Black Haze Autoflower from Exotic Seeds.
I germinated 3 beans using the water cup and paper towel method, the seeds sprouted quick, less than 24h on the paper towel and the tap root was poking out.
I have all seedlings on solo cups for now, even tho they are auto flowers and the ideal is to plant them into the pot they will live until the end... Once they gather more strength I will transplant them into 3gal pots.
11 weeks from germination to harvest so there is no time for mistakes, I am super excited to see these 2 grow!
This week I transplant the seedlings into 3gal pots and I can tell for sure they did not appreciate the stress...took them 4 entire days to recover.
2 seeds were inserted into soil on March 15th, a couple of days later I decided to germinate one more bean, the third one on March 25th, we have a lil discrepancy here.
The seedlings are showing their purpleish colors already, I haven't given them any nutes so far just tap water on a spray bottle, I plan to introduce nutes on week 3, however I am still trying to decide If I should just use the GH Flora Trio nutes or go full organic with Boogie Brew Teas and natural soil amendments.... I am familiar with both fertilizing styles and lately I have been growing my cannabis fully organic... but also haven't popped any autos in a while, photoperiod plants can be much more forgiving!
Anyways I will be back next week to show what decisions were made and how the development is going.

This week the seedlings managed to recover well, growth could've been better, but it looks like they are going on the right path.
Feeding routine:
I am feeding them compost tea (Boogie Brew) 1x a week.
Foliar spray with Element xx (calcium), I use Spring water for my plants 2x a week.
See ya next week :)

Great week for the ladies, finally all recovered from transplant and started growing again, the smallest one also 10 days younger than the others have also recovered well from transplant.
I am feeding 1x a week every other week with Boogie Brew Compost Tea only, I brew the tea for 24h using fresh spring water.
I have also started some mild LST on both plants.
See ya next week :)
Here we are on week 5 the first week of flower!
I started noticing sign of nitrogen toxicity when I went to check on my notes I realized I overfed the plants ugh, my high ass should check the notes before feeding...anyways, I have given the plants a flush with PH water at 6.5 after the second feeding to reset the soil...check your notes people, don't trust your high head lol
Plants are rocking an impressive 8" in height LOL I know they still have lots of time to show their potential but geeze I'm not impressed with this genetic so far :(
Stay lit and follow me on IG @GirlGoneWeed
This week the autos had a great jump in height getting up to 15" tall and are now showing some nice purple colours on the early flowers and leaves. I keep on tying down the branches LST to make sure all bud sites receive good amounts of light. The branches are thick and flowers are coming out nice, even tho plants still look ugly and show signs of weirdness lol these genetics are something...
Stay Lit folks, see ya next week!
Nother week is over and the flower show have begin!
This week plants have really started to release this sweet fruity smell the trichomes are also showing all over around the early flowers, the purple colours are stunning. Putting on another 3 inches in heigh this week alone the 2 main plants are coming along just fine, the 3rd plant in the other hand have no purple colours so far and its quite small with very little bud sites.
Stay lit :)
The end of week 8 and shit is getting real with these 2 Black Haze autos!
Sweet fruity smells along with sparkling trichomes mixed on dark purple colours all over the beautiful flower formations, I am enjoying this development very much :)
Plants didn't grow a lot of leaves what so ever which made me intrigued at first (thinking about chlorophyll production etc...) but now they are proving the little amount of leaves they grew were enough to put on a flower show so far, plus it saved me time from doing defoliation session 👌
Now let's talk about the 3rd plant....legit wtf happened? 3 seeds same package same breeder 10 days a part from germination same soil same routine same fertilizers and the plant is just small, weird looking thing with no branches just one stumpy main stem, she is flowering actually ok for its looks, not showing the dark purple colours and yes its yield will be real small but hopefully she will put on some weight and sugah just in time for harvest.
Let me just mention one more time the amazing smell of sweet berries this plants are releasing, done.
Happy Growing, stay medicated xoxo
Another great week of delicious sweet smells and dark purple flowers, not much to report here, although its worth mentioning the calcium deficiency that appeared this week, i fixed that with some Element xx.
We are getting closer and closer to harvest and notice the insane difference between these 3 plants, I guess i got the "special" Black Haze seed pack...anyways even tho the 3rd plant is tiny she is packing some weight on that 1 cola lol. I am looking forward to smoke these purple buds.
Stay lit folks xoxo
Week 10 came in hot for these Black Haze gals, as spring forwards into summer here in Ontario temperatures have been rising, the plants got some heat stress but nothing major.
Although the Exotic Seed's seed catalog mention 11 weeks to harvest by the looks of the trichomes this gal might need another 2 more weeks to fully mature.
The third smaller plant is looking as intriguing as ever with her short weird shape packed in sugar, the buds look beautiful, it smells really sweet just like the other 2 purple plants and she is trying to pack on weight.
Stay liy xoxo
This is it folks we are on the last streach before harvest. 1 of 3 seeds actually developed nice colors, packed some nice buds, the smell of the 3 plants is absolutly out of charts, however I am disapointed with the lack of consistency in genetics. Im not even going to rant about it lol
Upon checking the tricomes none of them look ready for harvest so I will be giving these gals another week or 2 to see what happens.
I cant wait to sample it!
stay lit, xoxo
This is it, the end of an era lol. The pictures say it all, these 3 plants are just so different from one another, interesting to notice with such detail how genetics can play a huge part on what you get considering all 3 seeds came from the same package, shared the same space, soil, nutes routine etc.
They are decently loaded in trichomes and look very pretty to me, I can appreciate that!
The purple buds look dazzling, covered in sugar sparkles following a nice sweet berries scent, 😋 I can hardly wait to smoke it!
Weight is a total lost here considering the lack of consistency, quality will rein if or when I do a nice and slow dry/cure process with all the patience and love lol
Harvest pictures following on the upcoming week!
xoxo
I would try growing this strain again if It was giving for free and this time I would attempt outdoor to see the difference. Im not sure if I had bad luck with my seed pack of if this strain just need to work on its quality in terms of resistance.
