I'm late on my journals because I needed a new phone. So please excuse my late entries. I started the zkittles the last week of January. The other two strains are 1 week older.
They went from the dome into solo cups, from solo cups into 1 gal smart pots. From 1 gal to 5 gal autopots.
Zkittles vegged very well and loved to be topped.
Phantom vegged pretty well and didn't shape out as well from being topped.
Diesel was a little pain. It was a calmag whore. Took me awhile to get what it needs figured out. Topping also wasn't very helpful in shaping the plant.
I'm just putting all my veg pictures in the same week and starting my journal from flower
They were flipped on March 7. Loving the net and growing like freaking crazy. Been doling as much tucking and weaving that I can. In the future I should be able to just fill the 4x4 with just two of the zkittles.
The back plant is the zkittles. Front left is the phantom and the right is the diesel.
Well all these ladies had a major growth spurt. My lights are at the max height now so I hope they are done. Good news though the Gorilla zkittles and Red diesel are showing bud forming, so hopefully I can count on them to be done stretching now.
Started them
I defoliated pretty good on day 7
I started them on the rhino skin once I got something to keep it turning in my reservoir.
I also top dressed 1/2 cup of compost mix and hit them with a light top feed of recharge.
Looking forward to seeing these ladies pack on weight in the new few weeks.
These ladies are doing great. No complaints. I've had to fill the reservoir (12gal) twice this week. They are really eating it up. I'm super excited to see these ladies stack up.
These ladies just didn't want to stop growing. Sadly I had to take drastic action at the beginning of this week. I had to bend a couple branches to keep them away from the light. I am now officially out I'd ceiling space.
Other then that it's been smooth sailing. They've been sucking through some food. I've gone through about 5 gallons a day. I gave them a compost tea on Saturday.
I just cannot wait to see these ladies at their fullest!
Such a great week watching these ladies bulk up!
It's looking like the gorilla zkittles won't get a full week on its current food schedule before I start it on its winter frost and flushing. The Red diesel and Phantom will probably take another two weeks on there food schedule.
Happy growing people!
I wish I would've started this grow sooner, then I wouldn't of ran out of stash during this quarantine!
Another great week. The tent smells sweet and fruity.
I started the gorilla zkittles on its pre flush of winter frost. Keeping an eye on the trichs. Can't wait to chop.
The diesel and phantom are still on there regular food schedule. There showing few signs of finishing anytime soon. So I'll just keep it up.
Happy growing buddies!
Another great week. The Phantom and Red diesel are finally starting to mature to red and orange hairs instead of all white. I'm excited.
Gave all the ladies a compost, molasses and kelp tea this week. Some of the buds on the phantom are starting to fall over from the weight. With all the stretch I got my nets are doing very little to help.
The Gorilla zkittles has been on plain water since Wednesday. Keeping a close watch on the trichs. Maybe another 7 days, maybe not.
Happy growing buddies. Thanks for the support!
Well, another great week. I took down the gorilla zkittles on 5/7 and will post the harvest once it's spent a week drying.
The diesel and phantom have just exploded with maturity. Seemingly overnight. They are on winter frost and plain water now .
Ladies have been on winter frost Ann's plain water. Getting ready to chop. I'm concerned that the diesel has rot but I've cracked the buds open and they are still green on the inside. I was told it would be brown on the inside if it had rot. Can someone clarify for me that knows better?
The zkittles spent 7 days hanging and is trimmed up and jarred right now. I'll post the harvest after it spends a little more time in the jars.
Truth be told I should've let them go another week on plain water before I pulled it.
That being said I really enjoyed smoking this baby and look forward to growing her again.
