Hi everybody!I always wonder why they have never described the period since germination till planting in their reports, that’s why I include it into the first week. Germination method is shown in the pictures, suppose, it’s clear what and how. I used 5 seeds for germination, and all seeds geminated in 5-6 days. Unfortunately, one died as I broke its stem. It took 18 days since germination till topping and fim – cutting.
I transplanted plants into RDWC, and increase EC of the solution up to 500 ppm. Cutting was good for plants. I added Diamond Nectar into the solution. Note! Only one pump runs the solution in the system, temperature fluctuation within a day during the whole cycle – 16 – 21 C, and it is a good bonus for the plants in a cold time period. At the end of the week I turned the lighting to 12/12.
I increased EC up to 700 ppm. Plant ovaries are forming. I drained half of the solution, added osmotic water + Bloom nutrition. A special sweet smell started to appear
Then I added GHE BioBloom booster: 5 ml/10l
Increased EC up to 800 ppm. I also added one more Led-light. The smell have become stronger, so I set a carbon filter. There is not enough space in the tent for a floor fan.
EC of the solution: 800 ppm. I changed the tent 120*120 for 120*240, and also changed control tank from 20l to 70l to avoid pH fluctuations. When cleaning the system I broke the pH electrode – what a shame! So I have to check pH level manually, no automation at all)) plants started to absorb less solution, that’s why a grained 1/3 of the solution and added pure water, decreasing ppm to 700.
I ordered a new pH electrode
The smell in the tent has become citric and sweet
All the plants develop equally
Maximum solution consumption is 10 L per day
I got my new Ph tester, but I had no chance to use it, as it was the last week of feeding plants. So I check pH level manually. Leaves and flowers are getting purple tint.
Ppm 700, solution consumption - 8L per day.
