Will cranking the power up on the light boost growth early on or do I just need to wait it out a bit? Currently at 75 watts about 20 inches away

Hi @SN420 if you give it more light it will grow more, but that does not justify more heat and more electricity bills, vegetatives with a lot of light power in my point of view only pays off in automatic plants. I think 75w / 100w is ideal for her to have a quick vegetative. good luck 👍

Had a couple little flies in the tent, put a fly trap thing up and it's working well. Day 18 update - Bit of a face palm moment today, checked the wattage and the light was running at about 35 so I've turned it up to 75 and dropped the light to 18 inches. The problem was I marked the dimmer switch at 50, 100, 150, 200 and max intervals but I thought the first interval was 100.....not 50. Let's see what the extra power does. Day 20 Update - Light was definitely too close as its drying the soil out and the plant seems a bit droopy.

Day 23 - First day in her big girl pot :) roots were looking good, they had completely filled the pot and started rooting in to the bigger pot. Day 28 - End of the first month and she seems happy. I think I will FIM at some point next week, another 3 weeks of veg/training and I'll flip to flower.

Start of week 6 and I have a plan. The lower shoots are growing well so I'm going to try to get them to the top whilst keeping the upper growth level by LST and I might try ponytailing..... Day 38 - I think I've been under watering so gave her a load in the morning and looks like she responded well to it Day 41 - 2 days of 8 hour ponytailing seems to have helped the lower growth, main shoot is now supercropped to further help. First day of some liquid nutrients, I added 1g of GreenHouse enhancer to 1l of water and fed 500ml. I'll wait to finish off the bottle then defoliate as shes looking a bit bushy. Next week I'll add some BioBizz grow and start thinking about flipping to flower 😋 Also had some signs of light burn so light is now 20 inches from canopy and set at 125 watts. Thinking of keeping at this wattage as any higher might be too much for her and being limited by 140cm might cause issues? Day 42 - End of another week. Noticed the temps were getting high and have attributed it to keeping the LED driver on top of the tent. I've moved it to the wall next to it and positioned it slightly higher than the tent so hopefully that helps. Plant seems ok, waiting for her to fill out a bit before I flip to flower.

Day 43 - Done a bit of defoliation and shes looking better for it. Think I'll get rid of the darker leaves around the top in a day or so. Day 44 - decided to take the rest of the darker leaves off as it was annoying me and blocking the lower growth. Temps were at 28°c so I might switch to the temp controller to handle the exhaust fan as opposed the humidity controller. Also added half a cap of BioBizz grow to 2l of water. Day 45 - Accidently snapped her head off! I was trying to bend it down a bit not realising how tight it was and it just snapped. Think I could have tried taping but decided to chop it off and go with an accidental top. Doesn't seem to have harmed her. Decided to put the top in some Grenhouse Feeding Enhancer to see if I can get a clone. Thinking of doing an outdoor DWC in a huge stone pot. Day 49 - The difference between the start of the week and end is amazing. I will be testing how light proof the tent is and flipping to flower at the end of next week. Thinking of buying an intake fan to help keep temps and humidity lower during flower. Oh yeah shes been named Patricia Punch aka Purple Patty

Day 50 - I'm thinking this might be the last week of veg.... Day 51 - Looking a bit bushy again so will most likely defoliate in a couple days. Day 57 - Last day of veg. Put a Scrog net on to help keep it all level before the stretch in flower.

First week of flower let's see what happens.... Adding half a cap of BioBizz BioBloom to every 2l of water Day 63 - Bit of defoliation on the lower part of the branches and cut a couple weak shoots that didn't make it to the top. Day 64 - End of the first week of flower and she's definitely stretched a bit and showing the first signs of flower.

Day 65 - I've noticed I had 8 days in one of the weeks and its messed the numbers up. 2nd week of flower and still looking good. Been adding half a cap of BioGrow to 2l of water alongside the BioBloom. Think I'll keep that until week 3 of flower, then 3 weeks of just Bloom and then a 2/3 week flush. Day 70 - Coming along nicely. The clone has finally sprouted a root! Took about 3 weeks, added the tip of a Aloe leaf plus its juice about 4 days ago.

Day 78 - Really humid today! Reports were saying as high as 77% and the tent struggled, sitting around 62% on average. Lots of defoliation to the lower parts of the branches and moved her around in the scrog. She is now on half a cap (Generous half) of BioBloom to a 2l bottle of water and takes about a day n a half to get through it. Not looking too bad though and she brings a smile to my face every time I open the tent 😋 Fingers crossed the humidity issues don't continue🤞 Day 79 - As a precaution I decided to let the soil dry up almost completely and then feed her as and when she needed little by little Day 82 - Someone gave me an Eagle Eyes Action Man birthday card and I found it hilarious so decided to take some pics with him (lockdown boredom getting to me!😂) Shes smelling very sweet with a very nice hint of berries Day 84 - End of another week, they're going quick but at the same time too slow. Looking good to me...

Hi can anyone tell me why the upper leaves are always pointing up? Some of the buds do get stuck to stem because of it but they're not feeling too moist so seems fine. It's probably nothing but does seem a bit odd

Day 92 - Tent temperature reached 30°C today, hope shes ok with it as there's not a lot I can do 😁 Day 95 - The outdoor greenhouse got blown over today and I literally had the little one in my hands, nearly cried!😂 Put her back in the soil and fingers crossed she survives. Day 98 - End of week 6 of flower and look at her!!!😍 I'm well and truly addicted to this now. But it's not over yet, shes still got a while to go. Barneys site says between 50 and 60 days of flower so I'm thinking start a flush on on day 45 but will judge as it gets closer. A few leaves are dropping off and some are yellow but the majority are holding a bit of green. I'm now using 1/4 cap of grow and 1/2 cap of bloom to 2l of water.

Day 100 - A lot of the hairs are still white and there's only a few amber tricomes so went with one last feed of half a cap of each....large half of bloom. Day 104 - Started the flush today, nothing but filtered water.

Day 106 - So I'm hoping this is the final week. Shes looking good apart from a little patch where it looks like she was trying to turn in to a he. It could just me being paranoid but I'll keep an eye on it as it doesn't seem too bad. Day 110 - The buds are still getting fatter, still lots of white hairs, signs of new bud growth on top of bud and tricomes are not 100% cloudy and only a few amber ones. I think shes still got a few days left in her. Day 111 - A lot of the hairs darkened over night. Day 112 - Ok so this wasn't the last week.....on to the next.

Day 113 - Ok so this definitely has to be the last week 🤞😂 I'm thinking one more day of growth (But what do I know?) and then chop in the morning an hour before lights on. Day 116 - Tricomes are still filling with cloudiness and not many are amber. A couple of the hairs have turned a nice orange colour that I cant pick up on camera. It's got to be soon surely!..... Day 119 - I'm glad I left her as the buds are looking even better, much frosties and lighter in colour. I'm going to cut when there's more amber tricomes.

Day 125 - So tomorrow is definetly the last day, I'll give her a full day of growth and then cut before lights on Day 126 - I still don't bloody know if I should chop or not! Day 22 of the flush and shes looking and smelling beautiful, lots of purple in the buds but there's also green growth like more little "budlets" are going to form. I popped 4 fully formed seeds out today so I'm thinking do it sooner rather than later....

30/07/2020 I enjoyed every minute of this grow and it's safe to say I'm hooked. I've learnt a lot and I think I'm going to have to devise a plan for the next run to make it more professional. Very easy to grow and responded well to the training, buds came out looking and smelling very nice in the end with some good patches of purple. The smell is beautiful, mouthwatering berries with a sweetness to it. I seriously cant wait to try. Slight downside is there was some seeds but the damage doesn't seem too bad, I'll inspect further once dry. So I chopped the branches off about 2-3 inches from the lowest bud, bent the end around a coat hanger and tied up. 4 big branches per coat hanger x 3 and 1 coat hanger with 2 medium branches on, 14 in total and I would like to have at least 2 oz's for my efforts 🤞 I've left the bottom of the tent slightly open with a USB fan on the floor running on the lowest setting and a intake fan set to turn on if the humidity raises above 50%. After that they'll go in 2 x 2l Mason jars for a couple weeks for a cure. Day 131 - So it only ended up filling one 2l jar which was a bit disappointing. Buds are coated in tricomes and looking frostier than the stuff I had to pay for today so fingers crossed it comes out nice. I'm going to "burp" for an hour every 12 hours for a few days and see where we're at from there. Day 134 - 8 days after chop and 4 days in to cure and the buds are smelling F*ING beautiful! They're still a bit sticky so they've been separated in to big buds in a 1l, medium/good buds in another 1l and the rest in the big pot. I actually had a complaint from the neighbours during a burp so I'm limiting them to a couple minutes throughout the day.....wish I had land away from people where I didn't have to worry about this. It's funny how you can still get looked down on for using this plant even though it helps so many..... But I'm smiling every time the lids are off and the aroma fills the room so there's always positives in life! 09.08.2020 Day 137 - So its finally dry enough to smoke but definetly needs longer curing. First pull was so clean and smooth and there's a real nice taste of berries that reminded me of Zkittles. Ash started off looking white but as I got to the end of the joint I could tell it still needed some of the green matter flushing out so I'll continue to burp for a few minutes twice a day. I'm really happy with the end product, I really had low expectations for "home grown" but I think I did alright on my first try and I've ended up with some really potent fruity bud. Now I need to find a space where I can grow enough for the amount I consume which won't be easy. 29.09.2020 Final Update - All smoked apart from a 1/2 oz which I'll be saving for XMAS. Really enjoyed the grow and really satisfied with the final product. After seeing my pots get empty and then having to pay a high price for not so great weed I'm considering getting another grow going. 4 x 12l pots with PEV Seeds Blueberry Auto and AK47 Auto and also Sweet Seeds Black Cream Auto and Tropicanna Poison Fast Version. Should give me some nice variety for the new year. Outdoor grows are looking good. 1.1 and 1.3 have been fed nothing and 1.2 has had some Plagron flowering stuff. Shout out to anyone who gave support along the way👍
