I have always found that the most colorful expressions come from the tops closest to the light. With the increased light intensity I think the plants uptake nutrients faster, possibly causing them to cannibalize a bit earlier. I am no expert but I have read several places that when growing with QB's, plants seem to use more cal mag than usual (perhaps other nutrients too). With this in mind, I have been giving an extra couple tsp of cal mag each feed, but I am new to QB's myself. Another thought, whenever I have taken photographs or videos under HPS or other blurple type LED, I get a strobing effect. Perhaps the quantums are providing more photons at a more consistent rate (since they do not strobe) equating to more overall light energy absorbed by the plant. This is just a theory from a noob, but maybe these factors could have something to do with some of the anomalies that you have described. Cheers!
