WEEK 1
This is my first grow! I started with 2 beauties, this one is the Royal Domina from Royal Queen Seeds, the substrate is a BioBizz Light-mix and i will start giving fert maybe at the end of the next week with Plagron nutrients, since i won their instagram giveaway on 4.20, and i'm very grateful to them!
They weather is a little bit s**t and i'm taking the plants inside when it rains and in the night when temperatures get to 11 °C and even lower!
If you guys have any advice please let me know!
When should I start using fert for roots? Can I start now? I have Root boost from plagron and Root juice from Biobizz, with how much ml/l should i start?
Hi there!
I think you should add the root boost right away! This is what I found on it: Add 1ml per liter during the first two growth weeks and repeat this process for the two weeks following every transplant.
Dosage and how to use Root Juice by BioBizz:
Use 2-5ml when watering alongside the rest of the BioBizz nutrients for that stage. Its used at the start of the growth period, when switching to the flowering period and when transplanting.
So for the Root juice i'd say start using it when you start to give your other base nutes too and that should take a while 'cos you need to repot soon and you will have enough nutes again for 2-3weeks.
Never used these products but that plagron power roots seems to be really good stuff it contains:
NPK 1-0-2
Humic acids.
Seaweed extracts.
Ascorbic acid.
Amino-acids.
Vitamin E.
Vitamin B1.
WEEK #2
Started giving some nutrients at the middle of the second week, I'm starting slow and the plant seems to look very good! I will start increasing nutrients this week to reach the right dosage, the weather during the week was very bad with 5 days of rain and 2 days of cloudy sun, if you have any advice let me know!
WEEK #3
Wind is getting pretty strong and the sun is very powerful, almost touched 28 °C on day 20, and in the night i'm moving the plant inside because it's very cold (11 °C).
I will transplant today (the photos will be in the next week), I had a little problem with one leaf that seems bitten but i'm still concerned about what damaged it 😣, the plant is looking healthy, I hope that I don't get in any trouble! 🤟
in the picture for this question, i see a little dot on one a couple on another. if it doesn't expand i wouldn't worry about it. looking for pests is safe to do and doesn't damage the plant or add anything to your substrate, so defintely get a magnifying glass out and check under leaves... doubt you have anything.
keep water off the leaves.. .it can cause blemishes of all sorts + microbial growth.

It’s best if you leave them above the soil. Too much non-rooting plant matter under your soil could cause rot, and if that happened- I’m afraid there’d be no coming back from that. Get her as deep as you can, but make sure her cotyledons are not touching the soil. They will eventually shrivel up, but she will need to be transplanted before that happens

when i did community service at a greenhouse in my teens (bwahaha), i learned you skip a node when pruning. 1 node, 2nd node - cut above. 1-2-cut above. etc..
It's probably safer to wait for 6-7 nodes before you start cutting your plant, though. You never want to take off more than 1/3rd of your plant at a time. Greater chance of shocking it and stalled growth for a period of time that can last a while in some cases.
WEEK #4
The plant is still looking very good and it's growing super fast (for my expectations😁), the night air temperature is still low but I'm trying to leave them outside as long as I can, I would love to try FIMing but I don't really know when, if I should wait more or it's the right time to do it!

WEEK #5
This week started with bad weather and ended with bad weather, it rained 6 out of 7 days and it was very cold, the pot was inside for almost all the week, when it wasn't raining I put them outside for some fresh air, but in the night the night air temperature was 6/8 C°.

This week the weather was very bad! It rained for 6 days and for all the day😭🤬
But the plant is still lookin good and growing!
Next week i will FIM my plant 🤟😎
WEEK #7
This week I finally use FIMing, hope I did it well and didn't mess up, let me know if it's done right 🌚
I moved the plants on my balcony for having more space they will get less direct sun hours since now, the weather seems getting better with hot temperatures and I don't need to put the plants inside!
This is my first time FIMing I would like to know if I did it right or messed up, the plant is growing and this is what it looks like now, if i messed up what should I do?
did the lower axillary growths start to pick up speed? if not, it was not topped in a way that cuased any redistribution of resources.
FIMing is just node mutilation in hopes it spreads auxin (growth hormone) and retains those snipped nodes at top enough to heal and grow. Just wait 1-2 more days and top it next itme - cut off same bit, but with slghtly more growth for an easy cut. Less time than the top node healing and re-growing.. no risk of missing it and not causing anything but cut leaves to grow :P
It looks like you missed it a bit but you're only in week 7 if it's an outdoor grow you got a long way to go this thing is going to recover don't panic. I wish there was a way I could send you a picture of mine but fo and take a look at my outdoor grow in Toronto Cinderella 99 in G13
