Added a frosting of DE on day 25, watered for the first time since today with straight 4.9 pH dehumidifier run off water due the the added alkalinity of the DE run off pH LSD 1 6.9, LSD 2 6.8, LSD 3 6.6, LSD 4 7.1, Gelato 1 6.7, Gelato 2 6.6. So a little high but I don't think dangerously so. Don't know if I should start some gentle feeding, I have been water straight water for about 14 days at this point I think.

Are there at any special things to watch for in growing Gelato? I hear it's finicky but I'm having a hard time finding its specific needs. TIA

Hi in my diaries you will find a few gelatos ;-) There is nothing special to note except that it looks great at the end and tastes great 😍🙏🏻👌

I burned these early but have been giving them straight 6.4-5 pH water for about the last 14 days should I continue with this or start gentle feed?

I would do a 1/3 feed as it looks like your in Coco? They will need it. Right now they don't need much. Should perk um right back! Cheers and happy growing!

I'm dosing at 60% of the feed chart but I'm not sure if I might be ODing the PH, think the LSDs have been yellowing a bit so I've boosted the FP a bit.

There is a little bit of yellowing on the tips maybe go back 5%/10% on the dosage, see how it goes.

To be honest I’m thinking your jiffy peat pellets. For the size of the seedling your tap root should be visible from side or bottom trying to make its was out the peat pellet. Looks like it’s starting to cause p.h issue . Please feel free to check out my seedling there only at day 3 - 5 and my roots are at the bottom of my 2.70 pot . If I was you I’ll remove all seedling from jiffy peat pellets and repot in coco buffed with cal mag ph to 6.8 . Or medium of choice. I’ll work on my root system adding mycro to root when repotting water in of course . Then I’ll let it dry out for 24hr first feeding molasses and easy weed p.h to 6.8 that will help with any ph issue your having at this stage . But I don’t know if you wanna listen to me right now I don’t even have a ph pen 😂 all joke aside Good like to you growmie 👌🏾

@MrBlocc420, Surprisingly not compared to other non-cannabis plants I've grown of similar size thus the wait + it allows a little more time for runt to catch up, the pictures are shadowed so it makes some of the tips look black, they are not, no tip burn or discoloration, the white spots are just a bit of dried silicon from watering. Up potting to ProMix BX with worm castings & maybe some DE for pest prevention.

Hey. How you doing. I can't answer in chat for some reason. K, I would recommend you flush your girls with 5.8 ph water and plenty of it. 4.8 is to low, they wont take up nutes. Always 5.8 in grow and 6 in flower for proper nutrient uptake. After the flush replace your nutes at 600 ppm. Make sure after the flush your ph is coming out at 5.8 in the runoff. Your girls will recover. Cheers

I'll tell you the truth! They aren't looking too good, pippen! You might want to feed them!

400 ppm to start max then when you see new growth and they start to get a little bigger, up it 100 ppm at a time. Good way to know if your plants need more food is to watch the stems of the leaves. If it isn't a genetically purple traited plant, those stems should be green, when they start getting red or purple your plant is telling you she wants more food. I would also put ph water through your cocoa once in a while to keep salt from building. Cheers
