What is up guys?! Super excited to start this one off! Firstly a big shout to RQS for the care package. Looking forward to seeing the positive effects their products may have. I plan to run both on easy boost in biobizz light mix. I’m also going to use the easy combo pack. Hopefully this’ll keep them going most of the way. I’m going to have one queen in a 15L the other in a 7.5. The one queen will be going in a smaller pot to start approx 5L then transplant to the 15 later on. This time round I’ll be using filtered water so I guess I’ll see if there’s any differences. They germinated super fast but sadly the easy start germination didn’t go well with all tap roots coming out the top so all I did was repot them and they seem all good now. Any tips and advice is appreciated! Stay safe and Happy growing😎🌱🍁 Day 1: 31/03/20 Added mini hygrometers on the pots too keep an eye on humidity, I’ve removed humidity domes as the humidity was through the roof with them covered up. Third day in and I’ve watered them both with 50-60ml of filtered water at ph6.

What’s up guys! Day 8 for the sherbet queens, both are progressing nicely. SQ1 is a bit behind SQ2. Unsure if this is because the light is slightly further away or if it because it’s in a plastic pot and not a fabric. I’ve been giving them 100 ml for the last week and started giving 150ml to the SQ1 and 200ml to the SQ2. Temperature and humidity aren’t great I don’t think but the plants don’t show any negatives and seem to be loving life. Excited to see what comes next! Planning some topping, lst and defoliation for these two. The top half of my other plant has now come down so I’ve been able to get the lamp that bit closer to the babies. Hopefully this has a positive effect on growth and they start shooting even faster. Stay safe and happy growing!🌱🍁

What’s up guys! Day 15 for the sherbet queens. They’re getting on nicely, although Smaller growth tacos very very slightly in the day when hot and flattens out again once lights go off. Heat is a little high in the day as it’s getting hot outside and I just can’t cool it down, I’m hoping to go down the LED road very soon. I added extra which has helped a bit. SQ2 has a leaf with a tiny lighter green mark on it, don’t think it’s anything major. Yesterday I changed their pots despite being recommended to wait a little longer, both came straight out of there pots whole with no distruption being made to the roots and so far they show no negative signs to being transplanted. Very excited to see these progress. I watered both a tiny bit today with RQS grow tablets hopefully that has a positive effect on them both, SQ2 is slightly further ahead than SQ1 but anything can happen and they may swap places, who knows😅 I’m hoping to try some topping and LST on both plants and was wondering what order you guys all do it in? Thanks and happy growing✌️🌱🍁 Update: very early hours of day 17 and I decided to lst her along with my other plants, perhaps it’s something to do with constant air blowing on them but all stems are very rigid, not a bad thing but I see the potential in them being unbendable if I leave them too much longer, hopefully they all love it, Pictures to follow in the next update, see you next week✌️

Hey guys! Day 22 for both sherbet queens, growth has been nice considering the transplants and both being introduced to LST, they’ve reacted nicely to it and I’ll now leave them to grow a fair amount before doing more LST, I’m going to be doing only LST on one of the plants and LST and topping on the other, unsure which plant will get what yet. We’ll see which one develops the strongest and top that one😁 perhaps I’ll do the topping on the plant in the larger pot. Who knows😁 they must’ve enjoyed the grow tablet water, consuming it rather quickly, they’ve recieved a plain watering since then, larger pot with 750ml and the smaller pot with 500ml. Both ph 6.0-6.08. Even with those amounts of water at such a young age they’re going to need watering again tomorrow, they’re either some thirsty ass plants or my hps is drinking it🤣 I’m thinking more likely thirst plants as my others are doing just fine under the same light😅 Happy growing✌️🌱🍁

Day 29: rectified a couple of things, pH has been too high and since correcting growth has been great, I’ll probably keep them in veg for a while longer yet, despite what I said last week I went ahead and topped them both after the 7th node started to grow, so far so good, I’ll give them the week before attempting anything else. Both plants are starting to drink a bit more water, not a problem as it keeps me busy. Excited to see what they do next✌️ if you’re reading this part then I haven’t yet updated all the other stats, I’ll do that all tomorrow and update, happy growing✌️🍁

Grow Questions

Ema26started grow question 5 years ago
how long is it possible to veg for?My original plan was to separate these two from my autos but that’s now not a option, Without giving 12/12 to my autos It could take me to 15 weeks of veg growth for these two. Would that be okay assuming I can keep them within the space? Thanks

15 weeks of veg growth with 8-10 weeks of flower. 23-25 weeks old. They are gonna be huge or should be.

Day 36: what’s up everyone! Both recovered nicely from the topping a while back and today I went a bit crazy on defoliation, the fan leaves were massive with all the side branches getting tangled all over, i defoliated both plants of there main fan leaves and all that remains is the side branches and their leaves, perhaps this isn’t the best way to go about things but we’ll see how they recover! Unfortunately circumstances mean I need to complete all my plants ASAP so they’ve started 12/12 light as of tonight, I’ll give them the RQS flower boost tablet at some point when I feel necessary, the only thing left to do is pray these can finish up before I’m forced to dismantle my garden🙏 thanks and happy growing✌️🍁

Day 43: both girls are looking nice and healthy, SQ2 seems to recover from anything you throw her way very quickly so she’s undergone some more lst and defoliation. However SQ1 still seems to be stressed about the topping so she’s being left alone, but she’s getting there slowly. They’ve been getting 12/12 for 7 days now and there’s no difference yet, hopefully next week will be the first flowering week! I may possibly push them onto the bloom tablets this week, this might help both girls changeover. Any tips are greatly appreciated! Thanks for reading! Happy growing!✌️🍁

Day 50: again both girls are still looking good👌 they’re both chugging along slowly but this is down to a mess up in my light schedule, they went from 18/6 to 12/12 and then 24/0 by accident and now back to 12/12 again, time will tell how this has effected them, I think I can see a few pistils here and there, hopefully this doesn’t cause a hermie or a re vegging plant🤔 they do look slightly droopy in the photos but this is just before they got watered and I can now confirm they’re both standing tall✌️ thanks for reading happy growing👌

Day 57: both girls are looking good👌 SQ1 is looking thirsty today so tomorrow I’ll water them both, they seem settled with the 12/12 schedule now after messing it up last week, both are starting to slowly stretch and pump out pistils, due to the light cycle mess up I’ll keep a close eye on them making sure they don’t hermie or something, excited to see these two expand👌 thanks and happy growing✌️🍁 Any of the data regarding temps,ph,ppm etc is from last week and I’m going to update it all tomorrow✌️

Week c/o Day 78: Photos from day 80: well a couple things this week, they’re progressing nicely considering the lack of care due to being busy at work etc, I’m going to increase the water they’re receiving and add some nutes to go with it, as we start week 12 the easy boost nutrition seems to have become ineffective just like it says on the bag👌 hopefully adding some nutes to her next feed will pick up any issues she’s got, however she’s still progressing nicely and starting to push out sugar and fattening. Thanks and happy growing!✌️🍁

@CRiSPrGrow, that’s good to know, 5% isn’t much really, my last grow was with a cfl so my end result will still be better than my last grow😁 I didn’t know that, I kept my last grow 18/6 the whole way and wasn’t too impressed with the final product, yeah it is but it makes sense, I always see more growth during the dark period so it confirms my theory a little bit, thanks for your help✌️
CRiSPrGrow
CRiSPrGrowcommented5 years ago
@Ema26, well what i can tell you right now about 12/12 for autos is that you will lose less than 5% biomass total and the final product will be stronger than with more light intensity. It's always a good idea to reduce the light schedule towards the end of an auto's cycle because light degrades THC, CBD and terpenes and anyway a plant will do most of it's growing in the dark periods. I know this is the opposite of many things you read about autos online, but at least it's the truth 🚀
Ema26
Ema26commented5 years ago
@CRiSPrGrow, yes that helps! Thanks🙏 My plan is to flip them to 12/12 once my youngest autos hit flower, perhaps this will stop me getting the most from the autos but time and space will prevent me keeping them going for too long, thankyou✌️

Topping and Lst depends on what you want from your girls and where they’re at in their development. I usually top at the 5th or the 6th node. That way I get 8-10 side branches. And then I top again, so plus 4 tops. LST as soon as possible on the side branches. Luckily the Sherbet Queen is very easy to work with 😉 With soft, long branches. Check out this page, there’s lots of info in there on basically everything: https://www.cocoforcannabis.com/

Ema26commented5 years ago
@Green_Dream, I’ve not got anything planned just yet, feel they’ve got a lot to go before I start anything. I was going to too the 7th node, would you recommend one lower? She’ll probably go another couple weeks depending on growth before lst. That’s good to hear😅many thanks I’ll check it out!
