W1, kinda happy I think. They're not currently under the 400w instead they're under a 30W CFL in a dome, with another 20W LED. 10 plants, all germinated fine and looking good if you ask me. Stretching has been a problem first 4 days but its under control now.
Camera: Canon EOS 1300D
So I've been to a good start with these girls for the first week and a half, then suddenly I wake up one day and see they're very sad so I water them till they perk up and they're fine for the next 3 days. I decide to cut the watering to be able to transplant them from tiny 200ml flower pots to my ghetto 2.5 liter bottle cutouts (as you can see). After not watering them for a short while they are starting to discolor and die on me, so in a sporadic effort I attempt to revive them. I add microdose amounts of Canna A+B that I'm using on another coco grow I have alongisde these and I'll see how they heal up.
They've been transplanted 3 days ago and surprisingly are showing some faster growth. What I've noticed too that is the cotyledon leaves are dying off rapidly when they're really not supposed to. If anyone would like to give some thoughts that'd be great :).
These girls are doing very well now at week 3 (+ couple days) since seed, they've entered the proper vegetation growth and are ready to get bigger. As seen in the photos they're experiencing some nutrient/stress issues but that is from the transplant, as of now (when posting this) they've healed up very well and are growing extremely fast (even competing with a Critical Auto they're next to).
I've switched out the Omega 400w HPS to a Sunmaster 600w HPS, this is primarily due to other plants maturing right next to these girls and asking for more sun. I'll probably flip from veg at the end of this month or a bit earlier (3 weeks from now or so) and move them to a separate room to begin flowering. And I'm going very nutrient light from now on.
I'm about to pull the plug on this grow, I've had better success growing in coco clearly. This is a problem I've always had with sub-par quality soil, chances are I'll probably add some fertilizer and see where I can reach with these girls, otherwise they're kind of a waste of space. I've stopped feeding the CannaBoost Accelerator, now only with Calmag. I'm not too sure what the problem here is, at first I suspected magnesium def but it doesnt look that way.
I will have a couple more auto grows coming this way in coco in few days time. 😞
