Second Grow

popped more random bag seeds!. transplanted them day 2 as the pots became available. barely any roots to disturb so it will be just fine. the tap roots just made it to the bottom 2 days after sprout. watered the vacant pots with an inoculant blend and put some fresh dry soil right under the roots for them to dig into and then transplanted them. excited to see the advantages of using a larger, fabric pot and some beneficial microbes. probably should have added the dry powder to the dry soil and transplanted but I think this will be fine. always learning how to make it better next time. this stuff is chalk full of beneficial bacteria and fungi and substances they thrive on, plus B vitamin for root support. it sort of reeks but not as bad as fish fertilizer, which I will be using next week. I will be trying out LST this time. 14-10 light schedule. I will add a couple hours every time they grow more leaves until 18-6. plan to veg for a month and throw them into flower in my 2x4x5 grow tent

plant on the left is showing stress from the light, because I added another one, so I moved them up. they are doing just fine. might start some fish fertilizer this week. day 10: moved them into my grow tent. don't have much to manage heat and its showing on the left plant. indica-dominate light and heat loving plant on the right showing no signs of stress. day 11: topped them this morning day 13: started some 5-1-1 fish fertilizer. this stuff reeks like shit. plants love it. organic

starting to take off again after topping them. may have overwatered them. cant wait for them to start showing their true colors. the one on the left is looking exactly like my last grow, a suspected cannalope kush. and the one on the right is smelling skunky. hopefully they both turn out to be female! day 16: started LST on left plant with some stakes that I 3d printed. other plant is too small to LST for now day 17: decided little plant is big enough for LST, just barely. showing some weird things with the fan leaves, one is missing the big middle pedal and on is lookin crazy, will have to do some research on that. she (hopefully) is smelling like a lemon skunk, which would make sense since I had a bag of that earlier this year. they are both showing signs of nitrogen abundance, went too heavy on the fish fertilizer day 18: defoliated the bigger plant as the fan leaves were in the way of the nodes. was able to expose all the nodes to light on the lemon skunk without defoliating.

final week of the veg phase. growth seems to be stunted. day 23: finally got some mycorrhizal fungi I was hoping to introduce last week but shipping these days, man. though the first blend I used came with mycorrhizal fungi but I was wrong, so I had to get this. 16 species can't go wrong. day 24: holy crap that mycorrhizae is perking my plants up! this stuff is awesome! weeks of being overwatered and stunted ended by 1 application. everyone should get it day 25: spotted flowers on the left plant! its female! must be an autoflower, hopefully its not stressed. it is still over nitrogen'd and one leaf is showing weird growth. please don't be a hermie pheno 😐 day 27: full day of darkness. im throwing them into bloom early since the one was showing signs of revegging. im close enough to the bloom phase where I dont need to worry about my yields so much

week has gone by great. plant looks healthy. still worried about the cannalope herming. day 31: lemon skunk showing female flowers!!!

plants keep impressing me. cannalope is growing some 16 or 17 petals on a leaf after some weird reveg or stress. it flowered early for some reason. might be because of the bennies and the N abundance. after the weird 16 leafed freak is some good looking regular 13 petaled ones. its gonna be legit. maybe I should clone one of the 13 pedals to keep the pheno. the other colas have the regular 7 or 11 petals. the lemon skunk is flowering nice. I have a feeling its going to be some tasty bud. no mutations or anything weird going on with it. she is looking just fine.

long story short: shes been transported twice and shes fallinf over on herself. oh well shes looking good. other plant is really veggie, it will need a couple more weeks to bloom out. I dont want pictures of it because its reallly veggie. kinda ugly. oh well. 2 more on the way too but Idk if I want to keep updating diaries like this one although they're fun and good for learning
