Plants are still short, lowered the light to 18" above plants and increased watering to .25 gal. I am not sure if I am doing things correctly, always appreciate feedback.

What do I need to do to make sure this plant grows to its' full potential, and what strategies (trimming, LST) should I use to make bigger buds?

@Rojif hi mate when the plants branches get longer you can use some LST to tie them down so that the plant grows an even flat canopy with multiple colas rather than just the one main bud Ph if its really on 8?? then it will definately need to come down to between 6.2-7 with 6.5 being about spot on. the humidity you have listed is perfect for flowering but a little low for vegetation but you can raise it a little by spraying with a misting type water bottle No Need for defoliation at this stage Good luck with your grow mate 👍

I attempted to try LST and snapped one of the colas that came from the topping, fortunately, it was not snapped all the way off and I just let it be for the week to let it heal and so it did.

I had some dichotomous Earth at the bases and I believe some of the splotches came from when I was trying to kill some fungas gnats.

Hi @Rojif Eggs, larvae, and pupa, will all live in the top inches of the soil. They will need moisture and fungal spores to survive. By simply allowing the top 2 inches of your medium to dry out between waterings, you will make it harder for the fungus gnats to live there. At the very least, this will massively reduce the amount of bugs in the grow room. Most cases of bugs and pests can be put down to bad waterting practise. It is vital, especially when growing with soil or organically, to allow the medium to dry out a little between waterings. Good luck mate 🙏👍

Still growing strong with Topping and LST pushing back a few weeks of flowering. I am hoping that raising the light will encourage the plants to reach higher and then by next week I want to start flowering.

Was getting ready to flower this week and decided against it. Letting these ladies grow out as much as they can =]. Next week has better pictures.

This week was supposed to be their first flowering but I nixed it. I want them to grow to about 50cm into a Screen of Green and I am currently just letting her grow as high as she can, hoping it is going to only be one more week!

So I was going to flower her back on 4/20, but I did not. I opted to get her to the optimal grow height, waiting till she hits between 40-50cm before I start the flower process. hopefully one more week!

Ah forget it, I am impatient considering I have been growing her since before quarantine started. I just switched the light schedule to 12-12 two days ago and the first white hair has appeared! July 12th estimated harvest date.

After I finally caved in making this girl flower, I am beginning to be pleasantly surprised. She had a 10cm growth spurt in a week and is showing signs of flowering. Looking forward to a good smell, nothing strong yet.

After growing for the first time I do not know if I like photo period or autos yet, have to see what this girl comes up with. No purple flowers or leaves though, nice frosty nugs are coming with ligthly orange hairs.
