Day 55 disaster! I think I let her dry out too much! It's only been a couple of days since last water. I have cut off the crispy dry leaves but don't hold out much hope for her recovery :( Will keep an eye on her very closely over the next few days.
@Dunk_Junk, in my opinion you never loose with some home grown!!!! Good growers never stop learning and always learn from past mistakes.. keep up the effort I can tell you have potential yet to shine!!!
@WeirdBeard, Thanks for the info. Maybe next grow of this (in the future) I will let it go longer. Oh and also look after it a bit better... Despite this I got a half decent yield. Something to build on for sure.
@Dunk_Junk, that does happen but you have to look at more then just the trichomes. Almost all of your pistols we’re still white. Meaning your plant was still trying to get pollinated. So you never gave it a chance to develop all of the terpenes and resin it normally would in order to protect its seeds. You wouldn’t Of had a couch lock smoke by letting it fully develop..it’s letting it go beyond it’s prim that creates the couchlock effect.
This is a KILLER looking grow. I see some experience shining through here and I see you're a 24/0 light schedule guy - NICE! I am attempting my first "topless" SCROG (trying to bend instead) with 6 different strains right now. It would be cool if you would follow along and make a suggestion or two. - Zannabis7
@Zannabis7, Thanks for the kind words! All I try to do is replicate nature. Give them plenty of light, moderate controlled temperatures, good ventilation and air movement. I don't go crazy on the fertilizers as I do not grow the same strain over and over so cannot 'dial it in'.
Good luck with your grow!!
I do think you harvested a little early but sometimes when growing we have to make hard decisions and I can say I think you made the right call :)
Yes they could have gone another 14-21 days but in that time you could have lost the whole crop. Good call and a nice end haul :)
Thank you for doing this diary and hopefully I will see you on your next Dinafem or HSO adventure :)
Until then enjoy that fine dinabud :)
All the best
Mark..
@DinafemSeeds, Thanks Mark! She was loosing many leaves in the last days. For me that was also a contributing factor in chopping her early. Anyway, she smokes lovely and smooth. Next time I will do her justice 👌.
