ThrashedTV_BakedByGlaze GLAZEDGROW #3 - @Fast_Buds Original Auto Chem-Dawg a.k.a "Rickety Cricket" Decided to get another one going to reach plant limit and give me more to do during all this self isolation time! This will be alongside my other It's Always Sunny themed diary following my 3 other plants "Mac", "Charlie", and "Frank" OG Auto Sour Diesel a.k.a The Gang Solves My Gas Crisis. Took 36-48 hours to pop and set up good legs. Popped it in the starter pot and will see if it will take Charlie's place in the 5gal since it had a rough transplant. Will keep Cricks in a spritzed dome for 48 hours or so until the first set of leaves appear then I'll take it off. Learned the hard way on my last LSD25/CaliSnow grow when I cooked them under the domes and set a couple back. -- UPDATE - DAY 2 - 04/08/20 Plant sprouted nicely and settled in yesterday so I'd call that the official DAY 1 on 04/07/20 Took dome off after 48 hours and now uncovered getting spritzes of regular water twice a day or more until ready for transplant. We are at a very young, clean, still a priest, unscarred, unburned, unloved in dog orgies MATTHEW MARA stage of the Rickety Cricket cycle. -- Thanks for checking out the diary! ThrashedTV_BakedByGlaze WEEK 2 - Day 10 - 04/16/20 Self-Isolation @Fast_Buds Original Auto Chem-Dawg a.k.a "Rickety Cricket" is well on its way. Will transplant to new 5gal home by end of week. Keeping all the tasks spaced out so I can keep busy during home lyfee. Still have a unopened bag of Destiny Dark Matter super soil and ProMixHP to sprinkle in to add drainage. I flipped my dual-switch light to full flower for my 3 Sour Diesel's "Mac", "Charlie", and "Frank" so Cricks is getting more light. First set of 3-fingers is forming so it should start looking more like a regular plant by the start of Week 3. Gave the soil a little hit of Molasses water when I was feeding the others and might experiment with adding nutes a bit sooner than I usually do just 'cause it's Cricket and we know what he'll do for a 'Sixer. -- Thanks for checking it out! ThrashedTV_BakedByGlaze WEEK 3 - Day 21 - 04/24/20 Been very hands off with Cricks this past week other than feeding/watering. Gave it a super small splash of the PH Perfect feeding solution I was giving to my OG Auto Sour Diesels. Haven't decided if I'm going to transplant up yet or finish Rickety Cricket in a a little garbage pot like his namesake. Maybe even throw him in like... an old coffee can that I was planning to use for bacon grease/random change collection? This plant is wayyyyyy tooo pretty for the name Rickety Cricket so I'll just have to garbage it up a little bit. WEEK 4 Started so will update a new week in a few days when new pictures are ready. -- Thanks for checking it out! Throw down a like and/or follow so I can return the favour! ThrashedTV_BakedByGlaze WEEK 4 - Day 25 - 04/29/20 Rickety Cricket has been transplanted into his "Old Coffee Can Garbage Home" to make it a conceptual grow hahaha Transplanted on 4/28 into Dark Matter Super Soil and ProMixHP in a large Folgers container that I cut holes/slits in for drainage. I have a couple more 5gal fabric pots but will keep this one small since my 3 Sour Diesels look like they might get big. Started the LST as well and hopefully can control the shape to get as much as possible out of the small roots it will develop in the coffee can. My Diatomaceous Earth shipment came in so I topped the soil and plant base to avoid any new bugs that hitched a ride in the super soil. Can't wait to see how Rickety Cricket turns out! -- Thanks for checking it out! Drop a like and/or follow so I can return the favour πŸ™Œ STAY SAFE 😷 -- IG: @GlazedGrow

ThrashedTV_BakedByGlaze WEEK 5 - Day 37 - 05/07/20 Hilariously Rickety Cricket is getting uglier/cut up as the grow progresses just like in the show πŸ˜‚ Accidentally snapped the top during LST and failed to hold it together for the heal. Woke up to a dead top and full re-LST on the first ever topped auto I've grown 😡 A couple days later it's already switched apex dom. so two new growths are already well underway πŸ™Œ The stress should delay it enough to get a decent base veg before Cricks flips to flower. Giving it a plain water/molasses feed today along with my 3 Sour Diesels in my other diary. Will update through the week! Stay Home Stay Safe πŸ˜·πŸ™ -- Thanks for checking in! ThrashedTV_BakedByGlaze WEEK 6 - Day 46 - 05/16/20 Rickety Cricket is finally starting to get that scarred/cut up/garbage look just like the IASIP Character it's named after πŸ˜‚ Seems like the pre-flower stretch has started so it has another week or so to really set it's veg base. Keeping up with the LST and clipping any little leaves that are bunching/blocking since it's a small little cluster-eff of growth. This "concept garbage homeless Rickety Cricket" grow in a coffee can is going perfectly for all the wrong reasons πŸ˜‚ Great little project as I finish off my 3 Sour Diesels (Mac, Charlie, and Frank πŸ’ͺ <-- it's a bicep, not a dick.) Giving Cricket the leftovers of big feeds for my main plant, chased with water (Should be lucky i'm not giving it lemons..) Should turn into a hilarious chunky small fat bud situation once the flowers start coming in. Will update soon! -- Stay Safe! 😷 Thanks for checking in, throw down a like and/or follow so I can return the favour! πŸ™Œ -- IG: @GlazedGrow

ThrashedTV_BakedByGlaze WEEK 7 - Day 51 - 05/21/20 Rickey Cricket is thriving in his little garbage can grow! 😡 The training has allowed the lower branches to reach up during the flower stretch and should get a fat little stocky bud-ball of a plant out of it. With the small amount of soil I can tell it's going to be a quick drinker. I will have to keep up with the feedings more often than my 5gal Sour Diesels going right now: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/54258-fastbuds-original-auto-sour-diesel-grow-journal-by-glazedgrow Readjusted the LST and clipped some small 3-Finger leaves and anything bunching up the core of the plant. Nice and open now and need it for the small space of the grow. Very glad I have two more seeds to drop in real pots in the future because I'm excited to see what this OG Auto Chem-Dawg could do not grown in a coffee can and purposefully mangled it to match a TV character conceptually πŸ˜‚ Pistils are coming in now and the stretch is still going so I'd say stretch will be done by next week with the main sites starting to sprout πŸ™Œ -- Stay Safe! 😷 Thanks for checking in! ThrashedTV_BakedByGlaze as we all should have known, cricket did not end in a good place πŸ˜‚ root rot/ph flux in the small coffee pot and decided to abandon to focus on the harvest of my sour diesel (turned out to be a good choice 😎) just like the character this plant was named after, this version of Rickety Cricket also ended up a scarred, burned, husk of its former self 😡 thanks for following along! lots of seeds heading my way and a sad Blue Dream'matic window-sill sprout waiting to get under a good light. New diary coming soon! -- HUGE THANKS to everyone who looked, liked, and learned me here and on my Sour Diesel diary, you the REAL winners πŸ™Œ -- IG: @GlazedGrow

Happened to me until i switched to fabric pots. In fabric the roots will airprune. I also use enzyme powder and fungicide good bacteria time to time
ThrashedTV_BakedByGlaze
@GYOweed Yeah I was just out of fabric pots/had 3 other plants going at the time and wanted to name a "Garbage Plant" planted in "Garbage" after Rickety Cricket since i had 3 plants named Mac, Charlie, and Frank going 😝 He just went too far with the concept..
