They are starting to grow nice. Short now from LST. In a few weeks they will be bushes! Still plucking a hand full of leaves everyday to unblock lower shoots. After LST and everyday defoliation I will have around 75 tops per plant. 10 weeks veg from seed and I should get 1 pound if these genetics are good!
Plants are looking great. No issues. Runoff ppm was a little high. I usually do a flush a week before 12-12. Almost 2 months of nutrients need some extra water to flush out the extra salts. Pots usually take 2 gallons of water with a little runoff. I put another gallon of water in each pot. Always let my soil dry out real good before I water. In a week I'm going to take clone and a few days later I'll make the switch.
Plants are growing great like always. Created individual scrog for each plant. Cut down some bamboo sticks and stuck them through a hole in the rim of the pot. I used a piece of duct tape to keep the bamboo in place. Its easier for me when i can move each pot. If I had a floor drain i would make one big scrog for the water runoff. The Terple strain is still on the left and I really like how its growing. The Orange Velvet Underground is still on the right. One of the OVU is really short and bushy. For me it's to bushy. I like a little spacing between nodes. Maybe it will space out during the stretch. I gave them a half dose of nutes since the ppm runoff was a little high last week. Right now im watering every 5 days. Soon it will be every 2-3 days. One watering with nutes and the next with pure water. Im always checking ppm of the runoff, every watering.
12-12 will start in a few days. I'll take a few clones today. Was thinking of trying monster cropping, taking clones 21 days into flowering. Has anyone done monster cropping? If so, how did it go? Usually I switch the MH for the HPS when I switch to 12-12. Was thinking of running the MH a couple more weeks, but I feel like the HPS really get the plant to initiate flowering. I've grown Gorilla Glue a few times. I'm hoping that these seeds don't disappoint. Can't wait to see! I'll only be happy with 1 pound or more!
Today is day 5 in flower. They are growing good. Noticed some of the leaves have some brown edges, anyone know why? I never have leaf problems so this troubles me. I think it's from the foliar spray. Never used it before this grow. I spray them once a week with a 1/2 dose at lights off. So I'm not using that any more. They are starting to smell a little more. I plucked off about ten leaves off per plant today. Usually I pluck a few off every day but I skipped a couple days. I'll switch to HPS at day 7. Also the next water I'll mix half veg and half flower nutes. Added a wall fan this week. Also painted the floor and one wall white. The exhaust fan is on for 15 min then off for 15 min. Can't wait for these ladies to really start stinking.
Took clones about a week ago. Put them under a small T-5 light. There is a water pump the sprays water all around the inside of the clone bucket. Solution inside of clone bucket is 200ppm.
Day 12 of flower. Switched to the HPS bulb after 1 week of 12-12. Started 1/2 flower and 1/2 veg nutes after 1 week of 12-12. Everything is going good. Smell is starting to get a little stronger. No problems with new leaves. Transplanted some of the clones. Waiting for other clones to root some more. Im still taking a hand full of leaves every day or two. Lots of tops! Lot's of light! Can't wait for these ladies to really start smelling good in a couple weeks!
Turned my light to super lumens, 1100 watts! Did a couple defoliations this week and also lollipop. Plants are eating plenty right now. Leaves are looking good. Smell is getting stronger. Exhaust fan is on 24/7 on low. Another week and these ladies will be smelling great. Clones are doing good. Waiting on my new led to come in the mail. I got the Mars Hydro ts1000. Hope it doesn't disappoint.
Day 26 of flower! My girls are eating great. Smelling strong! Watering 2 1/2 gallons per pot, every 4 days. Im almost half way through flowering and im so happy. All the hard work. Not looking forward to trimming all these tops lol. Good thing is one strain is 8-9 weeks for flower, the other is 9-10. So I'll have more time to trim. Clones are doing good.
Day 33. Plants are looking great. Smell is getting stronger every day. I used full strength nutes the last few waterings. My girls are eating good! A little Purple is showing on the Terple strain. Made some Fruity Pebble THC Treats and man were they good.
Day 40 of flower. Ladies are smelling real nice. OVU has a real orange smell. Terple has an orange fruity and a hint of gas smell. Canopy is nice and flat with lots of tops. OBU has roughly 3 weeks till chop. Terple has roughly 4 weeks till chop. The next couple weeks they should put on some good weight. They are eating real nice. Cant wait for the purple to really start showing.
Ladies are smelling real nice. Lot of citrus smell. Started the 10 day flush for Orange Velvet. Terple will be flushed in a week. 10 days till harvest, roughly 7 of drying, 7 days in jars and I can finally try out my ladies!
Day 55 flower. Terple on the left is getting purple and frosty. Orange Velvet has a very strong orange fruity smell. Ill be trimming orange velvet this weekend and trimming terple next weekend. 10 day flush before harvest. Oh the trimming will be so much fun lol
@Growgirl1114, thanks! Are you talking about LST or SCROG? Both go hand in hand. LST is more essential than the SCROG. LST will get you all the tops. I also defoliate a hand full of leaves every day. A SCROG will help spread the tops and also support them so they pack on more bud weight, instead of growing the stems thicker so they don't snap.
@EthosMultipassMemberRovairok, thanks! I've done probably 1000 hours of research my whole life. And I'm still learning! I've only grown for a few years on and off. It's all about trial and error. Never had any serious issues. Maybe since I baby my plants lol
