RockStar Kush

Was given some Rock Star Kush plants to do whatever with. I originally was going to run just 4 Purple haze and 2 Blueberry this go around but 2 of the Clones were extremely nice. So 2 of the Purple Haze and the other 2 Rock Star went into pots.

Ok so story time lol. If you have read my other diaries, then you'll have seen that this is the third grow that I have done blueberry with. This is my second attempt with Rock Star Kush. Now I say Attempt because 1 year ago I started growing (April. 14 is my growiversary), and the first plant I grew was Rock Star Kush. At first I thought I was knocking it out of the park, I assumed the plant was health and I was doing a great job. That was tell I cropped and found that 5 plants and 2 months of work only yielded less then a oz. I didn't have anything die, but I got no yeild. Now knowing what I do the reason it failed was because I had gotten shit clones. Next grow I did was with 4 walter white and 2 Lindsey OG. The OG clones were crap and had spidermites (that was fun) but the walter white plants were amazing. Still didn't yeild much (got basically a oz per plant). After that a buddy of mine told me about his cousins YouTube show called grandmaster level and in a month I had watched all of his "the ABC's and 123's of growing cannabis" shows, a bunch of his main youtube show and so much more before YouTube yanked almost all his content. So now 1 year after my first grow I wanted to give them a second go. So far it's been rocky to say the least. Rock Star #1 has had a really hard time growing and has been showing street since day 1 and it was the nicest of the 8 Rock stars I started with. I discovered what could have been the issue and I'll bring that up in a bit. It's still growing (second tallest plant at 10 inchs), just looks sad. Didn't FIM it tell Saturday (April.11) just because I didn't want to stress it anymore then it already looked. But its growth didn't slow down. Rock Star #2 started off looking ok, but is by far the better looking of the 2. Its had zero issues and only slowed down for about half a day after I FIMed it on Friday (april.10) Ok so the reason I believe Rock Star #1 slowed down is because on April.8 after watering the plants I did a ones over on my system and discovered that after I had hooked up all the airdomes to the new air pump (switched the 4 valve for the airdomes with the 6 valve from my reservoir that I was only using half of the valves from), I had forgotten to open the valve that went to Rock Star #1. Now the reason I think this was the issue is because its showing overwatering stress but it had been getting a little less water then the others. Now to my understanding the main function that adding air to the roots is to help the plants increase there water and nutrient intake. After I turned the valve on, the plant growth increased but still looks sad. I'll be watching this plant closely over the next few weeks. I had other issues but they were covered in my other dairies Purple Haze - Humidity Blueberry - Reservoir In all everything is going good and I hope this time to have a more successful Rock Star grow. This last week has been a pretty easy week. No hiccups or issues. Humidity is perfect and rockstar 1 is looking a lot better then it did last week. Just been feeding the plants on mondays, wednesdays and Saturdays. Other days there just getting 2 cups of water. Turned the autopot system on yesterday. Plants haven't started drinking water from the tray yet, should sometime in the next few days. Well happy 420 all and happy growing

Easy week with only a small headache. On the 25th when I started to lolipop the plants, I noticed that Rockstar #1 had a very small amount of WPM on one of the lowere leafs (forgot to get a pic) and then on the 26th when the lights were off sprayed them down with a home made remedy. This week wasn't a full flower week. Started to stage the lights down in Tuesday (18 hours, 14 hours, 12 hours) so flower started on Thursday. Happy growing everyone.

man these are by far the best looking Rockstar plants I've had to date. I'm sure the other ones would have looked just as good if I had know how to water properly and had the correct type of light but hey that's part of learning. Getting to crowded to do individual pictures so going to switch to top pics soon. Doing a massive leaf strip this upcoming weekend. Happy growing

Hate to say it but these Rockstar Clones are outgrowing my seeded plants rite now. When I did the leaf strip they both had fan leafs as big as my hand. Just massive. I'm excited to see how well they both bud. So far it's looking good. Happy growing.

had issues with temp and humidity this week. And my dehumidifier was acting up and didn't shut down. Humidity got down to 25% in the tent for almost 12 hours. Buds development is looking nice. Happy growing

Man I can't wait to crop this rockstar. Last time I didn't have plants that look even close to this. Got signs of spider mites. Got neem oil on the way so hope it helps as much as I've been told. Look better then others in the tent.

Plants are looking very nice. Best looking plants in the tent by far. And there the ones from clones lol. First time running plants from seed, have always done clones. If i keep having issues with seeded plants like I have, might just go back to clones lol we well see. Happy growing everyone

Plants are almost done. Had a handful of problems this grownbut I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'll be happy when this crop is done and I'll be able to go over everything and fix all the issues I had. Happy growing everyone

Started flushing them on Wednesday, and they well be coming down sometime in the next 48-72 hours. I'm excited to see how the smoke is. I'll be doing a massive clean up and set up over haul when this is done. Well happy grlwing everyone

overall the grow was good. Did better this time with rockstar then I have in the past. Can't wait to see how good of a smoke it is this time.
