Hi all! I really do love and apreciate Delicious Seeds genetics so I thought it would be interesting to see how their strains would perform as a hole. Their new hybrids have been out around a year ago, so I though it would be interesting to compare and see how they evolved! Cheers!
Not much of a change here. Things are running smoothly without problems and the tent got full of green :) I keep low on nutes with emphasis on Nitrogen and keeping my lamp close to the plants helps me controll their height up to where i want!
Growth is going as expected this week and my tent starts looking greener forming a canopy so dense that had to be spread a bit so I started cutting fewq large fanleaves in order to let light in.
By this week some of my plants are in the preflower stage and some of them are still growing in the vegetation stage, with minor adjustments in the feeding schedule, and in generall most of them are doing great. I have fully defoliated them in order to let light in and cut back with my main nutes as I don't wanna stress the plants more than they already are.
This week buds have started forming up, and plants seem to respond pretty well to defoliation. I'm addding P and K to my feeding schedule preserving the amounts of N my plants will need for the rest of the flowering. Their heights varry from 40 to 60 cm, that allows me with even distribution to keep my lamp at around 65 cm enhancing light penetration that I will need at maximum level for bud formation.
Things seem to be working out pretty well without problems, heading straight on into a quite promising flowering period. I continue defoliating my plants, crystal are already visible and the budsites indicate yields above 700gr which is satisfying. At this point I rise my EC to 1.2 as the plants are strong enough to work with the bud formation and all strains seem to respond well to their treatment .
Nothing actually to talk about at this point, apart from watching the buds fatten up. I cut my main nute and feed only with the adittives as my water is quite rich in micro elements, especially Ca and Fe and overcharge my coco. Plants seem to work along.
Past few weeks have been running smoothly with our buds getting denser and heavier steadily. Some great dark purple hues are coming to light, thanx to the special phenos from Desconosida kush and Sugar black rose. Hopefully everything will come to an end in about a week! Cheers to all!
Easy to grow, bushy with great variations in color it is an absolute keeper for me. Have been growing it for quite some time now and I will continue to 👊
Amazing smell and taste, i was lucky enough to get some bay11 phenos absolutely frosty and purple. It hits you hard with a clear head and a heavy feeling in your body. Defo I grow this again.
This is a quite easy strain to grow with a typical smell, bit fruity and an average head. It grew pretty nice although buds came out bit airy but it was descent.
Well I ended up trying this strain only just to see how it would stand upon it's name, but I must say it was quite average on all aspects. It did grow quite well but the head was nothing specia at all. It's defenetly a day smoke .
That was a difficult grow to finish overall mainly due to external factors. I messed up really bad with the pics so the last strains harvested had almost no pics at all. I managed to pull 737 gramms out of 9 strains and a 600W HPS, which is pretty descent for me. Cheers to all, stay lifted!
Thanx, I've been playing with SOG technics for around 6 years now, mainly to fullfill my "want to have 10 strains" obsession, but it turned out to be a good solid technic to hit numbers above 1 GPW, with space efficiency and low cost operations in mind.
Great work here! Desconicida kush I begged but never got to flower when I first started, its amazing to see what one turns out like! Wish I still had her now, I think she's still in the bottom of my garden waste bin lol
Hi my friend, your plants look great. I would like to get some advices from your experiences, it's my first planting.
That's why I have problems on when to harvest my plant. Would you please look at my diary and tell me around when should I harvest my plant?
Additionaly, I'm thinking that I will have 150 gr dried harvest. What is your opinion, do I have to wait for something less? Thank you. ☺️😇
Wow just wow is what I thought, have you tried this defoliation method before? I can see what your getting at, drop the mutes limit the stress, I'd love to see how they flower! Great sog!
Now this is one extensive setup. Absolutely fantastic work here. Love the pots and the plants are absolutely beautiful. This grow will indeed be Eldorado and the journey will be one great road to follow. Cheers!
@ChefGreenThumbGardenofWeedin,Hi mate, their height would vary from 35 - 45cm and the weights of the 5 plants would be 13g, 17g, 19g, 25g, 12g accordingly.
Congratulations on your harvest I have to say thoe brother less plants give them more light and you could have a moster yield on your hands
Now i love it when it loads of strains harvested at same time get a good nosey through. I like it what’s your favourite smelling strain out of them
Did you have fun it looked it how long you been growing and are we goner get the pleasure of another diary
@no__more,you grow has many plants has you want. Have always said growing for your own pleasure it don’t matter on yield or size just growing a strain is a hell of a lot of fun
I also like to grow loads of different strain I never grow the same strain twice. I’m still trying to find that one strain I completely fall in love with. Then I will find the best phen and clone her. With there being so many strains that like a impossible task always some thing I want to try.
But over all your diary complete you have harvested five different strains week to week updates. That’s why I said hope to see more from you I’m definitely a follower
@@Tryhard, thanx for all your kind words mate, most probably you're right about working with less plants but I have issues with giving more light so I have to keep it stealth somehow. At least that was my preliminary thought but after that I reallize I also cut back times so as to fit 3 grows per year and also I have the chance to have so many strains with all their variations and different phenos and all this thing became an interesting "game" forcing me to stick to this plan, plus I get the advantage of working really low with nutes formulating small plants with minimum popcorn buds right up to my prefrences :)
For sure this time Desconisida Kush was a blast with an aliennated smell out of this world. it give s you all the charachterisitc sativa hazy hints mixed with an earthy kush aftertaste and hints of sth like cocoa cream aftertast ! Apart from that Critical kush has been once more one of the top overall plants for me with its distinct critical sweetness.
I've been growing for about 11 years now and I must say it was as fun as mindopening, if only was it legall ;) Yes I'll be back with more diaries, just had few issues for the moment but the clock keep tickin, Cheers to all :)
why 12/12 at seed? it's 100% sativa strain is it believe it's an hybrid - just want to understand- know tat 100% sativa genes. laces, ect) you ca veg them for 3 weeks and then 12/12 and a few go lower than 3 weeks veg - thanks -PEACE
Hi there, you're right that for 12/12 to work out, you mainly need sativa genes or at least a good amount of them. I mainly run this setup to keep my plants the lowest possible with no stretch. I run a tight SOG so no need for big plants here.
