Overall a good week last week. Most comments are below.

12/23 Day 90: While the first plant is drying I let the second plant continue to grow another week or so. The second plant is continuing to yellow. I have only been feeding it water and gave it some FloraKleen yesterday to begin the flushing. A few photo updates today. This one has not purpled at all compared to the other plant.
when you start to see that color change your looking for here are some tips fellow grower: 1 it comes during the end of your plants life cycle 2 it is your plant cannabilizing (eating) itself...3 as the plant consumes its own leaves it absorbs the nutrients from them 4 it then puts that energy in the final swelling of the buds...flushing is crucial in bringing about this process fellow grower...I think your first plant was cut a lil early as the cannibal stage had just begun...even though your second plant may not look like it has as much as the first one did if you hold out and do a proper flush and let them buds swell you may end up with denser buds and thus more weight...and the first one you cut could have been even more too...I know having a small cramped space can be over whelming trying to raise center or lower/balance them all to get light to them...and also having to feed each one separate can be time consuming to...but you only robb your plant of its full potiential and your self better quality smoke by harvesting early...look ahead on your next grow...everything in your tent your cant support through the next run scrap it...I have a 2x4 space and have learned...no more than 2 or 3 plants...and even with 3 it becomes a side show act real fast...just a little honest friendly helpful adivice that I hope helps you along...and remember flushing/cannabilazation is the most important part...Happy Holidays!!!
@Sillyasswhitedude, thanks, I apreciate that you took this much time to reply. yes I realize I probably cut her early. I was impatient and wanted to try it so bad not feeling it anymore for the second plant. I am watching the second one closely to understand how it fills out. (I learn by trying)
I added a second 315W CMH to the room yesterday. The table is now 3 feet x 7 feet so each 315W covers a 3x3.5 area. I think this works well now and am not worried about light coverage.
I figured about 8 plants at a time in this space. I agree I really need to cull the lot. 16 plants that are in there will be reduced to no more than 8 once I decide which ones to keep. I talk about this in more depth in my other grow.
Great grow so far.Keep up the hype. You still have at least 2-3 more weeks from what it looks like.If you give her the time,i'm pretty sure she will tripled the size of those buds.Just don't be hasty and be patient.
@Eurus, yes 315W CMH 3100K. really appreciate your expertise. I definitely will not pull them both down. I will try hard to wait but may pull the more mature one which I manicured in a week and leave the other one to continue just because I am low on meds and am hesitating to purchase more and I spent quite a bit on my setup.
This first grow is a learning experience for sure so if I leave the second one I will get a much better idea of expected size. I personally find it difficult to judge size of peoples photos when there isn't a know object in the foreground for reference. This should also give me a difference between early and late harvest effects on the same plant.
@Madge,reason im calling it at least 2-3 weeks is because your buds are still premature.Pistils are %90 white and buds are underdeveloped. You are using a 315W CMH light i presume and those buds must be at least 3-4 times bigger than that unless there is problem.
@Eurus, thanks! I'm trying to be patient... 😉
Hmm, another 2-3 eh? Well I was thing a Christmas chop... But maybe I will chop one and keep the other. I got myself one of those $30 USB Microscope things off Ebay and am watching the trichomes closely now.
Curious what you saw that you are judging 2-3 weeks on?
I have to be careful now because my humidity has crept up to 70% since I added a bunch of company to her room.
I harvested early on my first grow...you can see the diary in my section...I have learned much sense then...more from hands on than anything...I cut both my first plants early and it took me my second grow to figure out were I short changed myself...I only wish to pass on the knowledge I have gained my fellow grower and help others...your on the right track and anything I can do to help my friend I would gladly do...my second round I tried a few advanced methods to increase yields...I had some success but I can still improve more so yet...I am no master by any means but I can share any of my knowledge that you find helpful...now let this second plant flush...push her to the edge and watch her close...check them trichs everyday my friend...flush flush flush and then flush some more...in the end you will see the difference in a early harvest and a proper one...the difference in unflushed smoke and flushed smoke...its all a learning experience fellow grower and the only way to gain the knowledge is with hands on trial and error and those fellow growers who actually take the time to be honest and helpful...you have some fabulous macro shots by the way...you can always post them and ask a master grower for advice if your in doubt...but I really dig your diaries and the quality of them as well...much respect hope you had a good holiday season!!!
@Sillyasswhitedude,Thank you! Yep, last night was tempting to pull the second one! LOL but she managed to make it through without the crazy guy cutting into her!
So much restraint is needed. I know I need to do the right thing here and let her go longer.
BTW, I am using a cheap $20 USB microscope off ebay/amazon. Nothing fancy but it is perfect for taking snaps of the trichomes.
Yep, holidays are great, that reminds me, maybe I should go get a glass of some eggnog or apple cider.
Hi my friend. Your plants are looking great. I have a problem and I need comments from friends with experiences.
I'm feeling that my buds are so small, maybe they're not but I think like that. The feathers have started to turn into.brown and I think the harvest time will come after 15 days.
Will the buds continue growing up at that time? For the last, can you say anything abou the harvest time? I have added a video to my diary today.
Best regards. 🤗🙏
@hiciste, This is my first grow and I would be lying to you if I pretended to know anywhere near as much as others on this site. I took a look and they do look healthy. Keep up whatever it is you are doing.
@goarilla, no, I only took a medium sized cola to sample it. It seems to have helped quench my urge to chop it down. But yes, I am running out of space. I started way too much and am now beginning to pay for it. Everything is crammed into my flower room with the exception of one plant. I'll upload a picture of them all... And yes, these two Northern Lights Autos are my first grow, I kinda got ahead of myself! LOL
Impressed the hell out of me. A boost of confidence for me. Your girl was stunning and the link came at the right time. I have a crowded tent and now actually paying attention to the breeder's notes.
12/18 Day 78: I gave these two ladies some company, well a bunch of company and the humidity has jumped to 70% in the room. I am working on fixing this but it's gonna have to survive for the next few days..
Removed the wall between the two rooms to make a single 4x8. Also built myself a drain table. I used plastic roof material from the big orange store. I sloped it towards the front and plan to add an eavestrough or something along the front to bring it back to a drain bucket. I was thinking it would be pretty easy to convert to a drip feed system down the road if I ever wanted to play with that. It's also off the ground so the roots aren't as cold and I don't have to bend over as much which is maybe the biggest reason I did it... I still have 70" from table to ceiling so it shouldn't be much of a problem. I have ordered another 315W CMH light for in there and will be building a DIY Light Mover. Good times 😁
OK, I couldn't take it anymore... So I pulled a medium cola as a sampler and prepared it for a water curing as I'd like to try it and see how I like it. If the water curing works out then when I pull the rest of the plant down I should be able to make an educated decision about how I want to finish my buds. The medium cola I pulled was 15g wet. So I figure this plant might be between 150 and 200 grams wet which makes me happy, guess I just have to wait and see. Today's trichome check still shows next to no amber...
12/15 Day 75: Sitting here looking at this lady and decided to flush her, CHECK! Then I was looking at her thinking she needs a haircut, CHECK! Then I was thinking I'd better put the dang thing back under the light before I chop it down too! Man I am so impatient... ;) But loving every minute of it.
My daughter poked her head in the room tonight and her guess was 1.5 ounces per plant. I can still say I have no clue. Trying to prepare myself for doom while still trying to be optimistic...
12/12 Day 72: Gave the ladies a drink tonight. It was time for a pure water drink so I gave them 3 Liters of RO water each (RO is what they always get). Tonight there was no nutes or Cal-Mag added. pH was 6.1 will go a couple of more days and see what the trichs look like and then make a decision about what to do.
