Everything going well .. on end of day3 plant 1 is triple the size of day 1. Plant 2 just popped out yesterday and after one day its already rocking. Only difference is plant 2 has some micorr. Using 2 different methods on same strain (2 plants) #1 seed was germinated in cotton, put in medium and covered 2 cm deep. As soon as it popped out of medium, full power lights on. Week 1 will end on 05/04/2020(delaying 2 days, so I can start both plants on same schedule on week 2). #2 seed was germinated in cotton, put in medium and covered 2 cm deep. Since it popped out I'm keeping it with very high humidity (over 85%) and lower light for 7 days, after this it will join nr.1. Week 1 ending on 05/04/2020. Both methods with same feeding schedule for 1st week just root juice and bioheaven. From week 2 only bio heaven and bio grow and will keep it like this until end of week 6. Probably gonna use some miccorr on top layer of medium later on. Tricky part is to balance PH and keep TDS. I will try to maintain 6.2 for entire grow and scale from 400ppm to 1500ish ppm. tricky because I have 6.5 to 7ph water with 330ppm @20°C. If i balance ph to 6.2 ppm will decrease, and if I add fertilizer PH will decrease. I'm still trying to get it right, first timer here.. I will use only biobizz products for the entire grow (medium and nutrients). Tents a small one 60x60z180, only 250W HPS + 2x40W CFL (2x2700k for veg, and 2x6700k for flo) Temp oscillates from 18 to 31°C. RH oscillates from 22% to 60%. Temp and RH are a huge, huge problem for me. I aspect to rise up temp till 35-36 during last days of flowering because of outside raising temperature and that stupid hps lamp. (i love ganja and i'm too poor for leds :( ).RH will probably go even more down maybe till 19%, but I will be carefully to never rise up over 60%. We will see how it ends, I have very very small expectations, especially about THC content... I'm thinkin is related strictly to this temperature issue. Will SCROG the babies down from week 6 I think. Maybe I'll TOP one of them, but not sure about it.

Hi @OMF_OG yes 600-700ppm seems to be good for her. at this moment from what I see in your photos for her 400-500 ppm structure it seems to be ideal for me not to stress it. but this is just an idea, it is best to go and see the behavior of the plant and the colors of the leaves and you will feed according to what it asks of you. good luck mate 👍

at the moment I'm using a 250W HPS and 2 40W CFL, this takes humidity down. When I will afford LEDs do you think that the humidity will stay as per night or drop down like maximum 10% or it will have same behavior as with hps/cfl combo? Thanks

Hi @OMF_OG the more lamps and the higher power you have on, the more heat it will generate will reduce the humidity more. HPS removes a lot of moisture from the air circulating in the grow, as well as the air extractor, the more air extraction the less moisture you will have. as it will turn off the CFL and turn on leds I think the humidity will stay the same. Good luck mate

I gave one plant directly 250w hps from the moment it popped out. The other the same, but on top i ve put a plastic glass which is keeping humidity very high because i can see water on the leaves. Did I ruin in the first one ? Or it wont affect it badly?

I am not sure what you mean by "ruined". Did I miss something on your pics? I have limited germination resources, so I have put my freshly popped seedlings directly under full power lights, with little humidity mitigation. Do I stunt them or not get the most out of them while in this stage, I don't have anything to compare. But, they all wind up in the same place (great buds) at harvest time. As long I keep lights far enough away, they don't wilt, burn, or stretch. Caveat - This is using a grow cabinet, so your grow env may require other things.

Why plant in photo "Day 3 #2" have curled its leaves during the day? Check last photo "#2 end of day 3". Its same plant 18h of light before and after.

Hi! Normally plants curl the leaves upwards like that if there is too much heat or light coming to the plant and she is trying to protect her leaves with that. If your thermometer is correct and it really is 29C in there then it might be that. Also what is you relative humidity? Your vapor pressure deficit might be off (Temperature- Humidity ratio kinda)

Hey @OMF_OG! You don't explicitly have to give it, but is always good to have an amazing root system. So, yeah! Give them a little more and wait for explosive results.

Definetly overwatering, will reduce water and hope for best. Feeling sad about it. :( Reducing slowly amount of ppm... After this week will use only bioheaven and biogrow for next 3 weeks. I'll switch to 12/12 on end of week 5 and change feeding schedule to: -bio bloom -bio heaven -top max (later on, when buds are forming)

hey there, that is actually some root problems due to past overwatering, there is probably some light form of water mold there , you need to fix the problem roots by breaking them down using a chelation agent such as enzymes, humic acid or beneficial bacteria. Hope this helps! 🚀

Hi @OMF_OG it seems to me stress due to the substrate being soaked together with the topping, the plant is under stress. you will have to let the substrate dry well between each irrigation and apply less water in each irrigation you give it. controls watering by the weight of the pot, the wet substrate weighs a lot and when it is dry it becomes very light. good luck mate 👍

Hi bro don't worry much, your plants look great :-) Always make the pot light and light, then you can be sure that not too much water is given. If you have doubts I would let it get a bit drier, and then flush a little with Ph and Ec regulated water, a little Cal / Mag would still be quite good :-) Keep it up so you really do it great bro 🍀🌱😎

I typically trim most of the lower leaves as they don't receive much light anyway. Photoperiod plants can handle a lot of stress so I usually go ham on them and strip the bottom 1/3rd of the plant of all leaves, bud sites, and small branches that won't get any light. With autos I don't strip as much from the bottom of the plant, mostly just some fan leaves here and there that aren't doing anything. I do highly recommend at least tucking the leaves at the top of the plant that are blocking potential bud sites from receiving light. Pruning those same leaves won't really hurt the plant. Photoperiods bounce back from heavy defoliation pretty quickly. Autos are more prone to being stunted by stress so it is a good idea to go slow when cutting any leaves off the plant. I can't imagine not doing some sort of overall defoliation though. The plants get so dense and busy that if you don't do something to allow light to reach further in the plant, the lower buds won't develop nearly as well. On top of that humidity will be higher and harder to manage and there is a higher risk of rot and mold. Feel free to message me if you need more help! Good luck!
