Ocean Grown Seeds Run #2

iMeus Hello Grow Diaries and friends I'm back from a long time away due to health and family reasons so it's good to be up and posting here doing what I love! To start off I want to say I'm excited to be working with Ocean Grown Seeds again. This run is all new product for me so I'm not sure what to expect from these girls. I have a 10 plant grow in my 5x5 tent that's turning into a pheno hunt. I removed all the males and cloned em for breeding later on. iMeus Hello everyone I hope you’re all safe :) I have a bit of an update to make up for missing last week so let’s get right into it! Bad Lights So I recently found out my two King Plus led lights were failing, one was only the red spectrum and the other had half of the diodes out. This impacted their growth keeping buds from putting on extra weight in this essential time of flower. I did notice a couple of diodes out (red spectrum only) on both new lights, I’ll email MH and let them know. I’ll finish this grow first, only a month left then I’ll return these lights for repair or exchange, I’m cool either way. Mag Deficiency and Burn It was hard to handle all ten of these girls since each one has a different appetite. This made it challenging to spot and identify issues along this journey. 3 out of the ten are incredibly hungry for magnesium and nitrogen compared to others. As a new grower I’m struggling but with trial and error, some research, I got through most of the early flower issues but ran into more haha. I overfed the girls with too much bloom booster. Their appetite went down since the lights were giving out. I had a feeling “less is more” and I still gave the booster.. my gut feeling was right :) Good News The terpene profiles are really starting to pop now, some are funky, gassy and others are a fruit basket with potent citrus notes. I’m really excited for One of the Molten Cores and Malibrew, they smell amazing. I can’t wait to get seeds from them :) Resin production is rising, some of the girls are frostier with Alien Rift leading the frost fight, this girl is a glacier compared to cannabis I’ve grown before. Second was the Primal Punch #2, fantastic high and a lovely lemon pledge like scent. I’ll post a grow with her next season, needs a proper diary. I’ll be running a breeding run in a few seasons, can’t wait!! I’ll update a more indepth section that will include individual height, size, stretch and more later.
