Madge Starting to watch for my flushing start window... I'd like it to be two weeks long. Thoughts? How much longer do you think before they begin to change to amber? Do you think these are cloudy, I seem to think so but it's my first grow.

Madge Day 75: Of the two plants the taller one was always about 5 or 6 days ahead of the smaller one, preflowers, bulking up etc. As a result I have decided that I can't take waiting anymore! So I flushed 2.5 gallons of RO water through. Water going in was 0 ppm and pH 6.3 First run off was 560 ppm and 6.2 pH Final run off was 150 ppm and 6.2 pH I did not use the FloraKleen that came with my Grow Box, not sure why really, I just figured it would be OK with a week of clean water. I've read controversial stuff about whether to flush and well I guess I decided to go the middle road and not use chemicals for this flushing. Haven't decided when I will flush the smaller plant yet, but I will surely let everyone know. I only see the odd amber trich which leads me to believe it should begin to change soon....

Madge Overall a good week last week. Most comments are below. . 12/23 Day 90: While the first plant is drying I let the second plant continue to grow another week or so. The second plant is continuing to yellow. I have only been feeding it water and gave it some FloraKleen yesterday to begin the flushing. A few photo updates today. This one has not purpled at all compared to the other plant.

Madge 12/21 Day 88: I am happy to report that I just couldn't wait any longer and one of the ladies went under the knife today. She smells beautiful! Citrus Lemonade maybe... Against most advice I didn't wait another week (for this one anyways). I have a second plant a bit shorter and will not likely bring in as much, but will still probably hold her own. . Weigh In . Early Sampler, was 15g Wet 3g, Quick Dry Plant 1 Buds 316g Wet Plant 1 Trim 48g Wet Plant 2 Buds TBD Wet Plant 2 Trim TBD Wet Plant 1 is now drying and I will provide updates as I go. . . 12/25 Day 92: I just gave a large drink to the rest of the garden and I am a bit worried about the humidity getting too high for this lady. She has done me well so far. I think she will sleep outside the flower room tonight. It's been about 50% in there the last few days, but I just dumped 40L of water on the rest of the garden... YIKES. The buds which are drying seem like they should be ready to move to jars tomorrow morning.smallest stem gave a crack when pushed hard. I turned off the exhaust fan. Hey I should show my little drying rack setup I made... . 12/26 Day 93: Happy boxing day! what an amazing holiday... ;) I played some Christmas music for the ladies tonight. The second plant survived the night again. I had it out tonight to check the trichomes and I can see some Potassium deficiency building but the trichomes are still mostly cloudy. Not a lot more I can do than wait. I jar up the dry buds today and checked them a few hours later and the humidity meter said 80% so I took them back out and put them on the paper plate to continue drying. Will check again tomorrow evening I guess. . 12/27 Day 94: The little lady lives another day. Man, I really wish she would hurry up. Still no change in her trichomes. On the harvest front, I jarred up the dried buds and I have to say I am digging the smell. I still can't really place it tho. Looking forward to a few weeks from now. . 12/28 Day 95: OK, this is just getting silly! Come on CKS let's finish this thing.... Plant 2 is still just cloudy trichomes. I am having a really hard time keeping the humidity down. It has been running around 60% and I am worried about bud rot... I had to turn off the exhaust because of the cold outdoor temps and it pulls the house down quite too much for the furnace to keep up. Maybe I should go find the dehumidifier in the storage center, but that's been officially declared a disaster area and would be hours of work to rescue it from the rubble that has amassed in the storage room. . 12/28 Day 95: Wait there's more! LOL I paid my son $20 to go climb over the big pile and lift the dehumidifier out and now it is humming away. Woohoo much better sleep tonight! ;) METALLICA YA... The ladies have been asking for something a bit more than Christmas music this evening... . 12/29 Day 96: Although I have been giving only water for the past two weeks, I ran a complete flush tonight down to 0 pmm out. She is under 24 hour light and I will turn it off tomorrow morning and chop new years eve. . 12/30 Day 97, well she had mostly dark hours today. I never turned on the light in there but I had the door open and was in and out a lot today. I have a bunch of stuff stored in there so I can't say it was pitch black as I could see what I was doing. I was creating a backup of my plants... ie I took some cuttings and placed them in the cloner with this girl to share some quite time... . Updated smoke report. Just a few days of curing made sooo much difference in the taste. I can't believe it. I feel so much better now, well that and I just smoked it so well; HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY.... I can't wait for another few weeks to see where this goes but this time around I am thinking about sneaking a second nugg. Nice and frosty but still a bit green tasting and looking. It certainly is a head high, a bit euphoric but that could be because it is my first grow... Oh hang on a second, the ladies are calling me, I think they wanted to know if I could turn on some music... . 12/31 Day 98, HAPPY NEW YEAR! well in a couple of hours anyways... So I was able to harvest my second plant today. it was 245g wet and is now drying in 68 degree 50% humidity. This one was trimmed much closer as I don't think I trimmed close enough the first time around. This one also had about half as much of the aroma. I was getting a bit of a hint of musty-ness off of it over the past few days so I checked the buds very carefully and did not find any bud rot.
