@cloudmafia, Yes, I'm reusing the coco coir mix. I flush my pots out with PH 6.5 before amending the soil with slow release nutrients. After the soil has been amended I take the PH reading of runoff and make sure to keep my watering no more or no less than 0.5 higher or lower than the runoff. Depending on which nutrients you are using, you may not be able to get your PH down that low. My coco coir with gaia green nutrients does not have a PH below 6.5-7. I am guessing that you have PH issues and should read up more on it, as well as make sure you have a PH meter that is calibrated properly.
