I have noticed that there are not much information about growing Citrus Trees indoor using flourescent lighting. So i am making a dairy I bought this tree a few days ago i estimate the age to be 2-5 years old from cutting but i am not sure. Smells amazing with a Lot of bud sites. Have a strong and sweet citrus smell to it. Using 55 watt flourescent tubes and Canna Terra nutrients which should suite its needs pretty well. I am planning on adding some Bud Candy for its next feed. My expectations is that it will produce a heavy amount of citrus fruits with the Canna Terra Flores and Bud Candy nutrients. The PH is way to high(7.5 - 8) and i will feed it with a PH of 6.0 next time. Im not sure how i am going to manage the structure of the plant but i will learn as it grows.

One thing I know about citrus is that the stem that comes out from the nodes are called "Suckers" because they take too much energy and stays in vegetative for too long! If you see any growing, I do suggest you cutting them, to focus on the main stem. This seems to be a clone from a good tree. Some citrus take 10 years to give the first fruit! I wish you a great grow!! The leafs and flowers smell wonderful !!!

@Psilocubensis, Yes the teqnique u are refering to is air layering. But i have seen some people take cuttings, dip them in rooting hormone and planting them directly in the pottet soil. The strain is citrus limon, limone. Only info i have on it :( would like to know the exact name

@PureMedicin, Nice! They might no be sucker at all them, but take care with new coming up, they might be. Keep the focus on the branches already fruiting. I've said clone but some citrus don't take clone. There's another technique, wish is not commonly used on cannabis, the you expose the inner branch, and put soil on it, to develop roots in the branch attached to the tree. Or you plant a seed, develop the new plant, cut it and place another branch on it. If they used this last one you may find on the stem some kind of mark. But a quick search and you learn anything, thanks internet. Btw, do you know the """strain""" of your lemon?

@Psilocubensis, great info thank u. I will keep a look out for suckers. Yes it was my thoughts as well that it is a clone. Smells really wonderful. I have a sucker branch i think with alot of fruit so leaving it until ready for harvest then ill prune it and take clones. I can take an image it later
