Had a hard time controlling the heat this week, was getting as high as 85-87 in tent. Dialed down ballast to 750 W and this helped out the issue. Also started using dehumidifier in basement due to humidity levels.
Moby Dick-Bushy and full, biggest plant
White Widow-Very tight nodes, strain growing very different than the others...
Gorilla Strain-second biggest plant, no issues so far
Have been LST since about 1 month into Veg, Would like to give SCROG a go next grow.
Using SoHum soil which is supposed to have nutrients the entire life cycle. I am going to experiment with adding Bio Thrive to one plant to see if there is a difference in how these buds fatten up. The recommendation is 2 tsp per gallon every watering. I am going to start slow and do 1/2 tsp every other watering for a week and see how she tolerates it, will adjust as needed.
Widow already getting sticky AF, so that's promising.
I started using 2 TSP of BioThrive per gallon, plants seem to be tolerating well. This is still considered the "light" feeding, I think I will bump my nutrition up to the "regular" feeding during this week. Had a little yellowing of leaves on the bottom portion of the Moby Dick strain. I wasn't sure if it was due to air flow in the middle portion of the plant. I did some defoliating on this plant as well as the White Widow. I will keep on eye on the to make sure this is not traveling up the plant, still thinking due to poor air flow and not enough light getting to those middle areas. Checked the runoff and PH was at 6.2 so we are good there. Keeping my fingers crossed!
**follow up**
After doing much research this morning, have realized I have a nitrogen deficiency. Will for sure be upping my nutes to regular strength to help combat that.
I have been having issues with yellowing of bottom and inner leaves. I thought I might have a nitrogen deficiency, but not so sure. I added some additional soil to the top of the existing soil, I think the nutrients from the SoHum dirt have probably been completely used up due to me vegging to long. Hopefully this will help them with a little added nutrients, I don't want to add to many different variables at this point in flower so hopefully adding the dirt will correct the issue. other than that, not much change from last week other than slight height growth and fattening up at bud sights. All plants are super sticky and smelling awesome. I stopped using the biothrive and have been adding Fish Shit instead, just to be safe, as the yellowing started at about the same time as the biothrive use.
