First Grow 2020

Seeds were put in Jiffy pods on 5-5-20, after 17 hour soak in 3% H2O2 to 1 pint of distilled water, most broke soil 3 days later. Gelato #2 grew inverted root so I had to dig & replant on day 5, in a day the shell popped & all looked good but shortly after I let the pod dry out too much & I thought I might have killed it but I doctored & monitored closely for a couple days & it finally developed true leaves. I cut my nutrients 50% with water as I thought the Silicon was too high in the 1st week still kinda concerned about Gelato 2 (the runt) but it seems to be slooowly be moving along, as far as I can tell it otherwise seem healthy. Plan to up pot to 2l Terracotta pots in the next week.

Day 21, up potted on day 19, using 3 parts Promix BX 1 part worm castings, putting these on detox this week (at least) due to rookie overfeeding :-/ Just water until they hopefully heal.

Added a frosting of DE on day 25, watered for the first time since today with straight 4.9 pH dehumidifier run off water due the the added alkalinity of the DE run off pH LSD 1 6.9, LSD 2 6.8, LSD 3 6.6, LSD 4 7.1, Gelato 1 6.7, Gelato 2 6.6. So a little high but I don't think dangerously so. Don't know if I should start some gentle feeding, I have been water straight water for about 14 days at this point I think.

Started to feed again on 06-05 with water & 2 ml of Dyna-Gro Foliage-Pro 9-3-6 per gal. Used mostly one gl & part of a second. All plants but LSD #4 are showing roots on the bottom drain hole & Gelato #2 is reaching out about an inch. Oddly I already detect a mild scent when I enter my house, I don't have a carbon filter but its unexpected to have a scent at all so soon, good to come home to though. 👍

Up potted on day 46 watered with 10 ml of K-L-N Concentrate & half cup of Hydrogen Peroxide 3% to aid root shock (I had none). I'm anxious to get back to feeding as they look hungry but I stuck with traditional wisdom & held off on feeding on transplant Going to use Pro-TeKt 1ml, Foliage-Pro 2 ml & Mag-Pro 1ml next watering in a couple days & see how it goes.

I trimmed off yellow & brown dead foliage & started to feed again on day 53. I want to top soon as the plants return to good color & health.

Topped yesterday, aiming to start flowering by the start of august, realistic? BTW Topped LSD #4 a week or so ago by accident (tip fell off in my hand while examining) so I only topped the other 5 plants.

Last week of veg, flipping today, let the flowering begin, started some LST on 68, unfortunately snapped LSD 1 but taped up, continued on more plants on 69.

First week of flowering coming along slowly. Decided to get a second SF-2000 as it is really needed to flower what I have decently, on order hopefully I can get it before next week.

Got a second SF-2000 light to finish flowering on day 80 defoliated on day 82 Flowers are starting to pop. 👍

Defoliated on day 82. Flowers are starting to get sticky on sugar leaves & the pine smell is picking up but not as strong as expected the Gelato buds are starting to amber up. Think I'm going to up the Foliage Pro a ml as is see some yellowing since I switched up the ratio.

Added a bit more Foliage-Pro to the mix as the LSDs have been a bit yellow, normal flowering? Buds are filling out, not as strong smelling as expected but I can tell they are in the house.

Reducing Bloom & raising ratio of Foliage-Pro to address burn & faded LSD foliage. Buds are getting heavy will need to add bamboo support ASAP.

Added some bamboo for support of some of the heavier bud laden stems, still addressing the tip burn, think its mostly due to under-watering, working on that balance, not too certain exactly how far I am from harvest, thinking maybe a month?

Still perplexed with the tip burn but I don't think its a disaster, 2 more weeks until harvest or 3? no rush.

Dropped using the Bloom this week to address the tip burn & added more bamboo to support the colas, hope to harvest in a couple weeks I think.

Final Flowering week, will be cutting on 09/19 Feeding straight water as of Day 131-61, One gal per plant, first time I got run off to test since I up-potted to 5 gal fabric, Insanely high PPMs from 1880 to 3150! with a average pH of 5.2, so I assume uptake was marred, next time I will REALLY need to keep a better eye on this, in consideration I think I made out pretty well for a first run, gonna start a second as soon as these are hung.

Curing in jars at 62-64% RH currently.
