The plant is just ripening as of day 84. Outdoor grows usually take a bit longer to finish, so she might take another couple weeks even though I would have harvested an indoor auto by now. The buds are good sized for an otherwise compact plant. The buds will definitely need a cleaning before being consumed, as there is a lot of various outdoor debris stuck in the trichomes. Happy growing everyone!

This is the first cannabis plant I have grown outdoors/in the middle of the city. Usually I have tent filters and the plant stays clean. Any tips for rinsing off the plant and cleaning the buds before harvest, without causing mold or otherwise damaging the bud?

This is a washing technique that I've been told and I'm using it for my next harvest but without the first (H2O2) step: First tub...warm water with h202 i get the 40v from sally second tub...warm water with 15 gallons and 1 box of baking soda and 16oz of lemon juice third tub...plain warm water 4th tub...cool water

Hi, do you have experience with this kind of bag? What do you do next, plant it? Thanks!! I have 50 and dunno what to do

@Psilocubensis, great, it's worth a try! I was worried about the same thing, and when I used them for the first time I tried cutting them open, transplanted too early, and caused some mild stress due to root damage. But they have worked well since I started just letting them do their thing. See if they work for your grow style, as I've been a fan l after figuring them out 👍

@Cheeba_Inu, Great!! I'll try them! I was scared of the root getting tangled by the tissue! Thanks

@Psilocubensis, the seedling fiber bags I am using? These bags can be planted directly into the grow medium as roots will pass right through them and they will slowly degrade. They can also be cut open for a transplant, but I find this causes a bit too much root loss as roots get attached to the fibers. I like the bags more than solo cups because they keep the grow medium very well aerated while the seedling are not drinking much water, which can speed up growth a little. There are already roots pushing through some of the bags, but I like waiting for a slightly stronger root ball to form before transplanting.

Man you ducks are impressive. Check out mine, is there anything I should be doing to boost veg

@Cheeba_Inu, thanks. I'm on 2 x 35w cfl 6000kv. Set up is terrible cause it is only make shift until I move outside.
Cheeba_Inu
Cheeba_Inu
@Lordspock, I took a look and the plant is healthy, just a bit small! Mine was started with lights indoors which can be faster for the plant. I would make sure it's getting as much light as possible, and that it doesn't get overwatered while so young. As long as you are noticing new growth and it hasn't stalled out, you should be fine. It might just end up a little dank plant 🌱👍

@Mongo28, thanks! Germinating a single seed of a strain always makes me nervous! ⚰️🌱

Neat. At this stage it could pass as a garden vegetable.

Really cool garden you have! The auto duck is a wonderful little plant! best of luck with it and have it surrounded by fragrant plants if you move it outdoors and if you have nosy neighbours 😀
Cheeba_Inu

@@occultgreen420, thanks! I am hoping all the garden veggies and flowers keep it pretty hidden after the move, but I am lucky to be able to legally cultivate so hopefully neighbors can find something better to do with their time lol

Really cool grow. I hope they make more crosses with duckfoot
Cheeba_Inu
Cheeba_Inu
@Odissey, I hope so! If I had more growing room I would love to cross it with something more potent and sticky like zkittles or GSC and see what crazy hybrids could come out of it. No idea if the leaf genetics are dominant or recessive though.

I've been checking other ducks on here and mine look 2 weeks behind of what they should be. I've only looked at outdoors. They are stretching a good bit the past couple of weeks. The weather hasn't been great lots of rain and cloudy.
Cheeba_Inu
Cheeba_Inu
@Lordspock, I took a look at them, and they seem healthy even if they are a little small! They also look like they may stretch a little longer, so even though they are taking longer they may catch up a little. Outdoor plants take longer, and that's doubly true if the weather is unideal. I am sure they can produce some nice quality bud by the end 👍

I still can't believe the size. Mine are nothing compared to yours. I will follow your diary next time.
Cheeba_Inu
Cheeba_Inu
@Lordspock, autos can be tough because if they run into issues they are going to stay pretty small! My 🦆 probably didn't get as big as it could have as well due to a PH issue late in veg. I am sure you will keep getting your plants dialed in, and I am happy to lend a hand if you ever have questions about your grows! 👍🌱

Awesome ladies 😍 they got huge. How is the smell in week 11 ? Is it really that decent as advertised ? Good luck, I will look forward to your harvest 👍
Cheeba_Inu
Cheeba_Inu
@HighZenBerg, thanks! It's a small plant, but is putting good weight on the buds so it will probably give a few oz at least. The smell is mild and stealthy, but a like it. Spicy and earthy with hints of pipe tobacco... A little bit savory/meaty even. Happy growing! 🥦
