Purple Punch Auto, Barney’s Farm

Yo yo. First auto, see how it goes. Going to be feeding less than a photo period girl. Sure all else remains the same so looking forward to it. Will be careful with training as there won’t be time for me to recover like others. She might be getting a little too much light right now, and temps with lights on and off don’t vary a whole lot. Short, almost no node length so far. So far so good I think, keep it realz. Greazy

Yo yo. Crazy how things go sometimes. This auto now is under 11 hours of light only.......due to my other plant acting up. So the PPauto had to be put in the flower room, which sucks. Figure better to segregate the glookies with the stress seeds, rather than let her mingle with others. Long story short, growing an auto this early at 11 hrs is probably not the best idea. All I can do though, so here we are. Will soldier on and see what she can make of herself. As soon as that glookies is done, will do a thorough cleanz and move this girl back. Yo yo. Thought she would be a little more fun by now, after a light trimming. Will see how 18 hrs light helps. Under a cob led now. Wasn’t ideal starting out with 12, hope for faster growth now. Glad she’s in her own home now, see what a week will do. Keep it realz. Greazy

Yo yo! Starting to see some pre flower type stuff going on. Noticed a bit of tip burn, will monitor as only on a few so far. Increased feed a bit........ I know, even with signs of tip burn lol. Did some LST to see if the side branches can catch up to main, not going to do any pruning this week. Hoping some good growth coming up. Keep it safe, keep it realz. Greazy

Yo yo! Another week, a little bit of rust spots on some leaves, few older bottom leaves look bad. Tips a little burnt so will drop more feed I guess. All else fairly stable, see if I can’t stop this rusty yellowing. Anyone has any opinions please share, hope pics show well. Thanks for checking in, keep it safe and keep it realz. Greazy

Yo yo! Hope you are doing as well as can be today. Think this purple punch is settling in, the yellow spots have subsided. Nothing too ugly in new growth so that’s good. Sticking with the current feed sched, tips have not gotten any worse, still think it’s related to calcium in some way. Added some calmag. Bud sites starting to take shape, not much, but starting. Yo,yo. She getting quite big for her little tent, managed to keep her low and wide. Pretty impressed with the growth lately, looks like she’ll be a busy little bush. Lots of calmag needed for this girl, still think I need to up it a bit though. Getting to the best part of the grow, when buds start taking shape and is always my favorite part. Yo yo. Late update, she’s doing well. Temps running a little hotter lately but doesn’t seem to be an issue yet. She’s a lot taller than I would have liked, more lst next time. Yo yo. This beast just keeps going, think it stretched for weeks. Buds starting to round out a bit, smell is starting to make me salivate. Relatively stable so far, some discoloured leaves from before still hanging on, no new nasty leaves so that’s good. Will continue to let her do her thing, the 5x5 tent is hers alone, does not want to share lol. Thanks for checking it out, keep it realz! Greazy

Yo yo! I’m liking where this girl is going. Very impressed with the bud formation, really stinky too. Hoping she starts putting on the weight, increasing feed a tad. Light is too close for my liking, not much I can do though. Maxed out ceiling, bent colas as much as I would like to, so that’s that. Leaves taking a beating in the center of the canopy, not too many weeks left so not concerned, not ideal though. Will continue to drop rh but has been difficult lately, might look at some bigger exhaust fans as current setup is full speed. Excited for the next couple of weeks, going to run the res empty for the last 3 days, after flushing for 1, and no light for last 2 days.........you know what I mean lol. Yo yo. She’s done, coming down in the next few days. Adding 6 ph water only, until ppm gets to 50. Will then drain completely and no lights for 24 hrs. Lots of milkys with a sprinkle of amber so time has come. Excited for this one, she smelling pretty sweet and fruity right now. Some good sized buds, lots of them, but nothing you’d hit a fastball with. Surprised she grew this bushy, I don’t recall topping just some lst. I’m sure she has a few issues, let her get too tall so light intensity was tough to keep up with. Like she needed 2 different feeding schedules, but I digress, getting into topics I need to learn more about. Looking forward to harvest, glad she made it and thanks for checking her out. Yo yo! This plant was a monster for me, tough to handle late in the game. Can’t believe how much she yielded, and it looks pretty good. Quite a few hairs, and lower buds were a tad airy but overall me likey. Early buzz reports are good, tastes ok at this stage. Was a calmag hog, especially with th ro water. She got too close to the light, and suffered some burn near the end. Which was part of the ugliness, center of canopy that close got beat up. Great strain to grow, didn’t fuss much at all. Should have kept her lower, but oh well, super happy with this grow. Thanks Barney’s Farm, really think I’m going to enjoy the PPA!
