Back at again! Seedings both popping their heads out of the dirt. I consider the first week the seedling stage and do not count it towards my veg time. I’m excited for this run. Coming up, all you would hear about is either mango kush or white widow. Now I’m about to grow it and smoke it for the first time ever! Looking forward to another successful grow! See yall on the next update 🙏🏾
Description
White Widow is one of the best-known, and still one of the most potent, cannabis strains in the world. Originally created in the early 1990s its release to the coffee-shops of Amsterdam was met with universal rave reviews as canna-tourists flocked in their thousands to find out whether all the advance publicity for this white strain was true. It was and remains so today. Bred by crossing a Brazilian sativa strain with a highly resinous South Indian indica it is named after the plant's frosty appearance which makes it white with resin.
White Widow is designed for the utmost potency rather than any complex flavour profile although the smoke is very smooth and satisfying. The initial hit comes on fast and strong, which can leave anyone but the most experienced canna-seur needing to sit down, but this then slowly evolves into a very relaxing high ideal for enjoying music. It is an easy strain to grow almost anywhere; its eight week flowering period ensuring that it will be ready to harvest outdoors in October in northern latitudes before the weather gets too cold. THC levels are high, around 20%.

Day 10 from seedling and 3 days officially in veg. Not much to say so far other than just making sure the soil stays moist and keeping the environment on point. I will begin feeding once week 2 is upon us. Until next update! ✌️🏾
Day 17 from seed and day 10 of veg. I dropped my light a little closer because I felt that they weren’t receiving enough light at 36 in above the canopy. The soil was dry as well so I watered them with some URB and molasses about 5 days ago. I’m deciding if I want to do dry amendments or use bottle nutes like always. I’ll let you guys know on the next update! ✌️🏾
Day 24 from seed, day 17 of veg. Everything has been going fine. One of my girls is a little droopy and the other one isn’t showing any sign of stress. I started feeding some nutes but nothing too crazy. I will be using dry amendments once they’re delivered. I will be using Earth Dust Nutrients from the Green Sunshine Company. Can’t wait till they get here. I’ve been working like crazy so I haven’t been very attentive to my garden but that’s going to change here soon! Until next update. ✌️🏾
Day 31 from seed, day 24 of veg. I put them outside for the past week due to the environment being all jacked up as of lately. While I tend to that, I’ll be keeping them outside to get some natural light. They’ve definitely been developing all better as of late! Growth is picking back up and they’re looking healthier. Will be transplanting once we get to the 5th or 6th node. So I’m anticipating that to happen in a few weeks. Well until next update! ✌️🏾
So I finally was able to get everything in check with my environment. It all boiled down to my humidity being way too low and temps a little too high. Also my girls weren't getting enough nutrients so that explained the delay in growth. I’ve actually had some time this week to get back on track cause I’ve been slacking heavy! But we’re 38 days from seed and day 31 of veg. I anticipate growth will be rapid from this point on. See ya on the next update! ✌️🏾
37 days into veg and we’re finally getting these girls right! Nitrogen deficiencies early on was hold them back. I just topped them today and once I have more room in my tent, I will be transplanting them to 1 gal pot for another 30 days. I’ll be top dressing with earth dust dry amendments once I transplant. Really happy with their improvements! Until next update ✌️🏾
Today was transplant day for my two white widow ladies. They’ve come such a long way since I first germinated them. I now have more time to stay on top of them so it’s only up from here. We’re 58 days from seedling and day 51 of veg. Will be flipping to flower once they get to the desired height of my choice. I topped dressed the soil with 5 tbsp of Earth Dust Base and waterd at a pH of 6.9. Catch yall on the next update! ✌️🏾
Been a few weeks, growth is moving along smoothly. Been tying down all the taller tops and I watered them with some compost tea. In a few weeks, I’ll be transplanting them one last time and will be flipping to flower a week after transplanting. So 3 weeks from now I’ll be transitioning to flower. Until next update ✊🏾
These videos are from yesterday and we’re on day 5 of flower. Been MIA trying get this girls back to being healthy. I think they’re pretty healthy these days for sure. I did a bud leaf strip yesterday and some super cropping as well. This strain takes 8 weeks to flower completely. Looking forward to seeing how they turn out! ✌️🏾
Day 12 of flower. Almost done with week 2 of flower and everything is on point. They’re stretching but nothing too crazy. I’m giving them less water but will be watering at least twice per week. They’re steady drinkers. This strain finishes in 8-9 weeks so harvest time isn’t that far away. It’s been a long journey, much longer than it should’ve been but it is what it is. Can’t wait to be finally done with this grow! Catch yall on the next update! ✌️🏾
Day 19 of flower, I went ahead and lollipoped both girls. This will be my last time defoliating that heavy. As the days go by, I will defoliating here and there. They’re growing strong and healthy as well. 51 days until I harvest. I can’t wait!
Catch yall on the next update ✌️🏾
Day 28 of flower and I’m very happy with these two ladies atm. In both vids, you can tell which one will have the fatter nuggs. The plant in the first vid, was transplanted into Fox Farm Ocean Soil and the other was not. I can tell you right now, your grow medium definitely makes or breaks your grow. I will be using FF as medium of choice from here on out. Not much else to say other than they’re done stretching and are starting to fattening up every day. Got a little over 40 days left until it’s harvest time. 42 to be exact! But I’ll catch yall on the next update ✌️🏾
Day 35 of flower. Nothing much has changed from the week before. Did some minor defoliation and watered as usual. We’re on cruise control and just keeping my eye on them daily. 35 days left until harvest! Catch yall on the next update! ✌️🏾
Day 43 of flower. Buds are starting to fattening up more daily and the color characteristics are starting pop more. They smell isn’t too loud but it’s pretty strong. Got some up close shots of some of the best nuggs. ZOOM IN! Catch yall on the next update 🙏🏾
Day 50 of flower, 20 days till I harvest. Checking the trichomes daily. These nuggs are some of the best I’ve grown so far to date. They’re chunky and frosty as hell. They’re dense and shaped like golf balls. Patiently waiting to give these ladies the chop! Catch yall on the next update ✌️🏾
Day 57 of flower, we’re on the home stretch now. I’ve been flushing them out for the past week or so now. I like to flush for 21 days. IMO, I think the buds taste better and smoke smoother when you flush longer than usually but that’s just me! No specific pics/vids of the white widow but I thought I share my entire garden with you guys. I said I would harvest on day 70 but I might harvest on day 63-65 because I’m seeing more amber trichomes every day. My next update will either be harvesting or I’ll be letting them go for another week. Until next update! 🙏🏾
Final update before harvesting. I will be harvesting this entire tent come Sunday. This grow has been a long and knowledgeable all at the same time. This strain is very resilient to say the least! Until next update!
This strain is very forgiving to say the least and would definitely grow it again. Only 10.5 grams away from 2 oz. I could’ve definitely gotten more out of these girls if I didn’t have two other plants jammed in a 2x4 grow space. I’m happy with my results. This strain is very loud with hints of lemons and gas. Highly recommended!
