19/4
2 are pushing through and one needed a little more time to germinate it was very slow but all are the same strain. We will mark this as day 1.
21/4 the two sprouts have gone well, one is yet to be seen so I'm having doubts unfortunately. I really wanted to get 3 going but that may not be possible. I'll apply more water to it today and see if she manages to push through.
25/4
Gave them a spray with the spray bottle and they're coming along nicely.
Week 2 tomorrow
27/4
Used a spray bottle to water them and started introducing nutrients to them through the means of a spray bottle at 1/4 strength. First time introducing nutrients to seedlings but have been told to give it ago as soon as week 1 so this counts as 1 week from sprouting.
29/4
Gave her a light spray with the same nutient solution as above
30/4
Gave her a bit more water to hopefully last a little longer and hoping for a take off soon.
2/5 is the next week
2/5
I know they're only seedlings but I feel this is going to be a very slow growth compared to the blue cheese clone, starting up week 1 nutes at full strength tomorrow, I have been feeding them at what I believe to be a 1/4 strength nutrient mix I may have messed up a little when I did it I was tired so it may even be 1/2 strength however it's been a week and I think it's time for full strength nutrients tomorrow however I am hesitant because they're seedlings though this is my experimental run.
3/5
Full strength nutes tonight and will wait and see how it all goes.
4/5
New leaves have developed so I gave her some more feed
8/5 started week 2s nutrients because she needed a feed and it's close enough anyways.
9/5 starting week 2 of feed if they last through the next mixture.
9/5
just gave them some feed from week 2.
11/5
Giving another feed.
13/5
Assessed coco coir and will water tomorrow. I have started doing some lst and will see how I go for yield with this lot and wether it's worth doing clones or doing seeds because I prefer autos as they grow themselves.
14/5
Gave them some week 2 nutes and this time used 2 ltrs on both, fingers crossed itl make some difference.
15/5
Gave them new pots, 18ltr pots will help with my lst and I'll feed week 3 now to help them.
16/5 is week 3
16/5
Just fed yesterday 15/5 with week 3 feed, they're very small for week 3s.
18/5
Gave them a feed and left back under the lights.
21/5
Just did a bit more lst and left the smaller one to for, so far it's worked out just fine and the smaller ones now the taller one.
22/5
Gave them a feed and added a new led into the same timer with an adapter so it should keep to the same light cycle. Both are developing very well I think I might just keep slight lst and possibly super crop the main stem when it gets too tall and keep it level with the rest.
23/5 is week 4 and lights will be changed to 12/12 because the other ones going into flower.
30/5
Gave them the same nutes for one last day and small amounts of defoliating, it's important to note I kept it on this feeding week for 2 weeks to help stimulate growth as my expectations are the autos will take a bit longer like the last ones I did.
1/6
These two autos are rather small, hopefully they will stretch since they're about to be out into flower nutes.
3/6
Will feed new week 5 nutes. I'm a bit late but oen feed should be fine. They're both now flowering? Hope they stretch
6/6 will feed week 6 nutes till the 14th
6/6
Just gave them both some feed, one is starting to flower which seems about the right amount of time but the other hasn't so I'm just giving her flowering nutes and keeping them in sync. I'm hoping they just bounce like my NYC diesel auto did during flowering. Once the cheese clone is out of the way then I'll have way more room although I feel they might be very close to each other, maybe I left the clone going for too long? It's my first time with photos so this is a learning curve.
9/6
Had a look at them and they're still good, I'd like to out them under my other light but the cheese is taking all of that up.
12/6
The inspection didn't go as planned my real estate found a leaf in the back yard so I moved everything off the property incase they do a random inspection so for now it's set up elsewhere to the heat dies down, she got a bit damaged in the process but should bounce back just fine I'll finish the grow but it's a 40 min drive to feed them every 3 days.
13/6 is the new week
14/6
Defoliated and gave new nutes for the week.
17/6
Gave her some food and trimmed a few leaves. Added a dehumidifier and I'm trying to keep it around 40/50%.
20/6
Gave her a feed on the same nutes I will come back in a couple days to change nutes over.
Next week is on the 21/6
22/6
Gave them a feed and a slight defoliation.
25/6
Fed the girls and they're starting to show their buds which is fantastic. I hope they fatten up a bit more but considering they have been under a lower watt led whilst the cheese grew ginormous they're probs just in need of more light which is coming soon.
New week starts on the 29th
28/6
Gave a feed of nutes to the girls, I was worried about one of them as a major branch snapped last week, I put take over it and it seems to be healed I just can't do anymore lst to that plant. I'm not expecting a huge yield off these two as my blue cheese clone took majority of the light.
1/7
Gave them a feed and accidentally snapped a couple branches, I just secured them and glues them back on.
3/7
Gave them a feed today and I'm thinking of reducing the amount I feed them to reduce the run off, might start doing 3 ltrs each instead of the 4 at least till they get a bit bigger.
6/7
Gave them a feed. Harvested my cheese clone.
8/7
Gave the girls a feed and a few of the other ones. Light defoliating now they're no longer fighting for the light, I'm hoping the buds will fatten up as there's next to nothing on them. I was hoping they would be done in a week or 3 but I'll have to wait and see now.
11/7
Gave them a feed and defoliated a little, they're coming along good and I can't wait to see the end result.
Week 11 feed chart starts on the 13th
13/7
Just fed them and slight defoliating. They have gotten a bit fatter which is great and I'll keep feeding them till 14 weeks and harvest them without the flush as I don't think it does anything imo.
15/7
Gave them a feed and set up my new girls in the same tent.
18/7
Gave them a feed and left alone.
20/7
Gave her a feed as it's the last week on the feed chart.
22/7
Had to move them back to mine and thankfully nothing got damaged. The leaves have started to go purple in places so Im getting calmag for the last week. Not sure why this has happened maybe my pH pen was out.
23/7
Gave them a feed however the inner buds are still coated with white hairs so I'll have to leave for another week. As for the possible calmag issue iv added humibooster again and I'll monitor.
24/7
Okay so found out there was a major issue it's not a calmag issue my plants have been locked out. For those who don't know it's when there's an excess salt build up and it's easy to do if your experimenting like I was for instance I dropped from 8 ltrs of feed to 6 ltrs between the two plants to reduce run off as I was having a LTR + go into the drain tray each feed and then I'd have to empty it and it got very repetitive so I dropped the nutes to 6 ltrs not realizing I reduced my run off and I had salts build up over a week and then the next feed I bumped back to 8 ltrs but the salt content was too great and has locked my plant out of feed it needs.
So what do I do? I either I have to flush my plant for 1 week then feed for 1 then flush again or I flush for 2 and then harvest and considering it's an auto flower it's not worth running another 3 weeks as I have another 3 going ATM so I could use the space.
25/7
Gave her another flush and got ps down to 600ish with water.
26/7
Gave them a feed as I can see deficiency is spreading so I put her back on full strength nutrients and I'll monitor for another week and see how she goes. Ppms were coming out around 800 and pH was slightly higher, not sure if it was because of water left over from yesterday in the drain tray but I'll leave it for now, less is better with these plants.
Towards the end I started getting problem after problem and cut the grow a week short. I had a 5 pack of seeds and only 2 germinated the other 3 came out black or just wouldn't crack.
Grow went well I had trouble from the start though, 2/5 beans worked and of those two they weren't very quick growers I mean my NYC diesel auto grew faster and was stunted for 4 weeks. Pretty good in terms of actual problems, the branches weren't very thick and snapped quite easy by accident.
Overall I won't be doing this one again unless RQS wanna chuck me a couple beans to repair the relationship here, could be bad seeds but the vendor is out of stock and I don't think is restocking.
I have only got enough room to harvest 1 plant, the other will be flushed for a couple days till the first half is dry enough to start curing.
Plant 1: 4 ounces
Plant 2:
I wish I could see them in better light. I wish I could get a better look at bud structure. I got some seeds and wanted to see what I could count on
could u tell me if the phenos are very different to one another or did u just pop that one bean?
@DaSofaSurfer, just go with whatever, my NYC diesel auto made me and the Mrs Green out and we don't have medical cards. Just go with whatever looks best or do one of each. Idk what your running and I'm not gonna have a full convo about it here but feel free to check the guides I kept completely up to date on the first one or two I believe so have a look over and read the comments if you have any questions, you might find answers there.
@Lolberries, I just did. I know you can't smoke because of tests for work. could u not get a marijuana medical card? anyway I know your Mrs still blazing. please ask her what she thinks of this smoke in the most detail she can give once you these bugs are ready. I'd appreciate it. I got my next run on deck but I'm curious about this strain. like I said I have some of these seeds and I'm having a hard time deciding what beans to pop next. cheers man I'll be back to look for that report in 3 or 4 weeks. blessed be you and your family. ✌️
@DaSofaSurfer, I cracked 5 seeds and only 2 survived. There's are the two and they're pretty much growing the exact same way I don't expect much off them. Check my NYC diesel diary
Im in my first grow week 5 almost week 6 of flower. I only feed them 1.5 L each, no run off, I've begin to feel like I have an issue because my buds slowed down a lot it seems in getting phat. In another growers experience should you water with run off? Also feeling like I am having a similar problem you mentioned with something clogging my plant from eating and not getting phat. If not worried about space or time what would you do?
@Lolberries,
Yep you definitely need run off and a flush after each 5th feed or the ppm will get of in the thousands and will stress the plant to death pretty much salt build up.
@HiddenMessage, hey mate you always need run off or the salt content builds up at the bottom and kills the plant, I would flush it for a day and then feed again 2-3 days later. I would also check the drain tray nutrient mix ppms or E.c with a tds. It's estimated if you put 1ltr through you need 100mls run off. What size plant pot are you using? I use a 2gal and I put 2 ltrs of mixture into it from about week 3-4 when she can handle it and when she hits week 4-5 of veg I swap to a bigger fabric pot. I'm using 18.5 ltr pots or something it's like 4gal and I put 4-4.5 ltrs through each every 3 days on the feeding days. If U use a 2gal pot you wanna use 2 ltrs of nutes mix then you want to let it drain then sit in the tray with a grating element in the middle so its elevated and can drain whilst remain out of the draining water or else itl get parasites and fungus issues.
@BakedMonkey, it was a great high, not much in terms of smell, my blue cheese smelt better than this one and the high was more enjoyable, the high from this strain was like my body wants to get up and go but the mind was like no your sitting here for a bit.
Congratulations on the new baby. She looks good at first. Choose a good variety. For a treat. Continue to do what you do and ask the growing ganja gods to protect your women until the growth is complete.
@Bouleuss, cheers she's coming along great. I have trouble starting up but once she starts going I just sit back. Hopefully one day a breeder will throw me some unique freebies to try out haha
@BlogMArley, not too sure it's pretty cold here atm I believe it's sitting between 19 and 29. I don't have a fan blowing in the tent it's just the intake and exhaust so I was hoping that could help the temp issue as when I walk in the room I feel it's warmer there than the rest of the house.
Good veg light but too much blue for bud I've got all the par series and the 700 has the most blue spectrum next grow back the blue to half and full blast red n white u watch the difference
