This is my first grow with Sweet seeds strains. I've bought them in a local grow shop last year and put to germination for this round.
Both Killer Kush and Jack 47 XL Auto germinated with a success and I call them seedlings until they develop proper fan leaves.
Super excited to have them in the tent as I heard lots of good words about this seed company.
I watered them twice with a water solution with a controlled pH to 5.9 with an addition of rhizotonic solution to promote root growth and a Cal Mag additive.
As the air is very dry in the tent I try to raise the humidity by regularly spraying water.
Growth is slow as expected for now but the plants are healthy and I believe they will explode in two weeks time.
Thanks everybody for following and time for stopping by.
Enjoy your growth and stay safe 💪
spotted pests on the top of new leaves. By investigating it seems they could be leafhoopers.
They're few of them for now. Would neem oil be efficient? Should I be spraying the leaves and a grow medium too?
This week was not the best one but we managed somehow.
Just after 7 days thrips attacked little plants. I first tried stopping them by using neem oil solution but it didn't work. I decided to fight against them with a bio based spray solution and thrips were gone during the night😋
Also the relative air humidity these days have been low, just above 20%. I tried to spray with water the room regularly but it didn't help a lot😂
I hope the girls are not strong enough so the grow will speed up in the upcoming week.
Thanks everybody for stopping by.
Wish you a nice grow and see you around🙏
I was really worried about thrips that invaded young seedlings but it seems they've completely gone.
Plants started to accelerate last 3 days and they're bigger each time I open a tent to check on them 😍
Both plants are completely recovered but Jack 47 XL is doing slower than others and I'm sure she'll speed up and keep u with other girls. Almost all of them are showing signs of preflowering but hopefully they still have time to reach a decent size💪
3rd week I started adding nutrients according to the schedule and the girls simply love it, they're super healthy and growing vigorously.
Really excited about this grow as I'm doing it with 4 LEDs now. hopefully the harvest is going to be fruitful 😀
Other than that nothing special to report.
Thanks everybody for stopping by and keep on growing.😋
Really steady growth this week, plants look healthy and the preflowers are showing off along the stem.😋
I started with LST as I want a nice even canopy developed by the plants.
Love the progress so far, hopefully they'll speed up even more in the growth and become proper ladies.
Other than that, nothing special to add.
Have a great week and wish you all happy growing 👌
Thanks for stopping by and all your nice comments🙌
All plants in the tent are in the flowering stage. Buds started to form and I expect a nice stretch in next two weeks.
I will try to raise the lights to 60 - 80 cm as I don't want them to be dwarfs and hopefully this will help them gain some additional height.
The LED dimmer is now se to maximum output power to squeeze the maximum of them out 😀
I also started adding the Boos Accelerator to promote flowering😌
All in all I'm really happy about the growth. There is no sign of any deficiency at all and the overall health is 10/10💪
There is still no smell from the plants at this stage as the flowers are just started forming.
Other than that as always, thanks for stopping by😄 Please, feel free to leave a comment or two and have a gorgeous grow.
See you around buddies😸
The girls in the tent exploded as I raised the light for 20 centimetres😀 I made a mistake previous growth as I was keeping the lights too near to the canopy and the plants remained very small.
The growth was outstanding and I'm watering the plans every two days as they're really thirsty.
Killer kush plants is developing extremely fast, she started flowering just after the second week and she could be ready in two week it seems.😺
Jack 47 Auto is a mostly stiva based strain but she's not as tall as I thought she would be. Instead she's developed a nice bushy structure with numerous stems which I believe will be packed with nice buds when's she's older😇
Their condition is perfect, no signs of any deficiency at all and I cannot be more than happy currently.
Also the smell became noticeable, not very strong for now but I'm sure they'll develop their character in the following weeks.
Other than that as always, thanks for stopping by😄 Please, feel free to leave a comment or two and have a gorgeous grow.
See you around buddies😸
It's been three weeks since the plants started flowering and things look very good for now.
The buds are getting a nice form and a mixture of cheesy, sweet and garlic smell is coming out of the tent door when they're opened.
They stopped stretching for good and it was a proper time to lower the flowering lights and dim them to full throttle as the buds need as much light as possible to get big and fat.
I can see the difference in bud volume day by day which feels amazing.
Overall health is outstanding. A little signs of over fertilization can bee seen on the upper leaves of one plant but nothing of a big concern for me.
Next run I'll just flush the plants with a lower concentrations of fertilizers which should set things to normal.
I remove few leaves day by day but not too much, just a huge fan leaves which block the bud spots from getting the light.
The temperature and the humidity has been perfect for the flowering plants.
They still need three to four weeks till harvest but again., things are really going into right direction.
Last but not least. Thanks everybody for stopping by and wish you a healthy and vigorous growing
It's been 4 week since the plants started producing flowers and man.. The buds are exploding, they're getting really fat and smell amazing.
I lowered the amount of COCO A & B in the water solution and started adding PK 13/14 for an extra boost.
I flushed them this week to get rid of the potential minerals build up as little browns spots appeared at the top of the leaves which is a sign of over fertilization😊
Other than that I really enjoy the view in the tent and it's interesting to see that some of the plants are almost ready to harvest and others need few weeks more for sure.
Lat but not least - thanks for stopping by, appreciate all your comment and likes.
Have a great growing nad we'll se each other around😀
Previous week was everything about buds. They're still fattening which is amazing and the smell is getting more and more intense as days are passing by.😌
I wish I've taken the photos during the weekend under natural sunlight but I was quite busy.
Killer Kush has been chopped already and she's drying and the only remaining in the tent from Sweet Seeds package is Jack 47 XL. She's got few weeks to go for sure
I decided to lower the amount od Coco A & B and I've been giving them more Boost and PK13/14 which they like a lot.
Really nothings else special to report. Not sure how long should I leave them maturing but I don't want rush 😎
Last but not least, thanks everybody for stopping by, all your comments and likes.
See you around😊
She was an easy strain to grow and surely the fastest automatic strain I've ever seen. She started producing preflowers by the end of second week and was ready to be chopped just after 8 weeks.
Unfortunately she grew so fast I couldn't catch her with the correct nutrients. Nevertheless she produced a huge amount of buds for her size and amount of pop corn buds was irrelevant which is great.
Buds from all parts of the plats are even, really sticky and full of resin. Calyx-to-Leaf ration is high and I didn't have to defoliate her much during her growth until the last to weeks to improve the light penetration to the lower part of the plants.
If she grew bigger, she would definitely deserve a higher total score.
Thanks everybody for support, suggestions and last but not least for all likes.
See you around and stay tuned for another harvest😸
Love how all the plants in the tent have been maturing recently.
I tried something new this time and started lowering the amount of nutrients earlier than usual and it seems the results are here. The buds are extremely heavy and dense, so I hope for a nice yield. Leaves are getting yellowish thought as the girls are lacking nitrogen probably but that is something I'm not concerned about. In contrary, this is something I wanted to acchieve.
Nevertheless, after two weeks they'll be finishing their life cycle and I'll start flushing them with pure water soon😀
Smell of the remaining Sweet Seeds plant Jack 47 XL is delicious and the intensity is over every limit - lemonish, sweet and really fresh👍 I'm a little concerned of the smell in the apartment but I'm having all the windows opened during the day and for sure I need to change the carbon filter as it is not performing its job anymore 😆
I can easily say this is the best auto flowering strains run I've been doing so far and I'm absolutely excited for the end result.
Other than that nothing special to report so far.
A nice weather today encourage me to take some free time to take some photos on the balcony and hopefully you'll love them too!
Last but not least, thanks friend for stopping by and all the comments and likes.
See you around😋
Hi guyz, long time no see but I'm back with an update. It's been a wonderful grow.
Plants are almost ready for harvest and they smell exquisite😀
I've been lowering the nutrients by each watering and they're showing beautiful signs of a mature plant with nice yellowish leafs.
I had to change the filter in the tent as the smell was to intense and I was really worried as the smell was expanding around too much but fortunately I've got it covered.
Thanks everybody for following, commenting and all the likes.
I'll be posting the harvest week soon. I must say the results outstanding.
See you around and have a great week😀
