this new microscope. Thinking it needs more time but anxious to harvest. Day 130: just pictures. Harvest this weekend? Day 131: a couple of pieces of amber. Good amount of cloudy. Some still clear. Is this ready for harvest? Day 132: still learning the microscope. Sometimes hard to tell if the trichome is cloudy or just out of focus.

Grow Questions

My tent is 32"x32"x63". I've only ever done one plant at a time. This time I am attempting to share the tent with a hydroponic grow in a 5-gallon bucket. I normally grow soil in a 5-gallon smart pot. Should I use a 3-gallon instead? Last grow the 1 hydro filled the tent.

@burnerac Hi mate I think you should stick to the 5 gallon but your gonna need to train and grow them both differently then the last time simply because you are attempting two plants rather than one I would think about LST and maybe a scrog net to help contain them also your gonna need to be able to feed the soil plant and change the nute solution in the hydro one so dont forget to leave room for that to be able to take place also consider airflow as if the tent is too crowded you can get "hotspots" that could create issues Any way I wish you luck 👍

I like Ga4ad2en0er's answer (your name's to hard to spell man! Lol). You can literally just bend her over and expose lower nodes to light and air. They will grow and become mains. I did a very simple LST method with my NL#1 in my second grow. Nothing fancy at all, just the basics. Not trying to sell the diary to you, but I have updates and close ups of my bends and how I incrementally adjust them to get the results I'm looking for. The long and short of it: Single topping of the main @ the 6th node point. The rest was LST. Super simple, massive colas and a 120 gram harvest on her, alone. I topper a lot in my first grow but I advice not too. LST accomplishes the same task without the recovery time needed when we cut the girls head off. The new laterals that branch out will also be weaker and hold less bud quantity. By the end my mains were weak from too much topping and the product on the each was finite. This is just how I do it but we all fall into our own style. You may like some things I do but not others. Take what you like and leave the rest. In time you'll see what and where bends can be placed to optimize the tent area, yeild and mains👍👍. Lastly (sorry, getting long now) is to keep it simple. Small bends, adjusted every once in awhile. I stay away from more advanced methods like mainlining and HST methods. You will see in no time that the results of meticulous LST is just as good if not better then other high stress methods. Cheers and good luck finding your style!!🙂👊

If you have two plants in one tent, and one plant becomes ready for harvest before the other, what do you do? Cut one and hang it in same tent with light? Let one get more amber? Dry outside the tent?

Dry outside of the tent.. Look up ways to make a DIY dry Box.. or a lot of people use an extra bathroom. 👊
