Hi guys! So I skipped adding the seedling phase to the diary as nothing really interesting happened. So I'm in week one of veg and as you can see from the video/pics things aren't going too well. I've got some serious yellowing and curling on some of the leaves and I'm working really hard to pinpoint the problem. It looks like a nitrogen deficiency but I don't think it is as the ec is fine and the nutes are all in range. Possibly an over feeding issue, going to decrease feeds to 1 per day for a few days to see it that's it, the roots are healthy and white though so I don't think its that but they are a bit droopy so maybe. The only obvious problem I found was the ph in the reservoir was way out yesterday at 6.6! How it jumped that high I don't know as it was dialled in at 6 2 days ago. Reduced it to 5.8 again today after adding some fresh water ph'd and dechlorinated. The heat and humidity are fine so It's not light or heat burn. Anyway hopefully this will get fixed asap and I can concentrate on getting these ladies healthy and ready for topping as they're all going to be mainlined. Thanks for reading, have a good week.

I'm missing info regarding your feeding strength, without it, it is a guessing game. It looks like lockout, be it due pH or over feeding, I can't tell. If your pH is fluctuating, you can buffer the solution adding both ph Up and down so it is more stable. Also, pH fluctuates in reservoirs due the plant taking different ratios of water and nutrients, changing the solution strength, if that change happens to fast, it means that the reservoir is too small.

So the ladies have recovered quite well from the over watering issue, I packed the coco in way too tight and skipped buffering as the coco being used apparently didn't need to be. My mistake entirely being lazy and trusting manufacturers over proven knowledge, lesson learned! I've got them on a reduced feeding schedule and a weaker nutrient solution, I've also shut the Wilma system down as they just don't need that level of feed frequency right now. I will continue to hand feed until they're more developed. I'm also not a fan of the drippers that come with it, they don't give an even distribution of solution so I think I'm going to look at getting a reservoir and using using the Wilma as a drain to waste system in the future. Started to train them and have topped the ones that were ready so another week or 2 and the mainline base structure will be done and I can focus on getting them ready to be flipped. Have a good week and stay safe if you're not in isolation.
