BARNEYS FARM. ""PEYOTE COOKIES""
Been after trying one of these for ages now, loving the sounds of the genetics here! Should be one of the first to finish out of the batch of seeds I've just got in!
Leaning heavily on the indica side, should have some nice colours by the end if I get things right aswell!
GERMINATION;;;
Soaked in straight tap water for +-24hrs in a glass jar (had this on top of my ps4 to keep temps slightly above normal room temp)
After the 24hr soak they went into some moist tissue (not dripping wet/not too dry) folded around the seed but not compressed too much
This was then popped into an airtight lunch box (also misted with water)
For misting the tissue and inside the lunch box I used plain tap water with a couple of drops of canna rhizotonic in there
Lunch box wrapped in a towel (to block the light) and placed in my grow room 75° and left for a day or two until I see a tap root coming out of her bottom!(dirty bitch!)
Tap root popped out after 20ish hours inside the lunch box, from this went into some root cubes for a couple of days in the propagator, got a bit stretchy in there so potted into there first little pots
In batmix soil (with perlite) under 250w cfl veg light at the minute until it gets some proper light once she gets a bit bigger!
All sailing along nicely, had 100% germination on every seed I've started since doing things this way!

All going nicely with the peyote lady, seems to be the strongest and quickest out of the few different strains I have on the go here at the mo,
Ran out of pots when it came to potting her up, so had to improvise, cut 2ltr bottle in half, couple of holes in the bottom then covered round the sides (make sure no light getting to the roots!) Potted straight into batmix soil, then watered a tiny bit over the base of each plant then only round the sides (to try and encourage the roots to search out for the moisture)
Going to get her into a 19ltr pot over the next few days then under some proper light, might try a touch of training on her as she's rooting out the pot!
So up to now I'd say out of the 5 different breeders I'm growing here that Barney's peyote cookies is the most stable and has the best growth
Potted up into 25ltr pots this week, into batmix soil with perlite
Tied down some of the bottom leaves to expose the side branches (slowly easing myself into mainlining/manifolding) and also topped her after she'd had a few days to bounce back from re-potting
Under my 600w now so flying along, very impressed with these genetics so far, Grows like its on 'roids! Hopefully will look like its fully ripped by the time she's done!!!
Nice tight buds on this one, quick strain and nice results all round, good yielder, nice terpens (strong) and buds all look the part as well! And smoke very nice
@MrBlocc420, hi bud, yea i always seem to get a bit of stretch in the early phase, think its the cfl I run (too hot in my seedling/veg area for a HPS) I just re pot and cover the stem up to/over the first node, this seems to be working :)
@Endemic, its only a cfl (like a massive energy saving lightbulb) heat output is very little but lumens fade out quick so gotta be right on top of them :)
