Had some heat issues, temps got to around 90 degrees for a day or 2, woops, very stretchy strain, its filling out nicely, if i knew the ninja fruit was gonna stretch like this i woulda topped alot sooner, oh well, ill be taking clones and running these again try and dial em in, i am running cree cxb 3590s 3000k 90CRI and 3500k 80CRI mixed, also have an array of single diodes, UVA 365,385,400nm, IR, far red and infra reds, all bluefish controlled, just rebuilt this light so this is the first time ive ran it, its doin ok so far, ran into heat issues using the sonoff switches to control things in my grow room, well Ewelink servers went down so my grow got kinda fucked up from that but i caught it in time to save it
3 Ninja Fruits are day 55, Alien Rift is day 42, both day counts started when i dropped seeds into water not when they broke soil, also 100% germ rate, 1 of the ninjas was male so i chopped it down, but 3/4 females so far out of a 11 pack aint bad, and the alien rift is female and still have the whole pack of that, looks like its gonna be a bushy one too, will def be taking clones and running these again, can get oceangrown from lumberjack seed source, thats the only place you can get them, unless you know the breeders, i also have ninja smash, grapefruit glue, dark plasma, and jawa kush waiting to pop from them, waiting for the spartan kush and the astrochimp then my set will be near complete lol
Ok so this is actually the first week of jacks, i need to go back and change the nutrients used in the back weeks, was using dynagro but that stuff is going to be used for something else, not sure what yet, itll prob just sit on my shelf and collect dust, anyways, plants doing better with the jacks, heat issues under control, gonna flip these girls soon, tryin to give the alien rift some time to catch up, might need to move to another light setup for the time being, or just keep tieing the ninjas down, either way i will probably flip lights schedule this weekend
Beginning of week 3, stretch stopped, Alien Rift - (Font Right) stretched alot more than ide like but itll be fine, defoliated alot, really doesnt look like i did much though, Alot of purple on all the ninja fruits, i was thinking one of the phenos wasnt going to turn purple, didnt have any purple veining, Looks more indica leaning, alot leafier than the other 2 ninja fruits, the other 2 almost look identical, little difference in leaf structure but pretty close, took clones, most look like they are alive (always take more than you need). See what ones i want to keep and run again, noticed that the Ninja Fruit trichomes are also turning purple, very cool, never seen that before, only on the purple leaves though, so maybe its just pulling some color out from the leaf.....idk im just guessing, still very cool
Halfway there, seems most of my clones survived, even started one in a 5 gallon dwc bucket, thing lived, its got roots coming out of the bottom of the net pot, friend of mine told me top feeding dwc didn't work so i took a fresh cut clone and I stuck it in a bucket and left top feed drip running constantly, well i proved him wrong again,
Just got a digital microscope, messing with it, figured ide show off those purple trichs, its hard to believe, i wouldn't unless i saw them for myself
Switching nute feed a little bit, plants are looking hungry and starting to stack, I dont follow a schedule, sometimes i feed twice a week, sometimes once, usually feed water feed until i see changes in plant behavior, then i change the schedule around what the plant is telling me, schedules will fool you, use them as a guide only, I also like to know what elemental ppm my plants are getting and that the ratio im feeding is correct to plant needs, a program called -Hydrobuddy- will be your best friend if you can figure out how to use it, Happy growing everyone!
@kunkgrow, yea man I’ve actually switched from a feed water feed to a lower ec constant feed schedule, it’s working like a charm and easier to deal with, and the plants respond to it much better
I enjoy this diary for 2 reasons lol one it's a wicked grow and certainly a good scrogg 2 the arguments u 2 guys have lol it's definitely a scrogg but yet @DuctirKanabys comes back every time saying it isn't u 2 crack me up nice info on all the different scroggs can see me trying a few of them and can't wait to see these chopped nice work dude
@DuctirKanabys, but i doubt you'll grow again or post logs, cause i'm gonna be all over em like white on rice, and lets face it, you said it yourself you're scared of the man coming into your home to check your "papers" , or maybe you realized you don't know what you are doing and you were just wasting time, money, and effort on mediocre mexican brick looking weed i can get for $10 a ounce in Tijuana, so come school me if you think you can, I'll be waiting.......

Little late I know, great run bro.
When you do water feed only, is it tap or RO? Were you running in coco ?
I always read people saying you have to feed every time in coco otherwise it can cause issues? Or at least half dose.
Have you tried maybe running lower EC feeding every time?

Nuggs look amazing!
Well done! You are going to have a lot of nice weed to enjoy! 😜👊🏻👍🏻
In my humble opinion it came out like a very populated SOG. 🙃 If you wish, try to start the scrog net earlier with fewer plants, like that you are going to have more space to train thru the spaces horizontally. Is good to top early to have more branching to model them out.
There are also tomatoe cages that are very nice for LST and simpler to scrog. 👍🏻👍🏻
👊🏻👊🏻 Cheers and happy growing.
@Bountykiller420, 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻 Keep it up the nice work! There is a lot if room for experimentation in growing, that is the nice thing. Anything I’m around! Take care, and happy smoking 😎 cheers!
@CANNASIM, thanks for the advice, and i actually agree with you on alot of what you said, you sir are someone i could learn from, will be subbing to your logs , i like what i see
i assume thats a DIY cob? i saw your spectrum specs up top.
looking very forward to this grow, i just found your other grow as well and those are some SICK COLORS! what are the main factors you attribute your beautiful fall colors to?
happy growing
@Fun_Growin, If you do plan on building a cob setup there are better cheaper more efficient options out there, i wouldnt buy crees again, not when bridgelux, citizen and luminus have better cobs, but cree i believe has some new tech coming out later this year that might smoke the competition, so watch out for that, but again, chips will be so expensive will it be worth it? Have to wait and see i guess
@Fun_Growin, yea I built this thing about a year and a half ago, expanded it recently and added bluefish controller and single diodes, UVA, IR, Far Red, Some additional blues, but the main whites are Cree cxb 3590, mixed spectrum 3500k 80cri and 3000k 90cri, lotta red light and a good flush will make em turn all crazy colors like that, strain dependant obviously, but im hoping for some very nice colors out of the ninja fruit, buds are already starting to turn a purple tint and its week 2 day 1, havent seen flowers set so early, been running far red after lights out for 15mins, supposed to put your plants to sleep-seems to be working, last grow it was day 15-16 before it was at this stage
If you don't mind, how much $ do you have in your final light now? (Forget time haha)
I have heard and seen lots about the far reds at sleep and wake up to.. are you doing both? I hear the love it on both ends..
whatever your doing it's beautiful.. I'll be taking notes
@Fun_Growin, This light probably close to $1500 all said and done, i went overboard on it for sure, don't regret it though it was a really fun build, to wake my plants up i use photo reds (660nm) and infra reds (840nm) on a seperate channel, and far reds (730nm) come on 15 mins after, so yeah as for the far reds, iv'e actually been running them during the day this entire grow for a emerson effect then they stay on for 15 mins after all other lights out, plants seem to like it, flowers set really early, iv'e yet to see 1st week budding until now, so to me it must be doing its job
1) no rot, or root rot. Subsided after just a few days of Hydrogaurd.
2) mine was properly dried. Not wet for final weight.
3) I agree with your last point to some extent. However 4 plants means 4 times the nutes. I’ll admit my 1 plant grew bigger and faster than any one of your 4, and I only had a 2x2.5 tent btw. And I’ll admit I made a rookie mistake harvesting too early. You had a good yield for a 4x4 but could’ve achieved the same with 2 plants with a “Traditional” ScrOG.
Top Notch seeds there germination is is almost 100% there quality is up there with the best 👌👌👌👌plus no customs it's well worth the money big dog😧😧✌️✌️👌👌
Ninja fruit is one of the best smokes out there Viper did a awsome job on this just a lil fyi if u want to maximize her color and yeild OSRAM leds will blow your mind ive seen this plant turn blue and purple and pink GOOD LUCK 👊👊😧😧✌️✌️ ILL be following u on dis one
