Hi guys/gals, so this run I'm working with dry organic ammendments from Gaia Green a Canadian Fertilizer Producer in B.C. I am trying to keep things as simple as possible without synthetic nutrients. I'm just waiting for her little head to poke through should be any day now and then I'll post pics. Stay safe!!

I had planned on using yucca extract with this grow but unfortunately it will not arrive until 2-3 weeks. This stuff is hard to come by these days so I'll just have to do without for a few weeks. This gal is slow out of the gate but it has been only 7 days so no worries yet. Because of isolation and delays all over the world, my Spider Farmer SF4000 which is for this 4 plant run is at customs waiting to be cleared. I am using Electric Sky ES180 first generation for veg. Not ideal for four plants but their small fortunately and I should have my new light next week when the growth really takes shape. I wish all my growmies great strength during this challenging time. To all the Frontline Health Care Workers and to the volunteers whom are brave souls for all their sacrifices during this pandemic. THANK-YOU I'm praying for you!! To all the responsible people doing the right thing and staying home. THANK-YOU stay Strong!! stay Safe!! You're making a difference too!! Last but not least Grow Diaries has giving me peace of mind and a place that I can get away from it all with some fantastic growmies to share my experiences with. A Big THANK-YOU you're my place to grow!! Stay safe growmies until next week!!

Week 3
Hi guys/gals, so keeping it simple this week with plain ph'd water 6.5 with a sprinkle of Mycorrhizae. Next week I'll have yucca extract on hand to start foliage application and I'll also add some to the medium as well to help with nutrient uptake and the everyday stresses of indoor growing. Well folks stay safe as always and I'll see you next week!!

Week 5
Hi guys/gals, I hope y'all keeping safe and positive. Day 28 and this plant is moving along slowly. I change the LST every couple days while watering twice weekly with plain ph'd water 6.5 with a touch of Great White. I did everything I said that I would not do with this plant lol topped and tied down when I was just going to leave her alone to do her thing but there's only so much you can do when you're isolating. Thank goodness for Grow Diaries to help ease the mood. Well folks have a great week while staying positive.

Week 6
Hi guys/gals, well on the good news side I have a purple pheno but on the bad news side I believe she is stunted lol if you look at the picture the shade of green seems really dark to me. I dunno any thoughts would be welcomed. I'm thinking I should have cut the dose down to start and worked my way up. I do see burn on the tips as well so most likely a combination of things happening. I'm not familiar with organic growing so it'll take some time learning the curve but hey I like a challenge. Well folks stay safe and positive!!

Week 9
Hi guys/gals, I have a sweet and petite gal on my hands here 🤣🤣 she is starting to look pretty. She's a sweet purple color and has started to also give off a sweet/pungent odor. I know where I went wrong on this little gal. I topped and tied down the same day when I just smoked a blunt and realized I pruned the wrong plant and voala I now have this cute little shorty 🤣🤣 lesson learned!! Thx for sharing and stopping by my diary!! Stay Strong!!

Week 11
Flushy flushy 💧💧💧
Small plant but very pretty to look at 💜 by far the lowest yield on this one and I am to blame lol I meant to top the smoothie and while I was thinking about it I rolled a blunt of Malawi Gold Sativa Landrace strain Africa which is very rare. Blew my mind and then the shitstorm happened lol I topped Purple Lemonade instead which was a stoney moment. I facked up this beauty when she was meant to grow untouched with very little LST and low feeding. I lose my train of thought so often and this time it cost me a big plant bawahaha!! Well folks this week just plain ph'd water 6.5 which I have a separate 50l reservoir where I store filtered water with 4 agitator stones to keep the oxygen levels prime. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my growmies because you truly give me inspiration to keep learning while staying positive to each other and sharing our ideas along the way because that's what it's all about. Stay Safe GD Fam until next week!!

This grow was my error and yield suffered dramatically. Looks pretty but the plant was stunted and didn't produce anything to memorable. Slight citrus taste. I'll have another go sometime.
What can I say about this stunted little runt?
" at least she's purple " pretty to look at but I f*cked this one up pretty bad. On to the next one growmies!!

Hello 👋
I was curious with using the dry amendments, have you tried to do an ec or ppm test of the soil before or after adding any ingredients?
If you take a couple ounces of the soil and mix them with distilled water, let it sit for 24 hours and then strain through a coffee filter till clear, you can test that water to understand the ppm of the soil.
Unfortunately if you're growing "organically " the elements haven't yet been broken down so the ppm reading wouldn't be accurate.
@WeedTheNorth, i love this podcast by kisorganics.com the cannabis cultivation and science podcast. It's a lot of organic people on it and great info. Give it a listen sometime
@Experimentgreen,very resourceful information. I thought I should ask to be sure. I do appreciate you taking the time to respond to me. All the best!! 🇨🇦😎👏🙏
@WeedTheNorth, so if you're not using any bottled nutrients, just dry additions then you should be ok to apply the same as a photoperiod, maybe just less often though. I say this because in an organic soil condition you've built all the microorganisms to do their jobs, if mycorrhizal fungi/ bacteria/ etc are in place they will break down, consume, dispose. Its like a tiny factory at work where everyones employee of the month. Lol
However if you are using any of these organics as a foliar spray....that i would dilute at a lower rate, 1/4 strength to start.
I'm not sure if the 8000 ppm was wholly accurate, also do you water with distilled or tap water? If tap, consider that water has a ppm value already before adding nutrients.
Greetings from Russia! Your plants look great! Keep developing in the same spirit! If you are interested in following the adventures of weed in Russia, subscribe to my diary
