There are still a few fungus gnats cruising around but for the most part they are under control. Next grow I have a totally different method I will be using. You have to wait till then to see. I’ve been super busy, sorry for the lack of photos.

@hiddencolorado, I like your LST technique...well done, man. Keep up the good work! 👍😎 You should hang up some yellow-sticky-traps, (special yellow plastic cards with glue on them, you can get any growshop) they attract fungus gnats and you can easily spot them there and react before they invest too much.

@@HiddenColorado, wow, that was a serious infestation...good luck with getting rid of them! Can't wait to see you train the shit out of her...lol

@Compassionate_Gardener, I do not hang I put on the soil and the babies flock to it like crazy. This is the worst case and only case I have ever had. I tried everything, now I covered the soil with sand so they can’t get in there at all. They are just about done

@Compassionate_Gardener,had to go to plan B and bring in diatomaceous earth on this one. I put a sticky card on the dirt and got 100’s of larvae and I’m not going to have them hatch. It’s been 3 days from adding the earth and still no flies. There will be a lot more LST and a scrog net in a few weeks. This northern lights does not stretch so I will be vegging long than last grow.

@GanjaTorturer, so the gnats are really not a problem any more. I put a few inches of sand above my soil so they can’t lay eggs in the dirt then I added yellow sticky pads to the top of that. I also filled my lower water reservoir with sand so they can’t sneak in the bottom. I’ll add some photos of this in week 11.

Will be adding dry weight and effect later. Most of the buds on his plant were 3 ounces wet. Will have to break it down to get even drying.
