Amaya The coconut substrate was washed and buffered, loosened with perlite in a ratio of 1 part perlite to 3 parts coconut. Watering is daily until drainage, to prevent the concentration of salts from increasing as it dries. Water parameters for watering are pH 7.0 and ppm 170.
Amaya Soon it's time to transplant into a bigger pot!

Amaya On day 18 from the cap, I transplanted into a 10-liter pot, and I also trimmed the first pair of colas as they seemed the least promising. The leaf stems have a pinkish color, and this week I will increase the amount of phosphorus in the nutrient mix.

Amaya Alaska has grown a lot in a week, almost reaching the lamps with its tops. It's very humid in the box, so I sprayed it with fitosporin to prevent mold formation.

Amaya I switched to the flowering nutrient schedule, G/B/M 1/3/2. Its NPK profile is as follows: N90:P75:K145:Ca50:Mg60. Still giving two liters to each pot, but I reduced the concentration to 500ppm, with a drainage of 400 ml. I sprayed with phytosporin again.

Amaya The tips of the leaves are slightly burning, so I reduced the solution concentration and increased the watering frequency to twice a day with two liters each time. It's hot in the box, 30°C, and the ventilation is running at full power. Alaska has very beautiful large trichomes, as if covered in frost, with a fruity smell that's not too strong.

Amaya This week I did a little defoliation, the foliage is very dense and blocks the lower buds, they aren't getting enough light, so they're pale and not maturing, but it's better now.
There was some mold in the box, it affected one small cola, I cut off the damaged part and treated it with 3% hydrogen peroxide, and sprayed the bush with phytosporin.
The mold is located in the center of the box against the back wall, apparently the fans aren't reaching there.

Amaya A partial harvest took place in Alaska on day 90 from the cap and day 55 of flowering; I cut off the entire top, it has fully ripened, and there are even some amber spots in places. I left the bottom to ripen, I’ll remove some leaves for better airflow. I’m watering the remaining bush with a brew for ripening B/M 4/2, the NPK profile is as follows: N60:P100:K140:Ca50:Mg60, one liter twice a day.

Amaya The lower buds continue to ripen, turning from pale green to purple. They are just as trichome-rich as the chopped top of the bush. The heat has come to us, and it's 35°+ in the box, no mold so far, looks like this temperature isn't to its liking :)
Dynavap The New M.

Amaya This is my first time growing this strain, and it's my first experience with coconut substrate and using LED lights, so the review won't be fully objective, just describing this particular grow.
The germination and viability of the seeds are good, the seedlings came up together and without problems, there were initially two, I kept the strongest one.
In the veg stage, the plant develops very vigorously, growing huge dark green leaves, the growth rate is truly impressive, 16 inches at 4 weeks from the seedling.
In pre-flowering, the internodes elongate quite a bit, growth increases by 2.5 times, showing its sativa ancestors, to control the growth I had to pinch the stems of the most active colas.
Alaska forms small but very resinous buds, the trichomes cover not only the buds but also the sugar leaves and bases of the leaves, from the very bottom to the tops.
In the last two weeks, it turns purple, which looks very striking with the large white trichomes.
Alaska is not picky about food, in the middle of flowering I slightly over-salted the nutrient mix, and it handled it fine, only the tips of the leaves got burnt.
This cycle wasn't without its troubles, in the box due to a very humid summer, mold settled in, despite additional airflow and spraying with phytosporin.
Several colas were seriously affected, but still less than the nearby Gelato.
With this strain under LEDs, you can easily achieve g/w.
@Amaya, don't say that. Some can't see it, but for others, it's a clear pre-flower. The light green tint on the tops is a clear symptom of the beginning of flowering.
@Amaya, in my current grow, I grew in a small pot for the first time for a later transplant, although I usually plant directly in the main pot. Well, I wouldn't say that a lot of roots have grown, but it's decent. I transplanted into a big pot 3 days ago. Not only did the roots start coming out of the drainage holes in big clumps, but they also popped up at the top right into the light. It's crazy. This is what mycorrhiza, trichoderma, and hay bacillus do. My roots apparently can't keep up with the plant, which is why the leaves were so curly. Now it seems like new ones are growing normally. We'll see.
@Kanndera, mold spores are always in the air, but they only germinate under suitable conditions; it seems the fan isn't circulating here, hence the increased humidity and mysterious life of the fungi. :)
@Harmar, usually in the last weeks of flowering, you start thinking about what else to grow in some interesting way.
I actually don't like manicuring; you end up all sticky with resin, your nose itches for sure, and your back hurts, so yeah, it's a sad holiday! :)
